821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: End of ethereum? on: November 10, 2018, 09:48:09 AM
Hey guys. Ethereum is looking really bad today. 200$ is lower than on September 2017 ;( Do you think it will recover with crypto market? Or this is the end of ethereum?

IMO, ethereum will never end (If we ignore price, it is definitely that Ethereum is a never ending)
Judging by how JP Morgan CEO jamie says he believe the ETH framework, and upcoming network upgrade
Ethereum will be there and move on Smiley
822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC is simply just to cheat bounty hunters. on: November 09, 2018, 05:06:47 AM
To my understanding, KYC simply means "Know your customer". Investors(customers) who participate in ICO are made to go through KYC process before they are even allowed to purchase their tokens. On the other hand, Bounty hunters are just "part time workers" of the project and not customers. Even if they will be made to go through a KYC process, it should be before they start working and not after. Waiting for them to finish working for the project and refusing to pay them because they failed to pass KYC afterwards is a total cheat.

Anyhow, it is in a grey area
First of all,  the reason why some companies insist of requesting KYC from bounty hunters because they wanted to make sure that 100% of their token allocation are allocated to people who are genuine and legit

Although i am slightly against of it because it is risky for the bounty hunter, and not that necessary for the company (It depends on the regulations)
But if one company wanted to have a safe state from their company, it is better to follow and provide KYC in the case that the company is genuine and legit
You don't wanted to give your KYC to some random people who uses your KYC and went off for frauds
823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy! on: November 08, 2018, 11:19:55 AM
Hey guys, it’s already November. I think it is a perfect time to buy crypto because it must pump toll the end of the year because of BAKKT and so on. What do you think?

Yeah, same opinion here
I believe Bakkt should at least push BTC back to $7,000 easily
No one can deny the fact that despite the price is dropping, institutions are majorly adopting and entering the industry
Everyone wanted a share of the cake

Judging on how big companies actively participating and investing in the industry
Its a Buy signal!
824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready to use cryptocurrency in everyday life? on: November 08, 2018, 11:16:32 AM
Cryptocurrency is not yet 100% legalized in many countries, but are you psychologically ready to use it every day? Are you ready to get paid in the crypto? In your opinion, when will the dollar era end, and we will be able to fully use the cryptocurrency on a daily basis?

Thanks for the replies.

Yes!
I am waiting it
Especially for my MONACO card, where i can deposit crypto and withdraw to fiat thru any ATM that accepts visa
Next, it generate cashback which my current debit card doesn't provides so

Crypto is just more than investment imo
825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are airdrops still worth getting into? on: November 08, 2018, 11:15:37 AM
I used to sign up for airdrops until I realised most of them are just scammy/ really not worth anything.

I want to know your thoughts about them. Are they still something interesting to get into? If so, what do you think is interesting?

Of course, Airdrops is basically free money
Despite not all Airdrops worth something, but even $3-5 could be alot if you participate alot

Hardwork pays off, who knows you got into great airdrops which could make you good money
826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Story time - your ICO success stories and biggest fails on: November 07, 2018, 08:58:56 AM
Just read this article about ICOs and their history - http://cryptofinance24.com/the-first-icos-a-history-of-crypto-fundraising-p410-171.htm

Made me wonder, what are your ICO success stories and your failures? What has been your most successful investment, where have you lost the most etc?
Want to hear some tales.

Let's go..!

Well tons of ICO have lead me to 100% of my investment loss
Some even with live product or website which you can play on
One of the notable project is letitride or something like that
where i have almost 1btc worth of the coins and the dev just run damn
827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in crypto? on: November 07, 2018, 08:03:39 AM
Hey guys, I wanna ask you a simple question. Do you still believe in crypto? Do you think it will strike back and we all will be rich? Why?

Not everyone will be rich, if everyone be rich then whos gonna be the one who buys up the high?
This is how market works

People who panic buy/sell would always be the one who make loss
Follow by people who follow on news/others choice instead of making own choices
Only 10-20% of people actually make money because they know how to cash out and how the market cycle moves
828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BCH just too off like a rocket on: November 07, 2018, 07:35:38 AM

BCH up a spike of 9.6% or so as I write, but I could find no news.

Too bad I only have some $20 worth...

If not mistaken, it is related to some sort of hardfork or etc
Saw the news where people posted where BCH/USD is up like 30-40% which got me stunned  Shocked
829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin of 2019 on: November 04, 2018, 12:33:07 PM
As we make our way through Q4 2018, based on what has been seen among altcoins such as development, innovation, security, real-world use cases, and plans for the next year, what altcoins do you think will be big in 2019?

ICON
Zilliqa
Locktrip

All these coin should be able to become star coin because their development is ongoing
Especially Locktrip, it has a very small supply cap and has a pretty good development

Check it out
830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to move to BTC on: November 04, 2018, 12:30:55 PM
I think to have a bull market up-coming is the best way to move all the money that you have in altcoins to bitcoin, because with market dominance of Bitcoin the market will go green, and the bull run with start, as far as I am concerned from the previous experience of the bull run more than 55% bitcoin was dominant in the market.
Suggestions?

Convert to Bitcoin before another bull run is pretty a good choice there
You could at least make quite some gain compare to holding Alts because major crypto will always get pump before minor
831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Video call for KYC verification on: November 03, 2018, 02:28:12 PM
Video call for kyc verification?? Is it possible? Do you think it is the best way , rather than uploading your documents for kyc verification process? Most bounty campaigns and ICOs nowadays required a kyc.

