Please educate yourself more on bitcoin related stiff, to use bitcoin for offline business we do not need physical/offline bitcoins. Business dealing alone may happen offline but the payment for that business deal may happen with regular bitcoin payments and about that type of scenario alone we are discussing here. So it is highly possible to deal on bitcoin payments based for any real time business. Only buyer and seller need to agree about going with bitcoin payments. Frankly speaking, you too know the difficulties of doing such a business. Transaction fees and confirmation delay agree the major ones. I would suggest not to do any business which will want you to sell your Bitcoins to the local Fiat. Holding bitcoins is more profitable than that actually. |

Cost of doing business just got high and that suggested 420 satoshis/byte you will be paying is to speed things up for you You don't have to pay it unless you want to join the waiting list which might take several hours for you and everyone else. It's not same all the time. Right now there are 197k+ unconfirmed transactions and as the popularity is increasing so is the traffic. I think it'll be 500satoshi/byte when Bitcoin price reaches 2k.
