1621  Economy / Economics / Re: does bitcoin help in your economy? on: February 18, 2023, 01:22:58 PM
there are many people investing in bitcoin, some are profitable and some are losing. and I believe bitcoin has a big advantage. The question is whether when you benefit from bitcoin, you can help your economy and your family?

I have been investing in Bitcoin and other crypto industry since 2017, and it helped me a lot to improve financial condition of my family. It is a growing industry, by investing in this technology, we are contributing to its development, which in turn has potential to create new job opportunities for younger generation.

I believe that, investing in crypto currencies is not beneficial for improving personnel finances but also has wider economic benefits.
1622  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading and Front running!!!! on: February 18, 2023, 08:35:19 AM
On several instances traders have made good profit out of trades in much shorter time period. Most of the time this happens through insider information sharing. Several incidents have taken place and very few have got proven that trades were through insider information. Recently a trader have profited $100k+ in profit in less than an hour.

Inside trading is an offence and it should be taken seriously. It can give certain individual an unfair advantage but ultimately it damages the reputation of exchange and erodes the trust of the financial system. It can also damage the reputation of traded token or asset. This is why most the financial regulators, including SEC have very strict rules against it and take tough stance on enforcement.

Ultimately, maintaining the integrity of the financial markets is crucial for the long term health and stability of the economy. By taking a tough stance against inside trading, we can ensure that market is fair and transparent for all participants.

1624  Economy / Economics / Re: How Does Debt Crisis Boost Cryptocurrencies? on: February 17, 2023, 02:04:31 PM
No business gives guaranteed income, your speculation, management and expertise will pay off. If you are careless about the time you invest and divest in BTC, you will lose.

As for your claim on centralisation, it's not an obstacle in the real world my dear, it has existed before decentralized means and many have enmassed wealth to themselves via it without a problem. Even Bitcoin will not survive without fiats, or do you spend Bitcoin daily? Let's be realistic.

You made a valid point that no investment, including Bitcoin, can guarantee income, and that success depends on individual's investment strategy, skill to manage risks and timing. Regarding centralized, it is true that it has existed for a long time and individuals and entities amassed wealth through them. However there are downsides to centralization, such as concentration of wealth which can lead to inequality and systematic risks.

The decentralization nature of Bitcoin is its key feature, as it allows greater transparency, security and resilience compared to centralized systems. Despite  Bitcoin's reliance on fiat currencies for some aspects of its echo system, such as exchange and trading platforms but still it can be used for daily transactions.
1625  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why I will never trust top exchanges on: February 17, 2023, 09:59:20 AM

As the currency BUSD reports the BUSD-minted tokens on the other chains are shady from the reserves point of view. BUSD on the BSC is transparent but the BUSD on other chains seems over-printed as compared to the total reserves this is the reason SEC imposed a grip on the BUSD minting.
Long story short be careful with the centralized exchanges.
It is correct that using centralized exchanges comes with certain risks, such as manipulation of price and uncertain reserves in the exchange wallets. It is important for individuals to exercise caution and thoroughly research any exchange before using it. In my opinion the best practice is to hold digital assets in personnel wallet and only use reputable exchange when you need to buy/sell any assets.

Regarding BUSD, the collapse of UST (a stable coin that was pegged with US Dollar) serves us a reminder that no stable coin is completely  secure. However, in case of BUSD which is backed by financial stability of Binance and regularly audited, but still it is important for us to exercise caution when using stable coins & stay informed  about any news related to their stability and security.
1626  Other / Archival / Re: Historical Data on Bitcoin Bullish/Bearish Cycles on: February 17, 2023, 02:43:30 AM

I beleive it's best for us to have a look at the big picture:

Next cycle, we'll could see increases of 2.0-2.5x, which would be around 125k to 150k.
And it would be a 5x - 7x from where we are now.  Wink

Finally, we should also consider: last ATH (2021) we didn't have any halving but now, in 2024, we'll have one, resulting in a possibly more bullish environment.

You are absolutely right that historical trends and upcoming halving event suggest that Bitcoin could potentially reach 125K in the next bull run, however it is also important to note that the price of Bitcoin is also impacted by macro-economic factors and market conditions, as we have seen strong correlation between stocks and Bitcoin markets during the recent years.