If video call for Kyc verification is possible, what is the best and secure app to you use for video call

It is definitely a very great way and the KYC would have a very high purity rate and could prevent tons of fake KYC
However, it will then lead to less investor because people might tend to be shy when comes to video conferences or interview

Hence, using KYC service platform like CIVIC where one KYC, join all ICO should be one of the good thing
832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum prices disappoint you again? on: November 03, 2018, 11:34:00 AM
A few days ago the price rose slowly but this did not last long until the price returned badly. Why?

Because the market is still in the state where we falls off from bearish market and in the negative moment
Price could retrace up but still, it will falls back

However, ignore the price and focus on the blockchain and you wouldn't feel dissapointed
833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you make money from ICO? on: November 02, 2018, 03:52:00 PM
An initial coin offering is similar in concept to an initial public offering (IPO), both a process in which companies raise capital, while an ICO is an investment that gives the investor a cryptocoin, more commonly known as a coin or a token in return for investment, which is quite different to the issuance of securities as is the case in an IPO investment. Do you invest in ICO? and has you make money from it?

Invest in potential ICO
and yeah ICO does pay off alot if project is legit and genuine

Look at Genesis Vision, that project is insanely good if you invest during ICO
Their manager investor platform just launch and their price is consistently increasing since ICO and price moving up in the bears market
834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Worst year of trading for me damn on: November 02, 2018, 01:09:26 PM
So after the bearish market came
I've been holding more alts than BTC/ETH

Coins like COSS, NANO, CND and etc
I been making loss and missing out most of the pump because i sell these coins and convert it to ICON (ICX) which i waited it to be move
So basically after everytime i sold my specific alts, few days later it went 100%   Shocked

NANO, bought at 0.011 ETH i sold at 0.005 ETH, 7 days later, it went up to 0.013 ETH. Hold for almost 6 months and sold, it went up after 7 days.
Same to NANO, COSS

Everytime i sold, within days to 1/2 week
It pumped like crazy

Just like COSS
Sold off 100k at 28 ETH last week
Today 100k COSS priced at 53 ETH

Holy i been making huge losses in 2018  Cheesy Sad Shocked Cool Cool
835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple buy or not? on: November 02, 2018, 05:10:30 AM
Hey guys, what do you think about ripple? Is it worth it to invest in it? Or it is a dead token? I want to hear your thoughts.

Keep portion of it in your portfolio
Although i don't hold even 1% of it, maybe just 0.x% of it in my portfolio
I do believe Ripple posses a huge valuation there because of how bank is massively testing and adopting it in their remittance system
836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto After Death? on: October 31, 2018, 07:15:03 AM
Have you ever wondered what will happen to your cryptocurrency when you die, for those holding huge funds, what have you put in place to make sure your kids or family benefit from your crypto savings.
This is quite fascinating because if you know someone with huge crypto savings and he gave up the ghost, I wonder how such families would benefit from his savings since he alone has the private key to his/her wallet.
I guess this is one reason some user still prefer banking Institutions, because they made provision for next of kin unlike crypto.
So my question is what happen to those crypto when the owner of such wallet is no more and no one has access to such wallet?

That's the problem and i know there were certain project are doing something like a Will with smart contract
I am not sure how it can be coded to such that you can move funds from other wallet where you don't access to private key but i believe everything could be coded.

Perhaps you parents would have access to this certain Ethereum Address, you know that they doesn't know about privacy and security. Hence this is why custodian service is out there to help and secure people's wallet.
So lets say you are dead, after X amount of days when wallet is inactive, there will be an execution of all the ERC 20 tokens to your designed designated wallet address.

I believe this should be the way
837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH TO 100$. on: October 31, 2018, 07:12:14 AM
ETH TO 100$ Soon, Sell now.

It seems possible but i am still kinda positive to say that i believe that market should be better than now
Dropping to $100 is dirt cheap, even $200 now is a steal imo

Ethereum is not something like the tulip
Ethereum does serve purpose and it has use cases
From https://dappradar.com, we can see that there's daily activities on the blockchain
Regardless of how the price move, the blockchain is there
838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is neo good choice for long-term investment ? on: October 31, 2018, 05:11:20 AM
NEO is going off the scene, it was one of the most appraised crypto after ETH during 2017
Not sure what happen but from what people have been saying, there were few time that ICO on NEO network actually got stucked and after that, didn't heard much about NEO anymore

Anyhow, if not mistaken they are the first one who did the "GAS" thinggy where holding NEO generate GAS, just like how Vechain does on the VechainThor, ONTology generate ONG
But anyhow, NEO was once a most attention project, i believe once a bull run start, NEO shall be able to get back
839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Cryptos finally getting stable? on: October 31, 2018, 04:42:04 AM
It feels like it's this time of the year again for the bullish market. Not sure if it's gonna the same as last year though. But many will recover. Whaddya think?

At this stage, is kinda stable out a little bit, holding at the 200B marketcap without moving much
Anyhow, i believe it is just the matter of time where the market will recover
We can see people are moving their business into the blockchain industry, or integrating their business with Blockchain

Hence, it shows positivity
840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you surprised at the price of ETH? on: October 31, 2018, 04:26:28 AM
Yeah.. until now im more surprised that it actually went down more than 80% and drop to $200
One of the main reason without a doubt is that ICO sells off and panic moment i believe
