161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Aave: Easy Come, Easy Go? on: August 26, 2020, 02:04:20 PM
Aave was a great hold for me, as usual i habe not made killing profits but still im happy with the profits, i was holding my lend tokens at binance with sell order and it was filled but it was way under the current pricebut as far as i have made some profit i am happy with it.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: (GUIDE) How to trade on uniswap correctly on: August 26, 2020, 01:19:21 PM
Uniswap has become most used and preferred instant swap dex and no doubt it is one of the most simple and efficient interface and yes scammers are also taking advantage of uniswap in different ways so all the traders and investors need to be careful and double cjeck everything before initiating a trade.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never give up on: August 25, 2020, 02:06:27 PM
As a bounty hunter always expect failures sometimes

1. Just because a golden year occurred in the past doesn't mean we will witness such again, yes it's possible but better adapt to present condition.

2. Promoting two to three projects and waiting for your payment doesn't make sense, as a bounty Hunter the sky should be your limit, since we can't tell which project will pay or not I suggest continues hunting.

3. Listed bounties may not pay, it's still same risks as bounty projects that aren't listed on exchange yet, rewards may vary but who am I to tell? I'm not a great seer am I?

4. Scammers takes advantage of Cov-19 alot and many still fall victim upon all the warnings, now we only have few days left till next Bitcoin halving, few new scam projects will surface, keep your eyes sharply opened
Yeah. I have learned these things with time and experience too.
But the fact is that bounty hunting has faced terrible times from 2018 onwards till recent months and i have stopped doing bounties for several months but now market seems to be improving and i think bounty market will also revive and we will see more and more good projects coming up with good reward campaigns.
So yes we should not give up just keep on working with a positive frame of mind.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is FORSAGE a Ponzi scheme? on: August 25, 2020, 01:31:44 PM
Is FORSAGE a Ponzi scheme? Buying ethereum to keep and buying ethereum to invest in forsage, which is better?
Stay away from all such programs and schemes, for me any investment platform that does not have a real, established, trackable and authentic business or product is nothing but a ponzi scheme. In case of forsage as well it is nothing but a mlm or matrix based program which will die away as soon as new investments and user flow will stop.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is worth to invest in dogecoin? on: August 25, 2020, 12:19:46 PM
Well!! Did you know? Dogecoin has gained a lot of popularity in the crypto space, as a lot of experts like Elon musk, vitalik, and john McAfee have shown love and support for dogecoin.

On the other hand, experts predict that dogecoin price will rise high in the upcoming years.

What's your take on dogecoin?
It has been one of the oldest coin in the market but personally i do not see any real value in buying and holding dogecoin because there is not much going on about it. It is just a coin and nothing else so I do not find it as an attractive investment.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto and fashion on: August 25, 2020, 11:25:18 AM
Nicolas Romero, the creator of Satoshi Studio, is going to actually connect blockchain tech with fashion industry. Currently, he has developed a shoe brand. And that leads to a question: does crypto industry is ready for such inventions?
I know there are already many merchandise with bitcoin or other crypto on hat, t-shirt or something in that stile. But let's be honest: a t-shirt with poorly printed "to the moon" on it is nothing more but a meme, not a real fashion.
Yes, every industry is ready to adopt and implement blockchain tech and crypto as a whole, I have seen a few online stores also accepting crypto even in my country but real adoption will come when the near retailer will also accept and encourage crypto payments.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum and ETHER difference on: August 24, 2020, 02:38:19 PM
as I entered the crypto currencies and read about projects involved, i did not realized the fact that Ethereum is not the same as ETHER (ETH) and seems to me that most of people take these two as synonyms, although that is not the fact, so i will do a simple explanation for beginners

Ethereum is an implementation of blockchain with defined rules, it is the same as Bitcoin is another implementation of blockchain with defined rules, it is a broad meaning, and there could be many different instances of Ethereum blockchain implementation, these instances are defined by genesis block for each of those, and all blocks that are subsequent to this particular genesis block, while

ETHER (ETH) is a native token of Ethereum public mainnet instance, and as such can be used only on this instance, but there are also other instances - for example many testnets - Rinkeby, Kovan, Ropsten - which are public as well

as other example of instances, there are private Ethereum networks, such as Nightfall instance by Ernst and Young

so basically Ethereum is much broader term than ETH (ETHER) and one should bear that in mind when talking about about crypto currencies and digesting news regarding Ethereum blockchain implementation, that does not have necessarily to have influence on ETH crypto currency
Whatever you call it does not make any big difference because mostly people use a short version of their choice that is easy for them to pronounce and remember.
I have even seen other projects with different names and tickers that people use unofficially for their own convenience.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in NEO now? on: August 24, 2020, 12:34:42 PM

I observe that the NEO coin has been sideways for more than a year in the 0.00156BTC-0.00160BTC range. I want to invest some in this coin. Is this the best price range yet?
Please give me advice. Thank all!

