1041  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When it will be secure trade BTC on: August 01, 2017, 06:01:18 PM
same as title, when i can restart to trade on main exchange?

Nothing official yet, but I think each exchange will start trading when they feel things have normalized and will announce it on their website. Ill wait a couple more days just to be sure.

I think it's better to keep yourself away from trading for a couple of days, just to make sure there will not be any hurdles in your transactions. Waiting for Bitcoin Cash's value to rise, with less hash rate it's hard to survive.
1042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you have $10 to invest? on: August 01, 2017, 05:46:41 PM
Search the market for yourself and buy one new altcoin every month which has less than 20 sat price. They have nothing to lose some eventually you'll end up making some profit at least.
1043  Local / India / Re: Karnataka minister will host a seminar to understand bitcoins on: August 01, 2017, 05:21:18 PM
It's definitely a good news for all the crypto lovers but we have seen similar statements from many of the state ministers from many state governments. I think Central government should think about it and increase the support towards cryptocurrencies.
1044  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Transgenders are not allowed to serve the military. on: August 01, 2017, 04:19:08 PM
If a person (no matter the sex) wants to fight and serve for his/her country it is totally fine and should be allowed. The transgender people have the same rights but should use the normal way of life in the army, toilets/showers for all.

In my opinion, toilets/showers or any other public places is not the same as a war zone. You need to be more than 100% in a war affected area so I feel it's a good decision with respect to country's defence, nothing against LGBT community.
1045  Economy / Services / Re: ★☆★ 777Coin Signature Campaign ★☆★ (Jr-Hero Accepted) on: August 01, 2017, 12:47:18 PM
Just got word from lightlord, funds should be in the escrow wallet soon (most likely after the fork, though).
Payments will be processed right after and we can resume the campaign once done.
I'll keep you guys updated.

There should be another way to contact him, we wait in the next few days.
I had reached out to absy last night, who had helped out in this case. Thanks for that, absy.

Nice to hear that. The fork will delay lots of regular transactions but it is good for the whole crypto community.
Thank you absy and manager Lutpin.
1046  Economy / Services / Re: ★☆★ 777Coin Signature Campaign ★☆★ (Jr-Hero Accepted) on: August 01, 2017, 09:05:32 AM
An update pls.
There is no update, no matter how hard you push for it.
I understand you're desperate because of the loan you'll have to pay, but that's not the way to go about it.

I had previously stated that I'm not going to go into a third round as long as the two previous rounds are still unpaid.
Lightlord has not provided any additional funds to cover the unpaid rounds yet.
As announced, this campaign is paused with that.
We'll either resume once I've been provided with sufficient funds, or end the campaign should this not happen in due time.

Thank you for the update manager Lutpin.
Personally, I feel lightlord may be busy in something that's why he's not able to be here. I will wait for the next update and continue to promote. No issues.
1047  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium Bitcoin Wallet on: August 01, 2017, 01:23:52 AM
Is it possible to use mycelium seed in electrum wallet to get BCC?
Only if you use the "Electron cash" wallet... as Electrum DOES NOT support BCC and Electrum dev does not support nor endorse ElectronCash wallet

When you create the wallet in "Electron", you will need to click the "Options" button when you enter your seed and specify that it is a BIP39 seed.

Thank you for that. Got confused with something but all clear now. Need to find a different device for electron cash, I hope it is trustworthy.
1048  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS]: It Is Now 1st August 00:00 UTC on: August 01, 2017, 01:20:08 AM

1049  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Sports Betting Telegram Group on: July 31, 2017, 06:58:56 PM
Open discussion about sports betting, all sports.
You can discuss your picks and follow the games live, bounce ideas off people.

It is not a tipping service.

http://telegrame.me/sportsbet Channel
https://t.me/sportsbetrules Channel Rules

I thought it was some kind of tipping service. So generally it is just a chat room for sports bettors? Anyway, I think it is still worth checking out as more knowledge won't hurt, it actually can help us more when we choose our bets. Looking forward to talking to everybody there, I hope there are some pro cappers enrolled there and they give out good tips still.

