Opps missed out the swap there

Didn't really take note of CJ's thread for quite some time until today

Any ETA when will there be another swap coming soon?
1622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] LEVERJ WHITELIST OPEN NOW, public sale begins Nov 7th on: November 07, 2017, 08:54:28 AM
Hello is there bounty for Leverj?

Just read the website and watch the video
Kinda like the idea of LEVERJ by splitting the token to 2 different type which is LEV and FEES.

Making it proportional to each other might create a balance market which is a good idea there

1623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PRE-ICO] Trade Token - trade.io - JOIN THE TRADING REVOLUTION - OFFICIAL on: November 07, 2017, 08:16:11 AM
Alright, watched a video on the Facebook page and imo, Trade.io gotta be huge here

- Easy and short Domain Name with .IO extension
- Revenue Sharing
- 275M Token will be sale, unsold Tokens will be burn, Although the marketcap is kinda big as it would result an immediate 400M ~ 500M marketcap if every coin is sold

Waiting for the bounty program!

1625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Investing $1000 expecting $5000 by the end of year on: November 07, 2017, 03:58:13 AM
Hello all

NOTE: To reply on this thread you need to be Member or higher level. If you jr. or lower member your post will be deleted.

This is my first post in 'Speculation' thread.

I have 1000$ in my bank and I would love to invest that into crypto.

What is the best strategy as per you to convert this 1000$ into 5000$ by the end of the year?

Best regards
Edi

With this playstyle, i would suggest you to play with the Fundamental Strategy in order to convert $1000 to $5000

Buy before the actual news happen, when coins pump on the date of news. Sell and repeat

For event calendar, look here: coinmarketcal.com

It has list of event there, but always check the source
1626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Biggest Jump after Fork on: November 07, 2017, 03:54:31 AM
I would like to start a little round of altcoins, which probably jump up the most in price after the b2x fork in november. I think we will see some coins with ROIs much higher than btc and b2x together. I will start with NEO and SHIFT.

Basically most coins actually dropped for close to 50% of its value especially coins in the past like
Wings 18K - 10K - 5K
DNT 1K - 1.4K - 500
BAT 6K - 4K - 2K
CFI 6K - 4K - 1.3K
Waves 120K - 100K - 50K

Coins that are long in the crypto has been massively dip under its satoshi value because of BTC pump.

I expect most alts would actually topped back their value
- Waves
- ETH
1627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Altcoins are you buying and hodling? on: November 07, 2017, 03:52:11 AM
Coss

Currently holding quite a huge number of it. Almost 40% of my portfolio
- Low marketcap
- 200M Supply
- 83M Circulate Supply
- $0.08

The reason why i am buying is because i am comparing it with Kucoin.
Basically Coss and Kucoin has the similar benefit of holding token. Revenue sharing from the fees.

Kucoin and Coss both has 200M supply, but the price differs them.
Kucoin is currently at $0.7+-
Coss is currently at $0.08

I expect Coss to have a same marketcap in the 2018 when
- UX/UI Redesign
- More coins added
- Faster Transaction Time
- Merchant Payment Gateway Done
- POS revenue sharing added
- Partnership

It has so much more to expand there

Good luck to fill up your bags

See you after 10Days

Aside from the trend switching, any big upcoming events for ETC to switch the dumping flow?

As ETH just upgrade its network to Metropolis weeks ago, does ETC follow that?

Ethereum Classic Summit in Hong Kong
https://etcsummit.com/

Ahh, this perhaps make sense.

ETC is dropping so much lately regardless if its an Altcoin upswing or downswing event.

Finally it is moving there
1629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to start investing with 1$? on: November 07, 2017, 03:47:17 AM
So here I am with about 1.5$ in my poloniex account today. What advice would you give me to make this 1.5$ into 150$ by the end of next year that is 2018?

Anyplace I could get to know about pump n dumps before they happen? Any particular cheap crypto that I should hold onto?

Never, ever ever to join pump and dump groups , it is totally a high risk gamble. Might as well you go play some crypto Dicing.

Advice here

You can't really turn $1.5 to $150 in 2017. 7-8 years ago, you can. Now = No.
The reason why is because in the last few year, if you actually bought some coin. Despite if the coins satoshi value is moving upward or not, the appreciation in bitcoin value would push the coins Fiat value up.

But currently Bitcoin is $7,000 and not $7 or $70, a 100% up would result $14,000 which will just turn your $1 to $2.