NEO is one of the top coins to hold I still remember how it punped hard during last bull season and changed the financial standing of most if its investors now neo is again gearing up for big moves up.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can be the reasons for this exponential growth of #DeFi? on: August 24, 2020, 11:40:40 AM
Have a look at the Digital Asset Market Performance of last week.  What can be the reasons for this exponential growth of #DeFi?

👍 https://www.bitcurate.com is the best place to analyze, research, understand, and forecast your #cryptocurrency investments.

DeFi growth is the result of demand, most of the tokens of the defi based projects offer high returns to lend or stake the tokens on their platform that is simply the reason why people are purchasing their tokens more and more and this is driving the price exponentially.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto passive income - a bubble? on: August 24, 2020, 10:40:49 AM
I see that more and more investors are interested in a passive income that comes from cryptocurrencies. But, I am a little bit afraid that all these concepts: staking, crypto lending, and all form of income that is generated from nothing will end up sooner or later. When you compare mining, you have to buy mining rigs at first, then you need to pay electricity, so you spent a lot of money to mine a Bitcoin and that makes it valuable. What about staking? What you sacrifice to receive new coins?
You have a point for sure but this is true only for coins and tokens that are offering returns without any serious purpose, perhaps only to avoid dumping.
While projects that offer genuine staking that serve the purpose of securing the network will be fine i guess.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Ethereum transaction has been pending for over a month on: August 23, 2020, 10:43:18 AM
I tried to send an Ethereum transaction using https://www.myetherwallet.com/ over 40 days ago. I used a very low fee and seems it was not nearly enough. The transaction is now stuck and says pending. It doesnt look like it will be dropped and I am not sure what to do.

I tried to speed it up by adding more gas through Metamask but every time I do that I get an error in MEW and it fails. I read somewhere that I need to spend the same nonce with more gas for the transaction to be confirmed. I have no idea how to do that. Can someone help?

Has anyone faced similar issues wit stuck Eth transactions that couldnt be spent and how do I solve this?
What is going on with the fees and why is an ETH transaction more expensive than a Bitcoin transaction?
The good news is that ethereum fee is back to previous values not only they are low now but faster as well, the eth dev team has found some solution for short term to cope with the issue which is great because community was thinking that it will remain like this till eth 2.0 launches.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of Defi Projects That Have a Price of More Than $10 000 on: August 23, 2020, 09:09:17 AM
I also sometimes feel confused, why the Defi project can have a price above Bitcoin and Ethereum? Does someone know the reason why?
Below is a list of Defi projects that have a price tag of over $10 000

# yearn.finance
# Wrapped Bitcoin
# pTokens BTC
# PieDAO BTC++
# sBTC
# renBTC
Instead I would have been more interested in knowing about high quality defi based tokens with low and limited supply and cheap price so we can take advantage and make some good profit with them because in crypto market these are some basic parameters to make profit.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT TYPE OF CRYPTO INVESTOR ARE YOU? on: August 19, 2020, 10:56:14 AM
There are different types of investors with varying priorities goals, habits, and tolerance of risk. Read this thread to know the type of crypto investor you are.

1. Newbie: In any industry you must first be a newbie before you become a pro. To get started with crypto you need a little capital to start. This group include those with a little or no knowledge about the crypto industry but eager to seek to diversify their investments into new high risk assets that offer a good return

2. Crypto Enthusiast: Like a newbie, the crypto enthusiast joined the market not long ago and still doesnt have enough knowledge about the crypto industry although he has built a diversified portfolio which he checks their performance everyday.

3. Hodler: They are people who will rather hold any crypto no matter the ups and down they believe one day it will get to their desired price

4. Early Adopter: The early adopter are people who got into bitcoin when it was less than $100 about some few years ago. At that time everyone thought bitcoin was a scam but they took the courage to buy some because they believed in the technology.

5. Professional Trader: These guys have seen crypto trading as a part time or full time job. They dont have concern with holding cryptos for a long time. Their main and only goal is short term profits.

What type of investor are you? Im definitely an HODLER
I am a hodler too as i am just holding mostly btc and eth and sometimes other promising coins as well, I am not doing active or day trading because it is stressful and also you have to keep checking the charts all the time which is not my type of thing at the moment.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi scams [history] on: August 19, 2020, 08:20:39 AM
YAM token
1.https://yam.finance/

https://www.gate.io/trade/yam_usdt

What happened?

