1621  Economy / Gambling / Re: SafeDICE.com ★ Bitcoin Dice ★ Monero ★ 0.5% Edge ★ Fast Cashout ★ Since 2014 on: November 10, 2018, 05:10:02 PM
This thread has been created back in Nov 2014, so its basically 4 years old. Alot could change in 4 years.

My guess is back in 2014, the admin was single and now he most likely is married with 2 kids and doesn't have the free time anymore for this site. From the discussions here, he isn't scamming anyone, just makes you wait a very long time to get your withdraw to get sent.

This reminds me of a vehicle a friend of mine has bought, he bought a vehicle with a bad transmission and it actually came with a replacement transmission with the deal. The guy asked why don't you just install the new transmission and sell it that way, and he said he had a bunch of kids and has virtually no free time anymore.

So this is my guess what is going on with the admin.

So you are saying that 7months of inactivity of site owner where no one knows exactly what situation he is currently in (dead or alive), can't even open bitcointalk.org on his browser's URL bar is just busy with family? If he is the president of the United States I would understand he can't get online for months but in this case I'm pretty sure its not just because of his/her family
I agree. if 7 month of activity, just give balances back and close site!! Now BCH and XMR have deposit withdrawal issue, and no one ever know if we will get solved or not.
I have 4xmr and 0.25 bch sent for deposit, and never credited to balance. I have lost hope, I do not think I will get my coins, not for a long time Sad
Why would you even deposit to this dead site anyways ? Its pretty clear that its a waste of money sending anything there
i and many others use this site all the time it only stop working recently.

I remember it having problems for several months now, recently how?
and a vehicle and a gambling site are two totally different cases, in that case the deal was pretty transparent
but here the site is in limbo, it is up but the withdrawals are not processed for days if not weeks or months
if the owner has no time, he should take the site down or at least disable deposits
but you guys must read the topic before depositing, things change and even if a gambling site was great a year ago
I would always recheck coming back after such a long time to see if everything is ok

1622  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: I sell three accounts BETFAIR with money on: November 10, 2018, 04:02:31 PM
Hello.I sell three accounts BETFAIR with money(170,160,180 Euros). I can not withdraw money from these accounts. But all is working(exchange, sportsbook, poker). Offer your price. My email: petcarey22@gmail.com

so you got 170 million euros in Betfair accounts and a brand new bitcointalk account :-). something interesting.

Edit: I think this is the wrong section. maybe you should post this in digital-goods section.

no, think you read it wrong:
he has three separate accounts with 160-170-180 euros each which he cannot withdraw
the accounts are definitely no use and are flagged at best, but you can try and test your betting strats if he is selling them for, say 5 euros
and yes this belongs to digital goods

How can people believe in this kind of scheme? if someone did that kind of scheme then that person would be running a ponzi scheme, and I doubt any celebrity or anyone famous would do such a thing. Then I ask the same question again: why the hell do people fall into scams like these? The only answer that comes in my head is: greed

totally agree I call it stupidity tax
if you fail to pass the IQ test online in a form of falling for this , then it is your problem
the only thing that seems unreal is the sum on one of the btc accounts, it is over 26 btc in total
I know some people are dumb, but they cannot be THAT dumb
seriously, even if it were 1000 people , each of them should have sent 180$
1624  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-09]SEC fines the owner of decentralized cryptocurrency exchange EtherDe on: November 10, 2018, 03:12:03 PM
It is hard to control altcoin exchange markets comparing to bitcoin...
EtherDelta is one of the most important place to deal with cryptocurrencies although it has some security issues, that's why the SEC started with it tho. We will see what will happen next.

EtherDelta is decentralized , they are starting a crackdown or a witch hunt, depending on the point of view
have been after ICO's and should have continued that road, since there are like 80% of potential scams there
what surprises me that Zachary Coburn agreed to pay the settlement
probably 338k$ is small change to him and it is better that way, but it creates a precendent and could end up badly for all the exchanges out there

good stuff! finally Bitsler is supported, but do you have the green light from Baryom
it wasn't clear from Bitsler's official topic here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1268718.0
maybe they are scrutinizing the code as well or checking something else
in any case I will wait for Baryom's or any other Bitsler's admin approval to try it out
keep up the good work , hope the list of supported sites grows weekly
1626  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam website. on: November 09, 2018, 07:09:22 PM
Right, so going to ask a few questions with those who think that they have knowledge go ahead and put answers down.

I have bet with a certain website for over 2 years now, they do not accept UK residents and I have bet there. They accepted my UK IP to accept bets over £500,000 via btc.

They have not once ask me for verification because I am in so much loss to them.

Should this be taken to court and my money be given back since KYC regulations say you need to be ID verified once you hit around 1300 in euros...

