So now everyone's accounts have been transferred to Cloudbet, with whom I've had an account for over a year but Cloudbet tell me my amount owed by Betvip is zero as my total did not cover a bonus work through!
That has to be absolute cobblers as I joined around 9 months ago with a deposit of 1 bitcoin and got a 100% bonus with terms and conditions that it had to be turned over a few times. I can't recall exactly but I believe it was somewhere in the 3-5 times region.
Seeing as I used to have a couple or more bets a day ranging in stake from between 0.3 and 1.0 bitcoin  I would have done that in a few months easily!....let alone 9 months.
I even looked at how much was available to withdraw a few days before the site folded and  the figure was the whole amount that was in my account whereas in the early days it was always less than I had showing due to the bonus work through.
I've now had to email and request my betting record to try to sort it all out.
So far of course,  I've heard nothing back.
BetVIP have to go down as the very worst outfit to have ever run an online sportsbook.
The people responsible should be ashamed of themselves.

Well mine hasn't.
 No doubt this is down to the totally and utterly useless BetVIP.

I have just followed the above instructions to get access to the 1.67 btc that Betvip owe me and got a message telling my my username was invalid.
I am slowly being driven insane by the ineptitude all around me.

Looking like BetVIP have NOT sent my details and 1.67 btc over to Cloudbet!
Will this fucking saga ever end?
I really am getting pissed off now.

A new Cloudbet account has already been created, with the same email address as your BetVIP account. Simply browse to Cloudbet.com and use the "Forgot your password?" link to set your password for the first time. It will send you an email with instructions on how to reset your password.
Log in to your Cloudbet account, click Withdraw, and input your bitcoin address and withdrawal amount. That's all there is to it.
There are no requirements at all. You are free to withdraw immediately.

Things have obviously been going on behind the scenes over the last couple of weeks.......BUT WHY NOT LET US KNOW ON THIS THREAD FOR GOD'S SAKE!!!

I have communicated with both away from this forum.

More chance of me becoming the next pope than BetVIP paying us today in my opinion.
 

We are half way through June 30th now.
Still no bitcoin received. Still no communication either by email or on here.

Well...............it's now the 29th June, so after yesterday's cut off to apply for funds it appears nothing's  been sent to wallets yet.
Mr Everitt,  if you are reading this, would you be kind enough to email me and tell me when I can expect my bitcoin?

Does it turn out to be useless?
I'm sure the people that granted the licence can be informed if the person that held the licence defaults on payments to customers.
What action can then be taken would have to be looked into.

The red flag for me though was when I read this less than a day before the site vanished:

 Still, let's not jump the gun...we may be back here in the next couple of days celebrating the fact that our bitcoin have rightfully been paid to us.
If I don't get mine I will be looking into what I can do to protect the customers of any future cyberspace ventures that involve Schwartzkopff.
I will pursue the matter and the man vigorously if I have to.....not because of the amount involved but because of the way things have been handled so far.

From the lack of action on this thread I'm beginning to think I was their only punter.
No wonder they went belly up.
 
On the plus side, they won't need to pay out a lot to draw a line under the whole affair.
 

Ok guys, the day has arrived.
It's the cut off point today for anyone owed bitcoin by BetVIP.
I lodged my withdrawal request the day I read this posting.....Sadly, I received no acknowledgement of that request...I assume nobody else did either.
Will I get my 1.67 bitcoin that I had in there when they folded?
If I do, it will be in the next 48 hours according to the above statement.
We shall see.