The team launched the project without auditing a smart contract
Added PR, hyped social networks and launched token sale
The price has risen to $ 175 per token.
Due to a critical error in the smart contract code, the token price drops to 70 cents.
https://medium.com/@yamfinance/yam-post-rescue-attempt-update-c9c90c05953f
Liquidity is lost on the 1inch and Uniswap exchanges.
Gate.io and Bibox continue to trade a scam Smiley

YAM 2.0 is coming, we are waiting for the continuation of the party

MEME token
2.https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5268573.msg55019734#msg55019734

As far as i know YAM is not a scam, it was just a case of the bugs in their software or coding or programming or smart contracts whatever the correct term is, so i think it will be sorted out, there will be either a swap or the same coin will be reinstated with necessary improvements.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why You Think That Your Coin/Token Will Grow? on: August 18, 2020, 04:57:10 PM
Hey.

I researched very much in the net. I read numerous comments in the blogs. I saw to much messages in the telegram groups. and discord forums

and I found that most of the people really don't know why they chose their coin/token. just they know their coin is good and the future is belongs to them.

The Question Is: Why You Think That Your Coin/Token Will grow? (based on what?)
These days defi is the tag everyone is chasing so the potential answer to your question can be DeFi. It is really wierd to see how this thing has came out of nowhere and just dominated the market and is considered a guarantee for success or 100x. I mean these type of projects are present from long but now market has just gone crazy for them.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which site do you use to get fresh updates on different projects event on: August 18, 2020, 03:55:57 PM
It's an easy way to make money if someone trades based on different event I think. But when I got the news, I can not entry at early point. So, which site do you use to get event update of different projects? Is there any app which can notify you before 15 days of an event? I would like to get all the possible ways to get such event update. Please share which one do you use.
I do not follow any specific website but different sections in this forum help me stay updated.
Also i get to read random crypto news and events published on crypto media. And also i use to browse my twitter daily which is full of crypto related updates and events and i do not need to surf anywhere else for my crypto dose.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 10 DeFi projects on: August 18, 2020, 03:14:39 PM
Aave and synthetix have been truly awesome. They have proven their worth in short span of time and now their supporters, investors and hodlers are reaping real benefits.
Regarding YAM there are many memes and scam accusations on CT but we have to wait and see what solutions they come up with.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] - Markaccy.io | 300K MKCY Bounty Pool 8 Weeks Only! on: August 17, 2020, 04:56:22 PM
Hi manager.
As far as i remember the total reward size of this campaign was 500k usd worth of MKCY tokens, so have you reduced the total reward now?
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is very excited at the moment. on: August 17, 2020, 03:28:16 PM
After much speculation the value of bitcoin has been $12,000. Bitcoin is currently priced at $12,000. Bitcoin has actually been able to show that bitcoin is the king of the crypto world. As the price of bitcoin has risen, so have the prices of other cryptocurrencies. Ethereum, Litecoin etc coin prices have risen. What is going to happen in the market. What do you think about all this cryptocurrency? Let's discuss in detail.
Looks like bitcoin and most of the top alts were consolidating and they are now ready for next big move up. If we talk specifically about bitcoin next resistance is at 14k so hopefully btc will reach there  soon.
As far as Eth is concerned I would like to see it reaching 550 because after that there will be very few hurdles on the way up.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UNISWAP MADNESS on: August 17, 2020, 02:22:18 PM
As someone who was here for the ICO craze of 2017 with tons of people exit scamming on investors I thought I would give some advice to those chasing crazy gains on uniswap. Over the past month or so we have seen crazy gains on uniswap with 100x returns on some projects so it is easy to be sucked into it, but you need to realize most of these listings have not gone through the ICO regulations which means they can just rug pull at any time leaving you with a worthless token. A few days ago NEXE, and NUGS to name a few just vanished after dumping on holders. You will notice most of these token creators like to remain anonymous which is a big red flag. You need to realize anyone can make an erc20 token and list it on uniswap then create a web page with copy and pasted info from other legit projects and throw the word defi in there. With the SEC involvement with ICO's launching that is actually a better thing for investors to hold the token creators accountable making it less likely to have them vanish with your money. In 2017 lots of ICO's did not go through the SEC regulations, but now they all have to or risk jailtime. Some will listen some will play the game and get burned, and some will make crazy returns. I personally think you are better off just holding ETH or buying into a project that went through a traditional ICO. Good luck out there and stay safe!
Trustswap, Dia and some others have really utilised uniswap well but obviously the quality of the project and the competency of the team is what that still matters and investors went crazy following good projects because of the expectations of the bull run and most have already made killing gains but looks like this trend will continue.
