1601  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if BTC never reaches all time high? on: April 03, 2020, 10:59:53 AM
The world economy is in a turmoil because of coronavirus yet bitcoin is not so much affected. Does that not tell you something? It shows the strength of the crypto. Staying above $6,000 for weeks now means a lot to its price and I believe that halving which will occure on Bitcoin next month will further strengthen it. The second ATH of $13,000 should he crossed before the end of 2020.
1602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: CMC Misleading new projects on: April 03, 2020, 09:53:09 AM
Coinmarketcap is the real reason why so many new projects devs are misleaded, they go to CMC and pick from the top rated exchanges to list their tokens because CMC gives all bad exchanges good rating, that's very misleading

Maybe now that Binance CZ is about to take over, new projects developers will start making the right decision about those Exchanges
I do not think CMC misleads in the way you have described it. The problem is that most people on their own think that whatever tokens that makes it to the CMC is good for an investment. There are exceptions to this. And there are exceptions too with Binance because there are also shitcoins listed on Binance.
1603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will 2020 be exactly what we hoped for anymore on: April 03, 2020, 08:11:16 AM
Good day friends and family on here, here are few questions disturbing my little mind since I wasn't expecting this virus this year, I thought this year will actually be the best since years ago, but it seems I'm wrong

1. Will Bitcoin halving have impact on crypto market this year with the virus outbreak?
2. Is Coronavirus benefiting crypto at all?
3. Will New projects be able to proceed with launching and development in this outbreak?
4. What do you think will happen to bounties this year ?
I say YES to your questions from 1 to 3. And to the 4th option, I believe this year will not be all that bad for bounties. It will definitely not be like the doom we experience in 2019. Again we also have threads that now select safe and good bounties and this will take out the scam projects which does not redeem rewards to bounty hunters.
1604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gender in blockchain. on: April 02, 2020, 08:45:02 PM
At first I thought it was gonna be some SJW claiming that blockchains have genders too.

Well, women in the blockchain industry isn't something too new. They could take on various roles, like advisor or even in the C-suite. After all, blockchain is just another form of business, just like software companies.
But we can still say that the blockchain industry is gender bias if we take a complete look at it. Am not sure we have any token or coin established by a woman. We may have women in the team but it is not the same as having them as founders. These are two different things.
1605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Toilet Paper Token in Yobit on: April 02, 2020, 10:05:21 AM
This is beyond a joke. For whatever reason the imaginary token got on the coinmarketcap site yesterday, whether as a prank or not, shows that there is something beneath that name people are not seeing at the moment. It is raising this dust because it is put on Yobit. Put it on Binance, you will hardly hear people call it a scam. Yobit already has a bad image as a scam exchange that is why.
1606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why not we donate some Bitcoin for corona virus? on: March 29, 2020, 07:53:47 PM

Since corona virus has been declared as an medical emergency. why not we as a community donate some of our Bitcoins to help those suffering.
Donations are not necessary every time a problem comes up. Some tines precautions and sticking to experts advice works better. I believe this is what the world needs now on COvid 19 while the various governments take care of their people financially as they observe lockdown.
1607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is KYC bad for crypto? on: March 29, 2020, 11:41:44 AM
KYC is bad for the sake of exposure but that is what price we have to pay if we must achieve regulation for this industry. There are instances where I submitted my KYC documents only for those projects to scam. I believe such scam projects are likely to sell customers' data in their possession on the darknet and thereby endangering the identities of their customers. If we can achieve regulation without exchanges demanding KYC documents, that would be fine and great.
1608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gold quickly becoming more scarce. Which will be worth more, Bitcoin or Gold? on: March 29, 2020, 06:06:04 AM
Gold in existence - since ages
Bitcoin in existence - 11 years running

If you still want to compare gold with bitcoin, it's upto you! Gold has been used by the banks worldwide to keep as a cash equivalent for unforeseen times. Bitcoin is not yet adooted by banks for any such reasons.

Looking at the current situation, Gold stays way ahead than bitcoin or any other cryptos to be considered as a safe heaven. Hope you have got your answer.
You point goes t show that bitcoin will be worth more than gold once mass adoption by more countries and governments is achieved. Bitcoin is highly limited in supply compared to the total world population. Any vital news in the favour of bitcoin always kicks the price up. And this we are going to see once this epidemic is over. Watch and see.
1609  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now is a good time on: March 29, 2020, 05:48:35 AM
Let's be honest here, Covid-19 has brought about a lot of changes which includes quarantine. And there's one thing I'm sure of; one of the people to make gain in this season are our service providers. I mean, everyone stays at home and there's probably an 80% probability that they would spend more time on the internet. Now, let's also think of this; don't you think that this is a good time to promote btc (online)? Imagine, most people presently are off their work desk and are surfing the net. I really think that this is a good time to promote btc online. If people hear more about it, it'll keep brightening the future of btc.
I have two questions for you. What have always hindered you from reaching out to people (online) and 2, would you agree with me and support the promotion of bitcoin in this season??
No matter how long people stay at home, remember that there are people who still will not have access to electricity supply l, talkless of the Internet. Countries in Africa and poor Asia still have challenges of electricity and other infrastructure problems. These ones are excluded from the gains of staying at home.
1610  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading, gambling and binary options. Which one you prefer? on: March 28, 2020, 07:06:00 PM
I will go for trading any day. Gambling is just like a video game and not business. Its motivation is pure greed or how do you explain someone aiming high on nothing without greed? This is the way I view it. As for binary option, it plays out like a normal buying and selling too except that you need a special kind of skill to trade it.
1611  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If we have great ability, is capital from bank loans safe for us to use trade? on: March 28, 2020, 04:35:17 PM
I want the opinion of you members of this forum,
whether to use capital from bank loans unsecured and risky if used trading by traders who have good skills? even though in my opinion
safe as long as we can make a profit and smoothly repay loan installments to the bank.
Your friend is not a gambler and he understands that taking a loan from a bank is like going to the devil for a cup of water. Nothing from the devil is ever free of charge. There are always hidden charges. Your friend should continue in his record of winning trades and sooner than later he will have the big break he desires.
1612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I realise Coronavirus is not a reason why on: March 28, 2020, 08:01:24 AM
Now, Bitcoin is artificially cheap, and real hodlers are loading up before the upcoming massive price pump.
Am just as hopeful as you are that there will be a price boom soon and am banking on the Bitcoin halving for this activation. However, we really can not for certain know how things will go when it comes to cryptocurrency and bitcoin.