It is certainly possible for Bitcoin to hit 125K or even more in the next bull cycle, if fear of recession subsides, and there is fall in inflation, a pause in interest rate increase, and an increase in GDP, these factors could potentially support an upward trend in Bitcoin.
1627  Economy / Economics / Re: Rate hikes cant give much value to Fiat currency btc vs Fiat on: February 16, 2023, 08:54:24 AM
The general purpose of rate hikes is to make a particular currency attractive to investors seeking higher yield, leading to potentially increased demand and strengthening its value relative to other currencies. However, higher interest rates also have negative impact on economy as it can result in reduced spending and investment which is not good for economy in the long term. In such scenario, Bitcoin and other crypto currencies are viewed as alternative investments that can provide diversification and hedge against traditional economic risks.

1628  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How the rising trend in CPI will affect Bitcoin price in short to medium term? on: February 16, 2023, 05:01:59 AM
What people often do not realise is that inflation as a CPI does not count the price of financial assets, and that in times of monetary expansion, inflation ends up in them. We only have to look at the returns since its inception to realise that expansionary policies have worked very well for it and I think it will continue to do so. Investors are betting that inflation will moderate, as it seems to be doing, and then Central Banks will slow down or even change rate policy, making markets rise again.
You bring up very interesting point regarding Bitcoin as a hedge against inflation. It is theatrically correct that due to its finite supply & decentralized nature, it should work as a good hedge against inflation. However, as you noted, short term fluctuation in Bitcoin price is not always correlated with inflation rate. It is also true that inflation measured by CPI doesn't necessarily reflect its impact on financial assets including Bitcoin. Inflation can lead to increase in price of assets as investors look for alternative stores of value to protect their purchasing power.
1629  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How the rising trend in CPI will affect Bitcoin price in short to medium term? on: February 16, 2023, 03:26:32 AM
CPI report always impacts the crypto market and the stock market directly, this time the results that we were expecting are not the same but still results are quite good.
BUSD Fud is still here but things are clear now that Binance will continue to support BUSD. BUSD lost $700M in Market capital. I am not sure how Binance is going to maintain the Future minting of the BUSD.

It is great to see that impact of negative CPI report was short lived and it didn't cause any panic selling in the market & the price of Bitcoin is now recovering. This morning, as Asian markets opened , Bitcoin reached a high of 2427,00 which is the highest price of last 6 months. many well known expect that Bitcoin will hit $30,000 before experiencing a bearish trend again.

Although Binnce is a leading crypto exchange with a large cash reserves, the recent FUD regarding BUSD did temporarily harm its reputation. However, it seems that Binance has resolved this issue and is now in better position.

1630  Local / Other languages/locations / Re: Pakistan on: February 15, 2023, 03:10:24 PM
I am just informing Bitcoin  death cross on the weekly timeframe is now confirmed.be carefull in every trade .

Brother, Golden cross or death cross patterns kisi hud tak long term trend reversal k reliable patterns han mgr short term mein bht zayadh sahi kaam nhi kerty or enko hamesha mutiple indicators use ker k trend ko confirm kerna chaye. Wasy bi kal CPI data release hony k baad Bitcoin ne thori dip li mgr dobra price recover ho gya ha or aaj Bitcoin lugta ha k dobara 23K ko cross ker le ga. Bht sary analysts ki opinion ha ek dafa Bitcoin 30K ko hit kere ga or vehan se dump ho ga.us k baad eski bottom bny gi. Let's watch and wait how it plays out in coming weeks and months. DYOR
1631  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto aid for Turkey exceeds $4.5M in one week on: February 15, 2023, 01:14:09 PM
The  initiative taken by crypto community to raise funds for earth quake victims of Turkey is highly commendable. This disastrous event has led to wide spread devastation, with over 4000 buildings destroyed and numerous casualties. The effort to provide rapid aid to those affected is crucial, it is equally important to make sure that distribution of aid is free from any kind of bias or discrimination. We should also take resumes to ensure that funds are utilized appropriately and reach all those who in need, regardless of any demographic or social distinctions.

1632  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin inflation wilder than fiat? on: February 15, 2023, 11:00:48 AM
We know Inflation has become a frightening specter in 2023 because of covid and Ukraine and Rusia war. This is related to crypto, I am not sure if crypto price today has grown up in the line without following the fiat. Yes, fiat aka conventional money is the factor we pursue to bitcoin.

To assume that Bitcoin will experience same type of inflation as fiat currencies is not accurate, because of its supply is limited of 21 Million coins , whereas fiat currencies can be printed in unlimited quantity by the central banks of the countries . Inflation in fiat currencies is caused by money supply which governments usually control by increasing interest rates. In contrast, Bitcoin has been programmed for maximum supply of 21 million and it is not possible to increase it. Inflation is Bitcoin is caused by increase in demand with limited supply of coins, can lead to higher price of Bitcoin.
1633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin could hit $10M in 9 years but more sidechains needed: Blockstream CEO on: February 15, 2023, 07:37:00 AM
Can bitcoin marketcap get to 200 trillion? Expecting the price to be around $10 million at the time.

