Hi Guys.
In the last few days I'm studying 10 hour a day this new world of cryptocurrency.
I came into the ICO thing.
Now i'm just wonderting one thing...
I've seen that since the ICO, some crypto have gaines ridicolous % like 40.000% (Stratis), 20.000% (Ark), 7.000% (QTUM), 6.000% (Lisk) and so on.
I think I can't understand how this work probably.
Does it mean that if I invested 10.000 euros in Stratis ICO, now I will have 4 Millions Euros ?
I don't think it's possible, I can't believe something so easy to get rich exist in this world.
I've been though that you have to work hard, create companies, give value to people and so on in order to get rich. Are all those bullshit ?
I'm kind of shocked. Do you know anybody who become really rich with this cryptocurrency things or those are just legends ?
I've also read somewhere that most of Crypto who get those bumps, is just because you can't convert them in real money and just use them in some close marketplace and so on.
Somebody is so kind to explain to a newbie how does this work ?
I've also seen the bitconnect scam thing... seen videos on youtube about guys making tons of money with that, how this is possible ?
How did you do the computation? If you invested 10,000 Euros in Stratis ICO and it now gained 40% value increase from ICO price, then that would only be 14,000 Euros and not 4 million Euros. Anyway, what you think is impossible is possible here in the crypto world. Growth is not just on the 40% level, there are many others that went as high as 100% or 200% in price growth in a very small fraction of time. I believe that is 40,000% for Stratis, which would be right. |

As someone else mentioned, NEO seems to be working closely with the Chinese government which means they have a great chance of being very successful in China. NEO also generates GAS at a pretty good rate. I know you can lease WAVES, but not sure of the process and how much you get from it.

It might be good to wait until the next fork, which is in a couple weeks. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but BTC seems to run-up prior to a fork and then ALTs take a huge hit. ALTs then pop back up right after.

Airdrops are free coins which are distributed to those who registered to their form. It can be their strategy to get some investors or maybe those coins are trial coins. I cannot say that it will be a successful one but there is no wrong on trying. Also, the airdrop coins can be a good coin, no one knows.
Some you don't even need to sign up for. They take snapshots of a blockchain and distribute to accounts based on certain criteria. I think these will have more of an impact when I can actually use the coin on it's respective platform. It's similar to getting coupons in the mail. Example: SALT sends 1 SALT to a bunch of random addresses and then they get 1 year free of the basic membership. |

Well, the recently hyped ones have not been performing well. Even Ripio was selling on EtherDelta during the ICO at a discount. The market is overly saturated right now. Not sure what is coming up, but doing research now and will come back if I find any!

Some are scams and some are not. Why would you contribute first and then ask if it is a scam though? Do research prior to investing any money to play it safe.
