1621  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin better or paypal? on: June 04, 2016, 01:44:25 AM
In my view both of them are good place to store and to invest your money in,but in terms of risk and earning i think bitcoin is still better than paypal.Unlike paypal bitcoin doesbt have big tax or big transaction fees unlike paypal that have big tax per transaction. And in bitcoin you can grow your money by just storing it on bitcoin wallets online because bitcoin is still rising up

every thing have plus and minus, bitcoin fee very cheap, also no people can freeze your accoun, no people can touch your money, but if you get scaming, no people can refund your money.
1622  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: June 04, 2016, 01:42:31 AM
I think this is not worth my job at all, I have a good job so I honestly right now would never consider this.
Maybe if the bitcoin is a lot bigger that I would maybe do this...

if your salary enough to your life and saving, I Recomended to still use bitcoin as sidejob and use your salary to buy it as investment too.
1623  Bitcoin / Press / [2016-06-4]Industry Heads Convene to Talk Public Blockchains on a Private Island on: June 04, 2016, 01:26:33 AM
Blockchain Summit 2016 is here. From June 4th through June 7th many thought leaders of blockchain tech will converge on Sir Richard Branson’s Necker Island. No doubt idea exchange will be flowing. So too will the irony that the future of blockchain, a tech that is defined by enabling trustless exchange, is being discussed on a private island.

Summer is a great season. Sun, surf, longer days…all of which sum to a wink and a nod that it is ok to kick back perhaps just a bit more than usual. Those of us in tech get excited for another reason. Summer also brings with it the annual Blockchain Summit, truly a banner event in the crypto/ blockchain space. Last year’s event was attended by 37 industry heavyweights, but received some criticism for the lack of diversity in attendees as only 1 woman was in attendance. The attendance list this year includes a headcount of 40, folks ranging from former PM’s to engineers and of course the veteran blockchain elite and boasts a more varied crowd.

1624  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I believe in Bitcoin ? on: June 03, 2016, 04:23:58 PM
Yes you should and you must believe on bitcoin and its network and its potential.Bitcoin is online from 7 years now,and it keeps on going strong and developing.Bitcoin price start from deep and cheap price but now you can see it.Trust bitcoin and its potential to change the words currency.

Yes in all aspects of bitcoin, you must believe because we don't have something to do but believing it and keep on supporting it by using it.
And for 7 years bitcoin has gone far from its small beginnings because of those pioneers who believe it and it reached it to us today.
And the popularity of bitcoin is because of it.
It seems that recent rising of pricing could cause that trust and belief believe on bitcoin can increase a lot and the comments approve this assumption.

the strong price make more investor comes just for "buy and sell it for short plan" , im sure after block halving , then the price failling people who lose in bitcoin trade will be says "BITCOIN IS SCAM"  Roll Eyes Cheesy Cheesy
1625  Bitcoin / Press / [2016-06-03] OpenBazaar Developers Fix Man-in-the-middle Attack Vector on: June 03, 2016, 04:17:07 PM
OpenBazaar Man-in-the-middle Attack

To put this into perspective, a malicious JSON update reply could trick OpenBazaar users into downloading a fake payload. If the platform conducting the update does not enforce code signing, a hacker would theoretically be able to execute remote code. If that were to be the case, it is impossible to predict what the consequences may be.

The issue was initially reported on the OpenBazaar GitHub a few days ago. The person responsible for discovering this flaw also wrote a very simple script that could exploit this opportunity. As it turns out, it would not take an assailant much effort to pull off a man-in-the-middle attack during the update process.

What is even more disconcerting is how this exploit can be used on every operating system and platform, albeit it was only tested on OS X 10.11.4 so far. It also does not matter what hardware is used to run OpenBazaar, as this is a software-side exploit that works in the same manner for every device. Moreover, this vulnerability can always be reproduced, and the OpenBazaar developers have issued a hotfix earlier today.

1631  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: June 03, 2016, 02:17:19 PM
I am also waiting for the price to drop as we can see now a lot of investors buy BTC because of their speculations that price will rise because of halving, but those buying are actually the reason for price hike, I will wait after halving if there are any price decrease I will buy, If there aren't I will still buy as if the price didn't fall back after halving then I think the price will continue to rise.

why you not buying bitcoin now ?
i think you can take some profit with hold it Smiley
the block halving will come soon, so you can sell your bitcoin at highest price then buy back after halving, after hard dump.
1632  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you buy Bitcoins? on: June 03, 2016, 02:14:31 PM

1633  Bitcoin / Press / [2016-06-03] Colbitex to Launch First Bitcoin Exchange in Colombia on: June 03, 2016, 02:11:12 PM
Colbitex, Colombia’s first Bitcoin exchange has launched its platform in testnet mode on June 3, 2016, to provide Colombians a simple and efficient method of exchanging Bitcoin to local pesos.

One of the startup’s main focus in developing an established and robust Bitcoin exchange in the region is to help Colombians familiarize with Bitcoin, and fully understand the benefits of using it to settle both international and local transactions.

As of now, the Testnet version of the Colbitex Bitcoin exchange platform is not able to handle transactions and settlement of orders. However, the company intends to release a beta version of the platform in the near future – possibly in June – which will allow Colombian users to trade Bitcoin to Colombian pesos with ease.

1635  Bitcoin / Press / [2016-06-03] Bitcoin Price Finds Stability After Massive Bull Rally on: June 03, 2016, 09:28:12 AM
Will the Price Stay Flat at $530?

Will the currency continue to rise in the coming days? It’s hard to say, exactly. Bitcoin is certainly on the rise. This past week has shown that, but a pause seems to be occurring in what can be called the Bitcoin assembly line.

As several sites and platforms reiterate, there appear to be three major things influencing the price of bitcoin, all of which we’ve covered in previous segments, so this won’t be news to regular readers.

The first is the halving set to occur next month. There’s not much else to say that hasn’t already been explained. Production on bitcoin is slated to be cut in half beginning in July. There will be fewer transactions, and the value is expected to spike.

1638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should I do to get bitcoins? on: June 03, 2016, 08:57:19 AM
If you are newbie or getting started in bitcoin (like me) i will suggest to gain some small amount of bitcoin from faucets as many as you can and if you think it's enough, try investing it to HYIPs because even though there is a high risk of getting scam, its one of the best choice to grow you bitcoins but remember invest your bitcoin as early as you can because now a days the HYIPs are getting smarter and if they get the target amount of bitcoin they will stop paying to there investors.
its ok but i think if you newbe you should wait tell you become a jr member the you can join such campaign which accept jr members. from where you can start your journy to get bitcoin. after getting a good amount you can do other transection lrelated to bitcoin]

for newbie, faucet is very good idea, to know how bitcoin work, but i suggest you to start learning about bitcoin trading and bitcoin mining, you can start trading with capital 100ksatosi, then if you have big capital you have more experience with small amount and now you can double your money.

1640  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I've got $20k to invest. Please recommend! on: June 03, 2016, 08:51:15 AM
Hey folks,

I've finally got around $20k to invest in long-term. No, unfortunately I cannot put this on a bank to get like 10-15% per year, I'd need something way more good.
What would you recommend? Mining? Other crypto?

Investors, please get me some cool ideas.

Thanks in advance,
Marcell

mining etherum, i think it's best option to invest your money, today etherum is very hot, you just need 5-6month to touch ROI, it's better than inveest at banks.