Your Title and body of the post are contradicting.
It is likely the OP did that to captivate readers to the thread. Not bad a strategy in the media
1613  Economy / Speculation / Re: Guys avoid panic sell... on: March 28, 2020, 06:56:03 AM
After this corona deadliest disease the governments in most of the countries has announced lockdown and this has caused a stir among people's because they can't go out of home, So people are selling their asset for cheap prices. Guys this will surely impact the price of crypto and the dip will continue if it goes like this, do not panic sell have patience and just wait till the market recovers...
The proposed or expected downward crash of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is not going to continue forever. We still have expectations of good news from bitcoin halving the community and investors are looking at. This will somehow keep price from crashing further. On the advice for people not to sell off, it will not be adhered to. People sell for different reasons.
1614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 90% Of Project Bounties Are Scams on: March 27, 2020, 05:38:53 PM
We have to find a way around this scams to end it here. May be the moderators can put in more efforts to strengthen the efforts of a few members who have been exposing this scams. I see a lot of scam bursting on the Scam and Reputation threads. Hunters should always look that up from time to time. I have been saved a lot of stress by doing that myself as I escaped a lot of scam.projects.
1615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty alone is not enough on: March 27, 2020, 05:23:26 PM
Good projects don't depend on bounties alone to promote their token sale.
And this is because when bounty hunters post about a project, majority of these posts is only seen by other bounty hunters and not to the real investors.
This is not completly true. The teams know what they gain from the spread bounty hunters give their projects. If there is nothing achieved by hunters I do not think the teams will be asking for the services of bounty hunters to run their adverts across various social media. Even projects which run signature campaigns on this forum have gains they record because a range of investors visit this forum on daily basis to seek projects they can invest in.
1616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges Tokens on: March 27, 2020, 03:43:20 PM
New exchanges even DEX are creating tokens, I an one of the supporter of Vitex exchange and you can see it with my avatar, this exchange distributes dividends to its VX holder which feels good to hold than using native tokens for the trade frees. DEX today are doing these to gain support, Weidex is just one of them and I think they are also starting to get some trust from users.
That Vitex Exchange gives out it VX token as dividends to its customers do not mean the value will be strengthened. If anything, it will further weaken the price and force it down. Of all exchange tokens only the Binance coin has been able to remain strong and the highest price of $40+ at its peak. Others have not be able to go pass $10.
1617  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Quidli 🦑 | Offer Bitcoin as Company Perk on: March 26, 2020, 07:35:21 PM
What do you mean by the $$$ sign in your first sentence? That said, your promise of providing some extras as incentive for anyone subscribed to your services is a good one. But are there are evidence of those who have actually benefited from this or is it just another audio benefit without reality?
1618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LATOKEN, Probit, What else? on: March 26, 2020, 09:33:23 AM
After LATOKEN targeted by shit token/project to conduct an IEO, nowadays I see they glanced at PROBIT and hell yeah, that exchange become popular by shit project. I wonder who's the next exchange, lol
I do not see it as "targeted" as you have used the expression. It is a business arrangement and the owners and management of the exchanges you mentioned have a bargain with the teams of the said shit tokens before the IEO began. It is business. Again, the development you have pointed cuts across many exchanges, including the almighty Binance exchange.
1619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers don't trap victims with too good offers anymore on: March 25, 2020, 07:35:03 AM
It seems many scammers are now aware that people run away from too good to be real investment plans nowadays, now they are ready to give fair percentages too just like legit projects

It came to my attention today that many Nigerians fall victim to a crypto fund company in Nigeria where thy are promised 2% daily and 14% weekly, according to my source she never knew the offer was scam because the offer was fair enough, she made a big mistake to have invest a whooping thousand and half dollar in the project, to me this sounds like another MMM stuff but the returns are really fair, well there you have it, this is enough to confuse those who thinks fair returns means project is legit, you are damn wrong
The easy way to escape these MMM or Hyips type of investment is to check if they smell funny and then you avoid them at once. 2℅ daily return us too high. Banks do not even offer such a rate.
1620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto theft on: March 22, 2020, 05:20:25 PM
A woman was arrested in Bengaluru India for allegedly stealing 63bitcoins from Bitcipher Labs which is an exchange and she was a co founder to this exchange, that's over 470,000$, the fund was actually recovered but I wonder why all other crypto thefts and scammers aren't caught this easy.
Your question is simple to answer. She was caught because she was a co-founder of the exchange she stole from, and probably she is not a tech kind of person. Those who are vast in technology would mix the coins before sending it to a wallet. That way there will not be any trace left to track the theft.