Much more to come on this. Let the answers begin

from a common sense standpoint and logics- no
you might find a shrewd paralegal to screw you out of even more money promising to win the case
but trust me the chances of it are close to zero
you broke their TOS and want your money back ,sound like a legit reason .... NOT
I understand you are upset and 500.000 pounds is not some small change, but realistically, there is no way in hell you will get your money back

The Road runner Challenge!
Ends: 12/11/18 @ Midday (12pm) GMT

BEEP, BEEP!
Wile E. Coyote has been quite persistent this week attempting to grab the Road runner. Our speedy bird will have to be super fast, finding the escape way (from left to right) several times. If you want to help our Road runner to get away, just adjust your multiplier precisely to 3x (that's the speed limit) and alternate between under and over 6 times. Those bets must be consecutive and winning ones, of course!

All players who achieve the challenge in the next days, will get a share in the prize pool! There is no limit to the amount of winners, and the more players who get involved the higher the prize pool!

Requirement

Make 6 consecutive, winning bets while alternating between under and over at 3x payout. The streak should start from the left side.
    Minimum bet:
        0.00000100 BTC
        0.00001200 BCH
        0.00003100 ETH
        0.00012000 LTC
        1.75000000 DOGE
    1 valid entry per household.
Bets cannot be hidden during the whole duration of the promotion.
Bets must have been made after the commencement of this promotion.
    10+ forum post count.

Prize Pool(s):

    Minimum prize pool: 0.01 BTC
If over 30 participants: 0.03 BTC
If over 40 participants: 0.05 BTC
If over 50 participants: 0.08 BTC

How to Enter
Respond to this topic, and link your bet ID using the link function in the text editor.
Post a screenshot of your winning streak.

(Paste your bet id, then highlight and click on the link bet button, as shown in image below)

a cool challenge, not too clear from the picture if the roadrunner is running or farting though
must be running, never mind  Cheesy

1630  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you hear about Bitcoin (From Ponzi to Cryptocurrency) on: November 09, 2018, 02:21:33 PM
I saw Bitcoin in an advertisement in Facebook. I got curious and do a little research. Although Bitcoin is a legitimate cryptocurrency it was used as means of payment by High Yield Investment Program (HIYP). I was scammed and did a thorough research and discovered my mistakes.

at least HYIPs are good for something, it turns out- somepeople discover bitcoins and cryptocurrencies through them
good thing you didn't get frustrated and disappointed and read more about bitcoins and returned
stronger, more informed and , hopefully, smarter to not to participate in ponzi programmes anymore
think the only time I entered a ponzi was when there was this cloud mining baby boom
just test deposited 10$ worth of coins and the thing closed in a 2 weeks time - so it was a very cheap antidote for me
1631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto oasis in California on: November 09, 2018, 01:40:33 PM
mecca, probably not but it may help to get some certain areas of business get permits easier
you have to realise that its a system ,one person, if its a governor is just a part of a huge mechanism
it doesn't mean that if a governor plays or likes chess there will be chess clubs times 10 in the area Smiley
same goes for crypto and cryptoenthusiasts with power
but the tendency is good and lets all hope that more open minded and crypto oriented people get elected all over the world
and bitcoin is worth 10000000 $ by that time  Grin

does it possible to download the apk from an official source?
im using bluestacks and cant download thru google store

I use Blue Stacks sometimes and I can just download it from Google Play. Blue Stacks has this possibility.

yes I can confirm it, I launched it through Blue Stacks and downloaded it from Google play
but in order to run it you have to tick "beta" in Blue stacks options or the game won't launch
at least it hadn't for me till I did that
1633  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dice-Bet 🎲 0.7% Edge | Wagering Competition | BTC, LTC, ETH | Play or Invest 🎲 on: November 07, 2018, 09:21:45 PM
wagering requirement to withdraw a prize from a wagering competition sounds like an oxymoron to me
definitely a no go , unless you are some 3rd sort shady site
there must be enough people to make the competition pay for itself for the site
just look at the top spot, think he has already paid for all the prizes combined at the moment, sadly for him
1634  Economy / Gambling / Re: Lordmancer II - an MMORPG where you can earn crypto on: November 07, 2018, 06:04:29 PM

I gave you a Merit for this constructive answer, because it adds value to the conversation. I asked my kid to try it and it was a huge struggle for him to get started with this as a newbie. A MMORPG game should have a lot of tutorials and videos to explain the basics and I had to help him with most of the knowledge I had of MMORPG experience I earned over years of playing it.

He had the same goal, " Earn Crypto currency while playing your favourite game. " and he received no joy, after playing it for 2 weeks. So he just gave up.  Sad

What was the reason that he received no joy? Was it because of tutorial absence?

