1221  Economy / Economics / Re: How do cryptocurrencies affect Global Economy? on: June 11, 2023, 04:32:54 AM
Another known benefit of cryptocurrency is financial inclusion and economic inclusion.  This enables the unbanked or people rejected by banks to participate in economic activities.  And it also enables the unbanked to interact with financial activities such as fund transfers without the need for intermediaries like banks.

Indeed, crypto currencies provide unprecedented opportunity for the un-banked population or those rejected by traditional financial system, to access the financial services and participate in economic activities. This unbaked population can use alternative means to store, transfer and receive funds without relying on traditional banking system. One of the most appealing aspect of crypto currencies is increased autonomy  autonomy and control compared to traditional financial system. This level of autonomy and control is truly the beauty of crypto industry.

With the exception of China, the rest of those countries that issued their digital version of the currency are going through economic problems, including financial dependence on the great powers. On this basis, they cannot link their CBDC currencies to their local currencies, unlike China, which has the digital yuan as an electronic version of the yuan fiat.
According to some articles, Britain is also in an experimental stage to generalize the use of CBDC, but there is no information about the reason for the delay or the launch date.

It is true that China has been at the forefront of CDBC(Central Bank Digital Currency) development and has made significant progress with its digital Yuan. however, We should keep in mind that development and implementation of digital currency is an independent decision of a sovereign country and it entirely depends on its unique circumstances, priorities, technological readiness, economic condition , public acceptance and regulatory considerations.
1223  Economy / Economics / Re: The world continues dumping US dollar (Gold, New World Order, World War III) on: June 10, 2023, 06:07:23 AM
The US dollar's reserve currency position does not guarantee it as a safe haven in times of economic uncertainty. This trend has been observed in recent years as central banks and other investors have increased their purchases of gold as a safe-haven asset. Thus, Russian-Chinese alternatives to the US-dominated financial system attempt to reduce dependence on the US dollar in bilateral trade and financial transactions between Russia and China, but there is still no complete solution. replace the US dollar at this point. The international financial system is complex and closely tied to the US dollar's role as a reserve currency. However, the US dollar cannot hold its position forever, and we should recognize that the economy is gradually moving to the east.

Indeed, US dollar reserve position doesn't guarantee that it is an absolute safe heaven during the uncertain economic conditions. This is the reason central banks all over the world are increasing their gold reserve to hedge their fiat currency reserves. Although Russia, China and many other countries are jointly making efforts to reduce their dependence on  US dollar dominated financial system by using alternatives, such as bilateral trade agreements, using national currencies for transactions. However, replacing the US dollar completely is a complex task barbecue it has deep integration within the international financial system.
1224  Economy / Economics / Re: The world continues dumping US dollar (Gold, New World Order, World War III) on: June 09, 2023, 03:25:34 PM
One should not speculate that the devaluation of the US dollar will lead to a World War III or even a new world order. This requires careful consideration of many complex factors, including international relations and geopolitics. I think we should follow the development of this situation through reputable news sources and learn more from economic and political experts to get the most accurate and complete information. The devaluation of the US dollar can have great effects on the global economy and the political situation of countries. One of the consequences of this is that the value of gold can increase, as it is often used as a safe haven for investors when the currency depreciates.

I agree with your viewpoint that devaluation is a common occurrence in financial world, where every country adjusts its currency value due to changing political and economic circumstances, as well as in response to pressure of market forces. This can potentially create economic tensions between the nations but it is highly unlikely that  it can lead to third world war. Humanity has learned profound lesson from previous two world wars, and it is our sincere hope that wisdom will triumph over destructive impulses.

Hong Kong is much better and it's a SAR of China. While policies are still different and it's like a baby of China, it has its own policies
Indeed, Hong Kong operates under "one country two systems" principle as a Special Administrative Region of China. Hong Kong has been known for years as a financial hub of Asia with well developed infrastructure and  a strong rule of law. Its economic fundamentals are quite strong with mature financial market, stable currency and free flow of capital . These factors have contributed to its success as a global financial center. While Hong Kong continues to strive to enhance its economy and attract investment. However, it is essential for investors to stay informed about political developments and policy changes and adapt accordingly.
1226  Economy / Economics / Re: To Hodl or Lend: What is your take? on: June 09, 2023, 04:19:41 AM
They have the same risk, that's why the level of lending is higher because if you don't know how to manage money properly, your lending money might end up in vain if I compare it to holding.

As for holding, it seems like there is no risk, but there is still because the only enemy I see here is that if you are not a patient person, it is clear that you cannot be here. That's why, if you buy Bitcoin to hold for a long time, the money you use here should be the extra money you don't need.

You made a valid point that there is risk involved in both in lending and holding. In lending there is risk that borrower may default which is beyond your control but you can mitigate this risk by selecting a reputable entity having proven track record of repaying loans.

