I agree with everyone, there should be some people set as mod that are trusted on the site. Since Crypto is rarely on, there is so much abuse and spam going on that even Jet's chathelper hasn't been able to get rid of all of it. Having some mods that are actively on the site will prevent this and make the site even better

at least to slow down spam they should put
that you can post ever 3 - 5 secs on chat that will slow down the spam
also a mod is needed...there are a lot of people that will be mods for free!

It might slow it down, but it still doesn't outright stop it. And adding a slow-mode to the chat slows regular conversation too, which would make things worse for people. Mods are the only solution I see to the problem
diggit is too much laggy since it's start, every time site go up and down,
chat is full of abuse by spammers, diggit need full time Mod there.
If no fulltime mod diggit can give user previledge to vote banning someone. Like in 999dice. But that woih few condition so not all user can give vote

A lot of spammers have multiple accounts so they could do ban votes and make things far worse. The conditions to vote would have to be pretty strict, and only certain people should have the privilege to call for ban votes (aka mods  Cheesy)

Hmm...

Heard of it from my brother who mined it back when you could make more than nothing from your personal computer  Roll Eyes
But I didn't get into it until a few years down when i decided to research it more heavily myself. Then I decided it was worth spending some money and time on and so far it's been amazing  Cheesy

So...

Your brother is rich now, or made a good amount of money..

Or did he sell it all back when it was worth next nothing and jumped off a bridge in december 2013?

He wasn't doing it THAT long ago. But at most I think he had 2btc from mining and sports betting, but he sold them off and hasn't shown any interest in it again aha

Your bother was doing it when the difficulty allowed for you to mine from a computer but only managed to make 2 btc?

That i some serious bad luck if you ask me.

OP i got in around a year ago when i was playing poker and a fellow poker player mentioned it in chat so i googled it researched for a few weeks and the rest is history Smiley

Meh, the difficulty wasn't really low enough to let him make too much from pooled mining. Also... don't make me mention what the GPU that he mined from was  Roll Eyes

UPDATE / ANNOUNCEMENT

Hi guys!

As promised, here is a quick update on what is going on behind the screen. As you know, I have had a down time period with the flu but I am getting better every day. This has however resulted in a couple of issues for you guys and I have tried to stay ahead of things as much as possible.

During the time I have realized a couple of things about the site. One important thing is that it is progressing faster than I expected (even without me really doing any advertisement at all), and I have decided to bring in a new team player. I have already got in touch with a person that I trust and previously worked with on a different project (which we decided to close due to the lack of profitabilty).

This guy is now our head developer and will be working on getting things back to normal. It will be a while before you guys see any changes though. His first task is to get familiar with the website script and functionality, as well as the coding style. Next up, he might decide to rewrite everything to make it cleaner.

Once these initial things are over, that's when the Market will come into focus. I was personally unable to come up with a proper solution for the fixing the bugs in the Market, and then he will get a go at it.

So what does this all mean for you guys? Well, other than having to wait a little while for the site to get back on the right tracks, not really much. I will still be here to answer all of your questions (starting tomorrow), and all of your lovely suggestions are still met with a warm greeting. Payouts will be handled quicker now though, and you will also see an increase in my response time here (unless I am sleeping that is). We will also move the server from Windows to Linux - hopefully that will fix this super annoying problem with mining stopping.

I will finally have time for planning proper advertisement and hopefully we will see a ton of new users. This also means that some point a server upgrade is needed. It is some time in the future though,  but both the change to Linux and the upgrade (if they don't happen at once) will most likely require at least a couple of hours if not a day to process. I will however announce everything here as per usual.

Also, as I promised earlier on, I will reply to ALL messages tomorrow (Monday) that required replies while I have been sick.

I have paid the transaction to Coinsplit now, and you should see dividends incoming soon.

Awesome work! Great to see you back and to see the way that the site has been growing this quickly. Looking forward to more updates with the new dev Cheesy
1610  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: In 2015, faucets are bad for bitcoin on: March 07, 2015, 07:30:23 PM
Meh, nobody can really expect to make anything from faucets anymore. They're mainly to let new people mess around with tiny amounts of bitcoin so they can get an idea of how it works

When I look at my coin count after walking around a while, it has increased. But when I press sync, it gets reverted back to the amount I started with. Does this mean that I've hit my daily mining limit?

Probably, Yes! I hit the 7 coinz daily limit almost everyday...since i do a lot of walking..

Ah okay, that's what I figured. It would be good if a little notification came up saying that you hit the coin limit, so you're not confused as to why you aren't gaining any coins

1614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XMG] Coin Magi | CPU mining | PoS-II | PoM | Unique BLK reward | [MagiPay] on: March 07, 2015, 01:15:08 AM

Why do we need this piece in the space?

1. FREE
As an appreciation to members who are fonder of Coin Magi, we present free charge to utilize the MagiPay service, despite you sell $1 or $1,000 goods.
- Merchants: no extra charge at all
- Customers: responsible for the trivial mining fee

2. Customize
MagiPay is uniquely designed for Coin Magi, independent of any other payment gateways. Custom requests will be sent to tailoring MagiPay functions.

3. Instant & Secure
No payments are held by our server. Funds are available to merchants upon 6 confirmations.

Schematic of MagiPay integration

Guide: https://www.m-epays.com/merchant_guide

1. Registration & create MagiPay box

Notice the callback URL has to be corresponding to the location of the file "magipay.callback.php" in the server (see below).

2. Magipay integration
1) Download merchant files: https://github.com/magipay/merchant, then place them in your server
2) Revise db_connect.php and magipay.keys.php (for details see https://www.m-epays.com/merchant_guide)
3) Run magipay.createtable.php through browser, example

4) Revise the following file to enable MagiPay pay option in online shop:
Notice the action upon receiving payment as highlighted.

3. Online purchase example
1) Checkout

2) Pay through Coin Magi wallet

3) Payment received

4) Payment transfered to local merchant's wallet

1. What else?
I'd say the current form of the MagiPay is basic. It enables one to create Coin Magi payment option and accept payment. It works but we should have more than that to do.

2. Plugins
User friendly plugins is a must. WooCommerce is one of important ones we're targeting at. To community members, please offer us plugins if you are able to do.

3. What do I do to integrate MagiPay in my online shop site?
Please follow the guide and be sure to ask us for help to set up MagiPay. Try out the example here by following the guide:  https://github.com/magipay/shop-example.

Make your site be notable in MagiWorld, as well as obtain XMG by selling items in addition to mining!

Enjoy The Magi!

Now THAT'S awesome!  Cheesy

update

I have come down with the flu, and will be putting this on standby until I get better.
However, I will fix whatever temporary issues may arise, and mining should be working again.

I hope to get better soon so I can get out of bed.

No I mean that I played a game, won, hit cash, the site froze, refreshed it and the game was active but I couldn't play it. It auto cashed after the countdown. I won but the winning was never creditet my account.

Crypto, i just played a game on diggit, won it but never received the win. I wouldn't care if it was just some bits but this was 0.3btc in bet 0.12 Btc in win.

U:sajklan just won 120,042.86 b ( G:2384110 )

what do you mean by never received the win? Do you mean that you cant make a withdrawal or the amount never credited into your account?

Sajklan is nice player there, his mean that he never withdraw from that because after winning he makes rain into players all of his winning.

I've had that happen to me too before, it really sucks  Undecided . Guess that's what comes with all the server issues the site has been having. Hopefully it'll be resolved though, with that large of a win