Most definitely, sometimes you can't have all the knowledge regarding a game and that half knowledge will make your decision wrong and there will be chances of you losing the bet. Will be joining group tomorrow. Thank you for the service.
1050  Local / India / Re: Bitcoin cash on: July 31, 2017, 06:52:29 PM
Indian exchanges are always busy in throwing mud of each other. No one has spoken a single word about it where as almost every international exchange have stated their decision.
1051  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium Bitcoin Wallet on: July 31, 2017, 06:46:45 PM
Using mycelium from quite some time now and I feel it is secured compared to other Android wallets. But what about Bitcoin Cash after segwit. Do you have any plan on supporting it or nothing.?
1052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [GUIDE] How to claim Bitcoin Cash on: July 31, 2017, 06:43:12 PM
What do you think of mycelium wallet.? And holding BCC for long term.?

i've never tried Mycelium so i can't say anything about it. check out its dedicated board and ask your questions there: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=231.0

as for holding, it is a speculation question. it is hard to answer. in short term BCC price will surely drop hard. and depending on "how hard" it may or may not be able to recover. we still don't know how much money they are willing to throw at it. the miners dedicating hashrate will surely lose a lot of money for a considerable amount of time. and a lot of other things to consider before saying anything about its future.
one thing is for sure, nobody is happy about it and it has so little support. and i will personally hold less than 5% of my reward because i have some plans for it (for testing some stuff)

Ok. Thank you for the explanation. I was thinking about November and BCC may get valuable at that point. Still not decided to hold or sell but seeing the support, it feels like selling them now is the better option.
1053  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who else thinks that in Russia there is no dictatorship? on: July 31, 2017, 06:11:23 PM
Well, banning some sites wouldn't hurt anyone but banning the VPN's would definitely anger many. It's not like the only thing we do using VPN is to access those websites. I think it's the forest step towards dictatorship.
1054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [GUIDE] How to claim Bitcoin Cash on: July 31, 2017, 05:17:14 PM
Good read, thanks.

I hold several altcoins on several exchanges. Say I sell my altcoins AFTER the split and then transfer the BTC received to a Bitcoin cash supported wallet... Will I then receive my equal share of Bitcoin cash?

NO. you'll receive equal amount of bitcoin cash for any amount of bitcoin that you have BEFORE the fork.

Thank you so much for all the details, it was actually needed as most of the new investors will not be thinking it in the secure way.
What do you think of mycelium wallet.? And holding BCC for long term.?
1055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your opinion about casinos that are making their own ICO`s. on: July 31, 2017, 04:50:54 PM
They are changing the way things are working, instead of accepting funds form the players they are releasing tokens and by doing so giving you a right to some of the earnings and also now you can trade and sell your tokens, personally I think it is a good idea.

Do you plan to participate in any of this ICO`s? Which one and why?
I see that people are not so interested in talking about this topic? I expected more people and comments, lack of both them tells me that people are not so interested in casino tokens. Maybe my topic is
in the wrong thread, they are making their own alt-coins, but this are bitcoin casinos, except DAO, and maybe I should post this thread in bitcoin service discussion, or announcement, or in gambling, I am
clueless, some help would be appreciated.
Bitdice is the one I’m 100% sure I’m going to participate, I do not know if the betking ICO is still ongoing but if it is and I have the money I’m going to invest there as well, why? Because those two are successful casinos, the bitdice casino is still going strong and has plans to add sports betting and poker which is only going to make the site even more popular and the token more valuable.

Will definitely invest in bitdice, because the owner in one of the most trustworthy person in the crypto world about he won't even think of scamming anyone. Betking and trueflip is good but my vote is for bitdice.
1056  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Superstition on: July 31, 2017, 04:12:17 PM
Yes, I do believe in superstition and it worked allot of times for me. There will be hints on the time of betting or gambling like small changes in the daily routine.
1057  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: July 31, 2017, 03:25:53 PM
It was a tough match for proteas from the first day, no wonder England won it with a big margin. I'm concentrating more on TNPL now, the odds are good and can be won easily if you know the players.
1058  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Swiss bank. What will be the next country? on: July 31, 2017, 09:43:33 AM
We do need this kind of services presently as lots of people having trouble keeping their cryptos online in the fear of hack. Hopefully they'll store them offline.
1059  Local / India / Re: Zebpay Bitcoin Transfer Fees Issue. on: July 30, 2017, 05:14:34 PM
I'm one of their customers from long time now but didn't know about this till now. I think it's better to tweet them once as I have seen them very active on Twitter.
1060  Local / India / Re: Co-founder of ZebPay Mahin Gupta on: July 30, 2017, 03:20:10 PM
There are some 10 people whose money is stuck in the mtgox. It's hard to trust any exchange nowadays as the price of Bitcoin increased more than anything. Let's see what is it's effects on Indian community.