He said the learning curve was too difficult and the gap between high and low level players was too big. The game also had little opportunity to earn some money, because the activity was too low. <not enough people to trade with>

He is also playing other games from https://plarium.com/ ..so he is used to games with a massive user base and a lot of activity and also very good tutorials. Tongue

I doubt if you can do something about the activity, but I know you can do something about the tutorials.  Wink

there are many things that can be done to increase activity-you need more exposure and a larger playerbase
for that you have to spend money on advertising and marketing: more players means the whole system will work as it was supposed to
including market, ingame items sales and more ,mind you, the game is new, there are no level 60 players in game just yet
and you can get to level 20 in a day or two! after that, if you play a couple of hours a day you can level up 1 level a day no problem
but I agree  that the learning curve is pretty steep, there are many things  that are not very obvious but there come.... yes, tutorials Smiley hopefully soon
there is one new video covering the basics , maybe there will be more soon
1635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you hear about Bitcoin (From Ponzi to Cryptocurrency) on: November 06, 2018, 06:07:22 PM
An old random post on a forum that I was checking out in early 2011. I mined a bit on my laptop (had a gpu) on slushes pool and forgot about it. Got back into it about 6 months later.

exactly the same for me Smiley I read a post on a forum
and then mined some on a GPU and forgot about it, only to get back in a year or so
there was also a  standalone programme that mined bitcoins and offered ingame online money in return for some forgotten now game
so then I read more about it and finally found bitcointalk-the best source of information about bitcoins for me then and now
there was gpu mining of a coin per day, getting scammed by 50btc pool in between and many more interesting and not so interesting things
1636  Economy / Gambling / Re: AlteCarlo.com - online cryptocurrency casino for Altcoins on: November 06, 2018, 05:52:51 PM
Hello World!

We are a new cryptocurrency casino dedicated to Altcoins.  We are gearing up for our launch soon and are now allowing users to create accounts.

  https://twitter.com/altecarlo/status/1057327785377710080

Sorry, our service is not available to residents of the United States.

  https://www.altecarlo.com

I do not see that your site is already active yet, or should we enter our email just to see how your games going? Because new players like me really want to enjoy some views of your site first before we really depositing our money into it. May be you can get some screenshot and you can post it here to make it a better view for players

From the front page, this is really attractive as usual but not see the game yet, so I cant really give some reviews on, may be in a couple of days I will test it and gives the review

It is clear that the site is not officially launched, thats why the owner offers subscription for those who want to be informed once the site is launched. Hopefully it will be a nice site to play, but I do think that they should not focus only on altcoins. Bitcoin is still the most used coin in this crypto gambling industry IMO. So having no bitcoin might not be a good decision.

Thank you for the feedback!  We acknowledge that BTC is by far and away the biggest coin on earth.  However, we are seeking to fill a niche market in the crypto casino space.  Our vision is that after starting with Vertcoin, we can have altcoin evangelists suggest their favorite coin which we will then work to add.

you would be better off with starting with etherium or litecoin instead, they are the staple altcoins to start with
you can go for vertcoin too, just as you say, to fill the niche
but to be considered a solid casino wth multicurrencies, again you can be a top casino for a single coin only if you entered the market first and you are good
but if you plan to be a multicurrency casino-start with ltc or eth and add doge and bch, these are the most popular ones by far
there are many more altcoins to consider, but that would require a proper marketing research and there is always this risk
of introducing a coin and it won't be any popular
in any case, will have a peek at your place when you open, good luck with your business!
1637  Economy / Gambling / Re: Lordmancer II - an MMORPG where you can earn crypto on: November 06, 2018, 04:18:56 PM
I am a fan of MMORPG games, but it will be better if there is a Windows version available. So are you guys planning to make this game available for all the platforms are there or just mobile devices? Anyway, I love the mobile version and it is not actually a very graphic intense game so it even Runs smooth which is a good thing for me. I appreciate your hard work and I loved the concept.

you can play the game on the PC  using Android emulators
I tried NOX and Blue stacks emulator for android
while NOX is my favourite, it doesn't support the game-says wrong device
Blue stacks works , bit you have to tweak the settings a bit to get it to work, if I'm not lazy, I will post a guide on how to launch this game on Blue stacks
I might play around with different devices on  NOX as well to try and find the one that supports it

I have different traffic sources, mainly crypto related whitelists ,mailing lists and forum databases ( earn forums, investments forums, bitcoin forums etc.)
also hundreds of thousands of credits on traffic exchanges and PTC sites that can be used and several blogs

1639  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-10-29] Minor Crypto Exchange Pulls Off Exit Scam, Steals All User Funds on: November 06, 2018, 03:53:24 PM
Where do people find exchanges like this? Why do they choose to trust them?

I could understand someone dabbling with a totally unknown quantity in 2011 when everything was crap. In this day and age it makes no sense

no idea, really why would one search troubles for his hiney is beyond me
not that the big ones won't scam you, but at least the chances are way lower
plus some of the smaller exchanges do not even have enough pairs or offer low fee
think it is just good old human laziness, you find one exchange and then do not bother to look for other options
1640  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-10-29] Minor Crypto Exchange Pulls Off Exit Scam, Steals All User Funds on: November 05, 2018, 07:45:36 PM
the good old hack story , I thought the times when the sites would just close
citing a hacker's attack or DDOS and run with the user's money are gone, seems  like the answer is a no
small exchanges ,usually, cannot afford good security , its true , but in this case it sounds like an exit scam indeed
they won't be able to refund their customers anyway since even if they somehow , magically reopen, you would have to be a retard to
trust your money to them again, so yeah stay away from small exchanges and do not trust the big ones either
its a pain in the neck to withdraw your funds back and forth, but its better than to lose them all one beautiful day
