161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Another phishing scam ICO project (Impressio) on: June 30, 2018, 08:46:22 PM
Impressio bitcointalk thread doesn't exist, Telegram channel has been deleted, Twitter account was last updated on 11th of june, ever since then no information from them. The only available forum now is the bounty thread, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3350550.new#new

@needmoney deserve a negative trust, he knows this project is a scam and he never bordered to clear the air, by letting
investors and those participating on it bounty campaign to know about this scam.

163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are. You leaving crypto? on: June 29, 2018, 11:09:13 PM
I am seriously considering it.
There is no future in a small market cap that is pumped and dumped!

In addition, trading bots are running the show: milking everyone!
One thing I am finding difficult in the crypto market is how to use those trading bots, i have once tried backtesting on Autonio (NIO) trading Bot, but the whole system was quite complicated to me. if I can learn on how to configure trading the bot, I will say goodbye to the crypto market and go back to my normal job, while the bot will be doing the daily trading for me
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worried about Crypto currency future on: June 29, 2018, 10:50:00 PM
What do you thing, where crypto currency is going? Do you think this is end of crypto?
This is just the beginning of crypto growth! forget about the challenges the crypto-eco-system is facing correctly, look out for the future. The future is as bright as the crystal.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think ethereum is the best crypto next to bitcoin. on: June 29, 2018, 10:41:26 PM
I started to like crypto and being an enthusiast with it lately. I had read many articles around in the internet and found some good attributes regarding on the  different kinds of crypto in the crypto market. And i found out that ethereum is a platform which also supports mostly of the altcoins being introduce by  its mean using ICO. Conducting a project from the crowds budget and in return from the contributions are the giving of tokens instead. And afterwards the tokens will be used in an exchange they prefer to partner with. That is why i am taking credit to ether as best crypto next to bitcoin because of the platforms being used by most of the crypto as well. What do you think? isn't it ether is the best crypto?
Ethereum, is a good project indeed, but there are also project that offers similar service like that ethereum, e.g, Wavewallet, Stellar, AND NEO

I just received email from you few minutes ago. Hackers are trying to reset my password. Here’s the message “Someone has requested a link to change your password” I didn’t request to change my password. Watc
I received same email on 22 of this month, and I also experienced same thing on my Shivom account after the end of their TokenSale, after much try the hacker was able to get through my account, but unlucky for him,  there was nothing for him to withdraw, cos the account was 0.0 balance.

To save yourself from hackers, change the email You are using presently, when you want to participate on any ICO don't use same email, and make sure to enable 2factort authenticator.

Nice project indeed, but the correct price of the coin is not favorable to those that participated during it ICO stage.
Current price Below 60% compare to the ICO price

What did just happen here? Did he got nuked or what?
How come his activity got decreased to zero? and all the post got deleted?
Simple, the user deleted all his posts. I assume he never created any topic. You can not delete a topic (except mod/admin) but you can delete the comments you make.
He must have been hit by mods I guess, account like this needs to be blocked!
172  Other / Meta / Re: The 1st hero account ranked up from senior?! Cleary an abuse, alts or bought? on: June 23, 2018, 08:21:09 PM
This is technically crazy! what is the penalty this? I believe there are penalties for those abusing the merit system?
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market can be manipulated? on: June 23, 2018, 08:08:23 PM
Latest article by www.wired.co.uk stated that a newspaper by researchers  at the University of Texas at Austin's department of finance indicates that someone at Bitfinex cryptocurrency exchange may have artificially inflated the price of coins including bitcoin, ether, and Zcash. The responsible for this appears to have been Tether, a cryptocurrency with the same CEO as Bitfinex.
What are your thoughts about this? Do you think they really manipulated the price? Is it possible?
This 100% possible, we see manipulations around cryptocurrency market every day, and this inclouds the grand-master of all crypto (Bitcoin). what do you think happens in the year 2017, what causes the market pump? manipulationS.....
It happens even in forest, that the secrete of the business!
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best ICO project in June 2018 ? on: June 23, 2018, 07:59:03 PM
What is the best ICO project in June 2018?
This year there are many ICO scam projects and I have joined 2 of them. 2018, BTC downtrend and price not exceeding $10k  makes the ICO projects difficult. I want to search for a good ICO project capable of x2, x3. To find such a project is very difficult, If you know please introduce me. Thks so much.
I see ICOs Investment as a gamble, 50/50! in fact, your chances of losing are higher than your winning, I prefer to wait for an ICO project to hit exchange and buy lower than ICO price!
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Best ICO to choose for beginners on: June 23, 2018, 07:51:42 PM

