16141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A few tips to increase the anonymity of your BTC transactions on: May 27, 2015, 08:01:56 PM
Send btc to exchange1 --> buy ltc --> send ltc to exchange 2 --> buy btc with ltc -)> btc cannot be traced.

Or am I missing something? Seems safer and cheaper than a mixer.

the owner of the exchange can still track you in any case, there is also the risk of losing some money in this process
16142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What CAN I do personally to help Bitcoin along it's way? on: May 27, 2015, 07:07:07 PM
spread your love about to every one you know not always your best friends or their friends but through internet mostly, with your blog/facebook or youtube they are great for propaganda
16143  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Would day trading on itBit be a good idea? on: May 27, 2015, 07:00:18 PM
is this a new exchange? never heard of it, it look alright, nothing fishy, the front is professional, but if it is like bitstamp that they require id even for tiny amount, then tnx but no tnx
16144  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Could someone be bypassing the ip block on faucets ? on: May 27, 2015, 06:37:56 PM
You can use Tor browser to change ip does if they miss these ip. Or additions to the browser chrome "Hola". I did a faucet.

it doesn't work i tried all of them with freebitcoin ico(they have a proxy checker i think it was expected from the most known faucet), for there st it work if you use browser proxy like dotvpn or browsec

Yeah i know, i tried a bunch of those methods myself and they dont work. You saying that dotvpk or browsec works? You tried them on freebitco.in? Are they browsers? I need more details

no they don't work either, but they work with others faucet like alien faucet, they just google extention, search for DOTvpn and Browsec
16145  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What i do if i lost wallet password on: May 27, 2015, 06:17:41 PM
ok let see my private key if i have not private key then

if you dont have your private key you dont have backups

he have the whole wallet backuped, which is better than having simply the private key

but now a question has come to my mind, it is possible to retrieve the private key if you have the wallet only? i mean without using the client

well one could simply advise, to buy i filter, they should be cheap enough, but it depend on how big are your optional fans and how many they are or if you are just using a tube(from which the air goes outside with a big ventilator) to keep the room cool, you could apply a filter there
16149  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin wallet on: May 27, 2015, 04:25:28 PM
Hi guys, I am Newbie, I need bitcoin wallet could you recommend me best bitcoin wallet?
I use android smartphone and laptop(windows7)
I think blockchain.info but I've not decided yet.

for androind it is called just bitcoin, it was in the top5 best wallet, and it was classified as the best wallet among those 5

for your laptop multibit is quite easy to setup, but i prefer core to be honest, blockchain online wallet is good enough if you can handle the security aspect
16150  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best place to sell digital goods other than this forum? on: May 27, 2015, 04:22:14 PM
Litecointalk is dead. If you can't sell your things here then you certainly wont over there.

i used it for buying once, last year(so not long time ago) and there were many deals(i was searching for a open alluminium case), so unless is dead recently, it was still working good

and when bitcointalk was down(those days) someone contacted me for another offer, so no i don't think it is dead, there is just less traffic....

No, it really is dead. The entire forum is much like Litecoin itself. Check it out https://litecointalk.org/index.php?board=7.0

Barely anybody ever posts and those that do don't really get a response.

well i don't know, but it look like still alive there are plenty of new thread created, maybe it was because this site went down....
16151  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is difference between Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin and NXT? on: May 27, 2015, 04:20:57 PM
from a price point of view bitcoin feel more secure, it is also more secure from network pow, because there is more hashpower, and thus less chances that the network could be compromised by 51%

nxt is a sort of pos coin not really falling in the others categories
16152  Economy / Speculation / Re: Big crash tomorrow! on: May 27, 2015, 01:44:05 PM
Price to go to Big Zero. By end of the year. Tomorrow's crash is a part of the long decline in bitcoin. Why do I think bitcoin will go to zero? Because of the unsustainable distribution of the coins; think about it, 1% of the users control 99% of the existing bitcoins. Do you really think it's democratic and de-centralized? Bitcoin, as it is currently, violates the very tenet of its creation. It's not going to survive, its long term viability is at stake. I'd venture to speculate that bitcoin's days are numbered at this point in time. A storm is brewing and it will swallow those of us who are not ready.

then why it didn't go to zero back then(it's not like bitcoin was born today) they were predicting the 1k peak? or because you are farting bullshit?

the only reason why we are facing this down trend is because the previous high price was unsustainable
16153  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: SolarTeslaMiner on: May 27, 2015, 01:12:57 PM
there is only antminer s4 which is not exactly the best, it's a bit worse than a s5, but seeing how 1 can do more tera hash, it is better for density, in theory you can fit more hash power in the same room with those

Thanks reply , cause I want closed circuit the power efficiency is importend

S4 has Power Efficiency: 0.58 J/GH (at the wall)

S5 has Power Efficiency: 0.51 J/GH (at the wall) batch 5

or is that irrelevant ?

I actually was referring to the s5 batch 6 where I can only find the bulk price atm

then stay with your current s5, they are the best in terms of efficiency, also with one 1500 corsair psu you can power two s5 very well not so much with a s4, it would be too tight(1400 needed vs 1500), it would stress too much the psu
16154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many friends did you recommend bitcoin to? Did they accept it? on: May 27, 2015, 01:01:29 PM
99.99% of people in my country don't know what Bitcoin and don't even use Electronic payment such as Payza , Paypal or even Debit & Credit cards . However I was to convince one of my schoolmates at school because he know about those things , and he started with faucets as start he didn't like it at the beggining but then started doing his programming services for BTC and with time he liked it Grin I know one is not that much but well ...

how they receive money then? cash only from their boss? it look like money laundering, i can understand not using something like paypal, but debit card should be everywhere already...
16155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A few tips to increase the anonymity of your BTC transactions on: May 27, 2015, 11:57:35 AM
mixers aren't necessary(and i don't trust them) you can use a proxy as a node instead, and play with the ramification process of addresses, or use anon altcoin or just mine your coin, there are multiple way..

there should be a option that let you choose from which address you want to send your coins...

couldn't you just use a faucet? they are good for this kind of thing, they are not really useless after all...
16158  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: "Public Note" on blockchain? on: May 27, 2015, 11:41:09 AM
It's a blockchain.info thing as far as I know , since I didn't see it somewhere else .
"Public notes are embeddable short messages during the transaction. An example of a public note can be seen below"
"You can embed a public note when doing a transaction with Blockchain.info. Simply input your message in the column below when sending a transaction."
CHeck the link below for more informations (screeshots included) : https://blockchain.info/fr/wallet/website-faq

Oh I see, thanks. The message service is only accessible to blockchain.info wallets. I guess that means the message must have come from OKcoin. Still a bit creepy to me, I dont want random people sending to my address. Why would Okcoin I wonder?

there are many reasons, one could be that they want you to trade on their platform, others do this because they are running ponzi, and it is a much better way to advertise their scam, than posting with random newbie user on any forum relate to bitcoin

this is the new frontier of adv

16160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there an actual Bitcoin bank yet? on: May 27, 2015, 10:17:15 AM
One question: why? Why you need any bank?

it's obvious that you need it because they can issue your debit/credit card, or do you get those from terrorist or narcotraffic