Bitcoin enthusiasts believe that its limited supply and potential use as store of value could drive its price higher in the future but It won't be so easy for Bitcoin market to reach 200 trillion dollars in 9 years, the total market capitalization of all publicly traded companies in the world is estimated around 100 trillion dollars. If Bitcoin were to achieve 200 trillion dollars capitalization, it would be worth more than entire global stock market. It is difficult to predict if and when market cap will reach this level. Such s scenario would likely require massive increase in demand, continued adoption and use of crypto currency as store of value and method of payment. It is also possible that new technological developments and changes in regulatory laws could impact significantly the value of Bitcoin.

1634  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can golden cross on S & P chart trigger buying in Bitcoin? on: February 15, 2023, 04:46:22 AM

Until inflation is down and the economy recovers we are not going to see a bull run, you have to look at the full picture, inflation is up, interest rates are through the roof and most countries are laden with massive debts, more than 40% of people in the USA and canada cannot afford their mortgages when they have to renew,

It is true that economic situation in many countries is concerning, with high inflation rates, increasing interest rates and significant level of debt. The challenges many households facing, such as difficulty in affording mortgages, are also cause of concern. Regarding potential of bull run in the stock & crypto market, there are many factors to consider beyond golden cross , such as, general state of economy, corporate earning, global events. While historical patterns such as golden cross can provide some guidance but there is no guarantee of future performance.
1635  Economy / Trading Discussion / How the rising trend in CPI will affect Bitcoin price in short to medium term? on: February 14, 2023, 02:59:16 PM
The consumer price index(CPI) data released today , fell short of market expectation and it is showing sign of increasing once again and it may lead to concerns about inflation and potential harsher interest rate increase in future. This is likely to create negative sentiment in all financial markets including Bitcoin.Hopefully, FED will take necessary action to curb this increasing trend.

Despite this, I believe that its impact is expected to be temporary, and that Bitcoin's price will eventually recover over time, and market will continue moving upwards.

What are your thoughts on this?

Ek or bra event aaj shamm ko 18:30 pe scheduled ha , jub CPI ka data release ho ga or es dafa yeh market ko surprise ker sakta ha ku k CPI ki calculation k formula mein kuch changes ki gai ha.  I think Bitcoin $20,300 tak neechay aa sakta ha. Let's watch and wait, how CPI data release will impact the market. DYOR

1637  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I decided to buy some fractions of BTC after discussion with members here on: February 14, 2023, 09:04:33 AM
First of all I would like to congratulate you on your decision to purchase Bitcoin and becoming part of the Bitcoin community. It's great to see you that you took the advice of others to lead by example. As for the "Bull run" that people have been talking about, it is important to keep in mind that Bitcoin's value can be very volatile, so it is better to take informed decision and don't get caught up in short term trends. Good luck.
1638  Economy / Economics / Re: The fear of global recession is real or just a speculation? on: February 14, 2023, 04:48:28 AM

From what am I seeing, we are already on it, we started it last year maybe and I am just hoping that we will not suffer too much just like what they are saying I am also afraid to what is happening to other company, lots of layoff this year, being in a person works in corpo l am afraid that our company might face a huge problem that will lead them to cutting people from their job.

It is true that many economies around the world have been affected by COVID-19 pandemic, and some of them may be in recession now. However, it is important to note that situation can greatly vary from country to country and industry to industry. It is understandable to feel concerned about potential layoffs, but it is important to focus on what you can control, such as doing your best work and staying up-to-date on company developments and always prioritize your health and well being during these uncertain times.

1640  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will lead the world currency market?? on: February 13, 2023, 02:56:47 PM
Do you think bitcoin will be the leader of the world’s currency market like US dollar in the future?Huh

It is is difficult to predict with certainty that Bitcoin will lead the world currency market in the near future. However, Bitcoin has the potential to address many issues in the current financial system. Bitcoin's unique characteristics, such as its deflationary nature, ability to hedge against inflation, and fast and cheap transactions, make it a promising alternative to current fiat currencies. However, there are many challenges that Bitcoin and other crypto currencies face, including adoption, regulation and security. Therefore, it remains to be seen if Bitcoin will emerge as leader of the world currency market.