176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Musician Akon is Launching a new Cryptocurrency. on: June 23, 2018, 07:25:39 PM
Amazing! this actually made day, The site for the new crypto coin states that an “Akon Crypto City” is in development on 2,000 acres of land that the rapper/singer was given by the president of Senegal and will be “a first of its kind 100% crypto-based city with Akoin at the center of transactional life.”
I love his vision, and I pray he succeeds. but my question is how will the project benefit Africans at large?
check out the official website https://www.akoin.io/
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Guide] MyEtherWallet Offline Transactions [SECURITY] on: June 22, 2018, 09:58:53 PM
This involves a little technicality, I have not really tried this out, but am willing to give it a shot, thanks for the piss
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you research altcoins? on: June 22, 2018, 09:49:22 PM
You should invest in an ICO that makes sense as a project and that actually has a demand in the market. The business or app behind the token must be closely integrated with the currency such that one cannot work without the other. .
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Was Robbed Over 1200 ETH at Gunpoint a Week Ago on: June 22, 2018, 09:30:03 PM
Learn From My Mistakes!

Around August 2016, I took a 2 week vacation to a certain East African country. At the end of my trip, I visited a School for the Deaf and the Blind and donated foodstuffs and clothing. A month ago, I decided to go back and see how the kids in the school were fairing. Things went very well and I had the chance to address them on cryptocurrencies and other emerging technologies. Before departing, I donated 20 ETH to the school for the construction of 2 additional low cost classrooms that would accommodate 30 students each. Tx Hash ( 0x71137cd92f47588a7f034b1b91b80b752174946fea00ca70a1a885ccd3a64ee4 )

How I wish I had converted the ETH to fiat before donating or ignored the whole donation thing altogether. On 11th June 2018, at around 7pm, just a day before my departure to Denmark (home country), I requested a taxi to take me to the movies. Seems there were gangsters trailing me. 20 minutes after boarding the taxi, a silver car blocked us and we (taxi guy and I) were kidnapped at gunpoint by around 5 hooded men who called me by name. At that moment I knew it was a set up. The taxi guy was let go a few minutes later, around 5kms from the scene. I was blindfolded for the next 2 hour or so journey and I ended up in a well furnished house surrounded by mean looking guys brandishing Kalashnikovs.

Their leader then demanded that I transfer the 1218 ETH remaining in my wallet ( 0x33dFc93619f9D0eD2b48714bA2e5268741Ae815B ), Tx Hash: 0x1f7cdef3f6caa5291f5e497f1e16bd9cd6be9579d024fd5d65b56ddfc3774d11   to this address: 0x1363E2E4EaC1e5ffed881353263415EF1B3657E4.

Things got worse when I appeared to hesitate. I was beaten up mercilessly till I agreed to transfer the ETH. I was later dumped at a quarry in the middle of nowhere at around 4am with no phone and just $50 that they gave to me. I found my way out of the quarry and bumped into a good Samaritan who took me to a nearby police station to report the matter. I have also reported the case to the Dannish Consulate here and they have been very helpful. Luckily I didn't sustain any serious injuries

It seems after I made the ETH donation, someone or a group of people checked out the sending ETH address and saw the huge amount of ETH balance that I had in there. I believe that's when the plan to rob me was hatched. If you are sending ETH to someone who knows you personally, it's safer to transfer from an exchange wallet. This will ultimately prevent them from knowing your real ETH balance. If there are better ways, kindly share them in the comments.

Police are currently questioning the board of the institution where I made the donation for links to the robbery. A week ago, the school sent me 1 ETH to show their sympathy for what I had gone through. Don't know who to trust on this planet anymore. Humans are evil and can do anything to obtain your hard earned cash.

PS: I made this post to open your eyes guys but if you feel like sending me something to help me get back on my feet again, here are my addresses:

BTC: 1HmmS3etzR5N9wu526MbGqNf4e7hha8yzx

ETH: 0xD1EB11F74EeA181f0bC772c4a2493ED2448bf2eD

Thank you

So sad 😔 , yeah sometimes it is better to learn from peoples mistake.
Personally I don't transfer Tokens from my central wallet directly to an exchange or any other account, I have more than  one wallet, what I do is that, I transfer from wallet to the other, then to another till it gets to it destination.

I have been hacked before so I have learnt alot of lessons
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you listen to analytics? on: June 17, 2018, 11:22:23 PM
Hey guys, do you read all articles about cryptocurrency from famous analysts? Do you believe their predictions? Personally I don’t believe them, because no one can predict where market will go. What’s your opinion?
Just like you called it, prediction, anyone can make a prediction, crypto in general is based on speculations. So it will be silly for anyone to key into their predictions.
