It is not out of nowhere, this is official news from cloudbet and it is not clear about betvip poker platform yet. Still no respond yet from the support , I wish they would answer me here. Also for the lag issue, I dont experience that while I am trying the site. It must be because of your connection there

Betvip is a sportsbetting site as well and also a poker site. They closed down and cloudbet acquire betvip player base. So they are offering the same thing but not clear about the poker site . Betvip is one of the worst sportsbetting around here so betvip player will be please with this news .

Seems from the news that betvip didn't pay out before shutting down. So this move doesn't really mean they have all the player base. Just means the accounts of people on betvip are also active at Cloudbet, and neither does it mean they will definitely play on there. But since we know no details of the deal, its hard to comment if it was a good takeover. But yes, betvip would definitely be pleased to get funds back and be associated with a new site.