$1.5, best suggestion here
- Dice it away for 3 rounds
- 1.5 > 3 > 6 > 12

$12 would be a good place to start. If you got your $12, try to trade but not invest.
Trade = Short Term
Invest = Long Term

This amount would take too long to grow in the current situation for long term
1630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitconnect to the Moon! on: November 07, 2017, 03:43:28 AM
Whenever i see such topic, it is usually from user who has activity <100 hmmm

For the newcomers,

Before you buy on something, always research. Google "xxx" Scam, if there's tons of result, avoid it because you don't wanted to lose your money when you first invest in something
1631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth buy or wait? on: November 07, 2017, 03:42:59 AM
You can start to buy now because Bitcoin is starting to weaken its pump and going reversal

Compare to ETH, it didn't really move much despite of the Metropolis update. When the Bitcoin Rally is over, Alts gonna turn, ETH gonna have a major upward swing
1632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / is RCN and Salt Same? on: November 07, 2017, 03:37:48 AM
Ripio Credit Network - https://ripiocredit.network
Salt Lending - https://saltlending.com/

Ripio - P2P Credit Network
Salt - Loan Lending Platform - "Keep your Crypto, Get your cash"

In this case, are they actually competitors?
1633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Largest Bitcoin Exchange In China Condemns B2X on: November 06, 2017, 01:08:08 PM
I woke up to this news just now as the CEO of OKCOIN, which so far is the largest cryptocurrency exchange in China, condemns B2X and publicly called it a shitcoin. I am not surprised though since the whole hand writing is on the wall. No sane user would want to support a coin that has posed an attack on decentralization and trying every means possible to cause a huge network issue through the fork by removing replay attack protection. That is extremely shady!

For more information on the news, you can read here;
https://coinvedi.com/chinas-largest-bitcoin-exchange-ceo-publicly-condemns-segwit2x/

Well, B2X has been lately getting tons of backlash compare to months ago. Segwit2x is now 83.7% based on https://coin.dance/blocks

Compare to months ago where its 9x%. But that is to prevent Bitcoin Unlimited imo. After BTU, Segwit2x has not been too well support by few of the major party
1634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Biggest investment oppertunity of this year / 2018 - SALT Lending on: November 06, 2017, 01:04:58 PM
Salt

A very famous coin that its use case + Value is greatly appreciated in one of the slack group

Although i didn't purchase it as it has many tiers on its ICO but i guess this is one of the coin people should never miss out.

Haven't really actually read on it
1635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: segwit2x price prediction on: November 06, 2017, 12:35:06 PM
Isn't Segwit2x coin price would be better than Segwit Bitcoin?

Isn't one of the BIP protocol consist of Both Segwit + 2X which got majority votes which would make it the "Official" Bitcoin?
1636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [Ann] [OTN] Open Trading Network | OTN Token | Uniting the crypto world on: November 06, 2017, 12:33:15 PM
waoh didn't really notice this coin until the growth at Coinmarketcap

So OTN is a coin that could be use in IQ Option right?

The partnership within IQ Option would lead much traffic to OTN
Good luck!
1637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10 ETH or 1 BTC? on: November 06, 2017, 12:31:44 PM
With $3000 to invest, is there any advantages to either, with the expectations/hopes that they both will continue to grow?  Just trying to see what others would do, as I plan to let this initial investment sit for 5yrs minimum in a cold wallet.

Thanks ladies and gents!

At the time you posted this, Bitcoin is the choice there.

But at the time i posted now, ETH is much a better choice and

1 BTC could buy you 20 ETH now Tongue
For longer term, ETH is much a better choice. Technology wised project = Longer period, Longer time of development = Product
1638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When the alts will up....? on: November 06, 2017, 12:27:04 PM
its going up my friend

If you actually take a look at most of the coins, its green and the dumping of coins is stopping.

Most of the coins are making a reversal in price Smiley

1640  Other / Archival / Re: is EVERY ico a scam?? on: November 06, 2017, 06:45:35 AM
Everybody keeps on saying scam scam scam for all of these ICO's. 90% of them are crap, yes. BUT there is the 10% of them, like vector, who are absolutely not scams. They are good projects that will really help the crypto community grow and its not fair to call an ICO a scam until you have actually researched it and you are sure it is a scam.

Just my two satoshis...

Yeah, not all ICO are scams. To be exact, not "EVERY" ico are scam. But scams are everywhere, regardless in ICO, Cryptocurrency Industry, Financial Industry, or any industry. Scams appear everywhere
