16021  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Concerning Binance.. I'm impressed! on: December 30, 2017, 06:58:33 AM
Binance is definitely doing great right now. Also with Binance having .1% trading fees[1] compared to Bittrex's .25% trading fees[2] is still quite significant for daytraders. Remember though, who's to say Binance will be shitty in the future? Bittrex also started out really really well, almost like how Binance is doing now, and Bittrex just simply slowly but surely became quite bad. Hoping the same won't happen to Binance.

16022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 is coming on: December 30, 2017, 03:20:33 AM
In my opinion we can go probably even 10x if everything goes well in 2018. Pretty much the only thing that's stopping this rise in price is probably regulations or pretty much any negative news and or FUD. Hoping for the best though, still hoping that McAfee is right about bitcoin being $1,000,000 in 2020[1], even though it's quite a stretch to think that.

16023  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance android app on: December 29, 2017, 06:02:49 PM
If I remember correctly, Galaxy S3's latest android version only goes up to Android 4.4 Kitkat, and you probably need at least Android Lollipop or Marshmallow to run the Binance app. So it's either you install a custom ROM on your S3 device(should be easy if you know how to follow instructions), or you buy a new phone.

Always remember this advice:

Any investment plan that promises returns, is either a ponzi or a scam. or both. This site is a perfect example of it:

Legitimate investments, like penny stocks or stocks in general, doesn't promise returns. There are always risks when talking about investing, even when investing in bitcoin or cryptocurrencies in general.
16025  Other / Archival / Re: Сharity in the crypto currency on: December 29, 2017, 03:53:10 PM
Yeah.. no. Not because you're a full member it doesn't mean you're already trustworthy. I'm really sorry if you're really planning on helping out though.

To the readers:
If you wanted to donate to charitable causes, check out the charities that PineappleFund has recently donated in: https://pineapplefund.org/#charities
It's not worth risking giving money to a stranger that we're not sure if we can actually trust.
16026  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to start achieving aims on here on: December 29, 2017, 10:48:40 AM
The goals of campaigns are to advertise their site/token/service through users that posts relevant and helpful replies. But checking your post history, unfortunately it doesn't look like you know much about bitcoin or cryptocurrencies in general, so it's very unlikely for you to be accepted in a campaign anyway if one we're to be open.

Also, focus on learning, and NOT making money.
I have a lot of plans for btc this coming year and as I also wish to make some money, I want to be great in life. Though have not been making money yet, but have strong my plan for bitcoin in 2018
If your main focus here in bitcointalk is to make money, then you're better off elsewhere.
16027  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BCH VS BTC FEES. on: December 29, 2017, 09:13:42 AM
I know people here hate BCH, but there's definitely something wrong. The wallet you're using is showing the wrong suggested fees. Disregarding other kinds of issues, BCH actually has small fees compared to BTC due to the bigger blocks and BCH's blockchain not being congested. What wallet are you using?

I was planning to make a small transaction of 50$ I was asked fees of 211$ by Bitcoin cash
A wallet would show fees in crypto-units, not dollars, so I'm curious which wallet you used. This is not what I've experienced with Bitcoin Cash: as much as I hate having to say it, the transactions I made were faster and much cheaper than Bitcoin.
Some wallets shows fees both in sats and in dollars. But mostly the suggested fee is not right, so custom fees are always recommended.
16028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: how to remove useless tokens from my ethe wallet on: December 29, 2017, 06:37:54 AM
I'm pretty sure the only way you can get rid of them is to send them to some other random ethereum address, or probably create an ethereum wallet whereas you just throw all your useless and unwanted tokens there.

or probably throw your tokens on this website: https://uetoken.com  just for fun lol
16029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCX surpass BtC? on: December 29, 2017, 04:10:30 AM
Nope. Not even close. Sure, their advantages sounds good. But behind all those advantages there are lots of long term negative side effects.
I know people hate it, but if I we're to look for a decent competitor to bitcoin, it would be BitcoinCash(BCH). Will it surpass BTC? Very unlikely. But it still has a chance compared to BitcoinX in my opinion.
16030  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price drops $200 after new ruling from Chinese regulators on: December 29, 2017, 03:44:14 AM
Today Bitcoin price drops $200 after new ruling from Chinese regulators.

Correct me if I'm wrong. but Maybe you meant South Korea? Not China?

For those wondering, it's about South Korea being against anonymous accounts on exchanges, to counter money laundering activities.

16031  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: USI Tech on: December 28, 2017, 03:14:34 PM
Keep away from those sites. The best legitimate way to get BTC is to simply buy it. That's it. Bitcoin is a currency, you just can't join some "investment opportunity" and get easy money without doing much.

lol nope
16032  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Trading Site on: December 28, 2017, 01:37:39 PM
Why not just try out multiple exchanges and decide for yourself? Each person has their own preferences. Some wan't better graph UI, some want more coin support, etc. Try em all out, then stick to the one exchange that you feel comfortable using.

16033  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Would you recommend this method to earn? on: December 28, 2017, 01:34:43 PM
1. put some money into a crypto. e.g. ETHEREAL

You meant Ethereum, right?

Sure, it is a valid method. Sounds simple right? But how are you going to know when to buy and when to sell? If you don't know what you're doing, you're definitely going to have some losses.
16034  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is scam, Blockchain.info wallet are rippers and scammers. on: December 28, 2017, 03:18:20 AM
I've been using bitcoin since 2011.

Blockchain.info won't acknowledge problem, when it is their wallet that ask for that stupid fee and claim to get confirmed in 1hour, 1 hour is not 2 week co*k suc kers!!!!!!!!!! Blockchain.info won't refund my money, won't cancel the transaction or make it expire so I can send with a higher fee.

bitcoin is a scam network and blockchain.info are rippers, scammers and thiefs who have no fcking clue on how to operate a wallet containing other people's money.
It doesn't look like you've been using bitcoin since 2011 mate. You clearly don't know what you're talking about. Refund? Cancel the transaction? Make it expire? LOL. It's not their fault as you chose your own fee. Transactions can't be canceled. Transactions cannot be "expired".

16035  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best time to day trade? How to create a trading schedule in a 24/7 crypto market on: December 28, 2017, 03:08:04 AM
What are the best times to day trade crypto? It differs from person to person. Some prefers to trade more when exchanges are somewhat being flooded by buy and sell offers; some prefers to trade more when the listings are somewhat calm, probably late at night on a dominant timezone.

Or how do I develop a schedule around a 24 hour market place? Again, it differs from person to person. Just test things out and trade a couple of hours a day, and stick with a schedule you're more comfortable with.
16036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit2x....what the hell does this mean? on: December 28, 2017, 03:01:26 AM
i dont think you will get free B2X on your hard wallet, you have to keep your BTC on exchanges which are supporting B2X like Yobit.

No you don't. Whatever wallet you're using, you just need to import your bitcoin's private keys to a legitimate Segwit2x wallet to have access to your forked coins.

Also, Ledger will provide access to the forked coins if the code base is available as they said.

16037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit2x....what the hell does this mean? on: December 28, 2017, 02:53:21 AM
The new Segwit2x team's plan is to take out Satoshi Nakamoto's bitcoins and spread it out to bitcoin holders probably by percentage depending on how much bitcoin is in each's wallet. So yes, you will end up having more Segwit2x coins than your bitcoin(BTC).
16038  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What happens to your fiat balance if a bitcoin exchange gets hacked? on: December 28, 2017, 02:43:21 AM
I'm pretty sure it completely depends on how careful the exchange stores their data. If the exchange's security sucks, and you have your credit card info on your account, then they could probably use your funds to buy bitcoin and send em out to the hacker's wallet.

it depends on the exchange. for example, coinbase insures its digital currency and fiat is FDIC insured for US residents

https://support.coinbase.com/customer/portal/articles/1662379-how-is-coinbase-insured-

This is precisely why it is good to stick to the biggest exchanges. They are mostly the safest choice. Gemini, Bitstamp, and Coinbase/GDAX are good choices imo. For alts, binance has risen in popularity recently.
Coinbase is good, sure, but always remember to not store big amounts of bitcoin/eth/ltc on Coinbase.
16039  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Is freewallet.org good? on: December 28, 2017, 12:46:41 AM
I wouldn't use them. There are multiple supports of people losing their funds and supposedly getting scammed. And since you don't control your private keys, I wouldn't be surprised if that was true. Why even risk your coins by giving them to someone who has full access to your coins and can take them whenever they want?

If you get your coins back, do yourself a favor and create a safe wallet.

OMG!! Then, I'm screwed. Have contacted their support in regard to this, let me see if I'm lucky enough to get back my coins. Thanks for the suggestion @TryNinja, will transfer to a safe wallet if I receive it. Feels disappointed though. Should have done some scrutiny.

First off, even with any kind of wallet, they can't help you speed up your transactions or get your bitcoin back if you've already sent it. Just get your funds out asap.

16040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit2x Tomorrow - will this reduce Bitcoin fees or will have no impact? on: December 27, 2017, 04:52:02 AM
Segwit2x is a hardfork. Pretty much has no impact to the main bitcoin chain in terms of fees.