Holding requires intense patience when it comes to investment like Bitcoin, emotionally driven decisions based on daily price fluctuations can lead to impulsive actions that may not align with your long term goals. Overcoming this challenging issue can be achieved by avoiding daily monitoring of investment portfolio.
1227  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: June 08, 2023, 03:28:51 PM
I would not say that DCA is the "only" method, since there is lump sum investing and there is buying on dips (the topic of this thread), even though DCA is amongst the best of methods to get started right away.. and hopefully, people who get started in bitcoin as soon as possible will end up tailoring their BTC accumulation approach to their own situation.. which may well mean to start out with DCA.. and then to figure out various goals that they have that are personally tailored.. that might take years to play out with various tweaks and adjustments along the way.. that hopefully relate to ongoing learning. and perhaps not devolving into those kinds of desperation and/or gambling strategies that you had referred to in your post Sim_card.

I would strongly agree with your perspective that DCA is the best strategy for accumulating Bitcoin on significant dips. This approach helps to keep average buying cost at a reasonable level overtime. Attempting to trade Bitcoin with aim to increase quantity of Bitcoin often ends up in failure, as it is very challenging to accurately predict the market through technical indicators. Although technical analysis is a valuable tool to understand the sentiment of the market, but its accuracy to predict market is never 100%, as it is not a perfect science., it relies on historical data, and what happened in the past doesn't necessarily mean same will be repeated in future. It is crucial  to approach market predictions with caution to avoid any unfavorable outcome.
1228  Economy / Economics / Re: To Hodl or Lend: What is your take? on: June 08, 2023, 10:44:13 AM
One of the major reasons why bitcoin Enthusiasts hold bitcoin is in anticipation of a price increase that would increase the value of their asset. However, holding your bitcoin requires a patience mixed with strong will. It is the patience to be patient for a long period of time until the price makes a 10%, 20% and so on increase. Strong will not to use it to solve some immediate problem and risk a reduction in your asset. Consequently, not everyone one can wait that is why some decide to learn bitcoin trading so that they can make some quick profit that would also increase their asset holding. Some other become bitcoin lenders. Yes, they use either a centralized or decentralized platform to lend their bitcoin which would be repaid with interest. What is your honest take on bitcoin lending? Too risky, won't try it? Too risky, will give it a try?

I personally like the idea of lending as it seems prudent and worth trying to stake Bitcoins on a well reputed and reliable platform that offers attractive staking rewards. However, this practice is also associated with certain degree of risk, as there is no guarantee that your funds are absolutely safe. Furthermore, due to regulatory issues surrounding the crypto currencies platforms, there are many uncertainties as crypto currencies are still evolving and meeting regulatory requirements for staking platforms is challenging. Therefore,it is difficult to find a trusted platform that not only provides attractive staking rewards but also works within regulatory framework.

1229  Economy / Economics / Re: Is risky to invest this period on: June 08, 2023, 06:06:18 AM
Everybody who started investing in Bitcoin for like 6 years ago now, will tell you that the example you gave is nothing if there is a pump in the price of Bitcoin. It is always risky to invest, one just had to take a leap and invest any amount you will be okay with for a start.

You are correct in your statement that anyone who invested in Bitcoin six years ago or earlier has seen substantial  profit , and early birds who who invested a decade ago, have reaped significant benefits from their wise investment decision. These observations indicate that it is never too late to invest in Bitcoin, but prior to making investment decision, it is advisable to understand its fundamental characteristic, historical trends and its market dynamics. Furthermore, carefully evaluate your risk tolerance level before engaging in any kind of investment.
1230  Economy / Economics / Re: Is risky to invest this period on: June 07, 2023, 03:51:05 PM
From the look of things bitcoin price will not come up soon, I guess is better to hold on till when it will show strong signal before putting in money again to escape losses and people who their investment is long over due are already victims of the Price dropping. We should try to be careful this period that bitcoin has not direction. Imagine a friend investment $2000 but what is currently left in his wallet is $400, and the deep is still bearing down the nuds.

Hold on, but if you must buy now be wise to use spare income.

It may not be the right time to take entry in  crypto market, as it is passing through difficult times these days due to recent allegation made by SEC against Binance for violating rules and regulations in USA. This unfortunate incident has increased the risk level  Binance accused by SEC for violating rules and regulations in USA. This unfortunate event has increased the risk level in crypto market as Binance and USA is a leading economy of the world. The potential departure of Binance from such a crucial market could give rise to liquidity problem in the short to medium term. Therefore, it may be prudent to wait for the return of stability in the market before making any investment decision.
1231  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance crisis - how will it affect the crypto market? on: June 07, 2023, 10:33:34 AM
some people take this moment to buy BNB because they are very good at taking advantage of the news. well unfortunately this is just momentum, for those who have bought but they hold it for a long time I think they will actually spend their own assets. As for how Binance will go forward, I don't think I can say for sure whether Binance will lose to this rumor or will actually make Binance rise in the future.

In the light  of current lawsuit brought by SEC against Binance, it to important to recognize that these allegation of violating the rules are serious. Consequently, it would be highly risk to invest in BNB coin at this stage. As resolution of this dispute remains uncertain and it might take long time before final verdict reached. Therefore, individuals welling to buy BNB, coin should carefully evaluate their risk tolerance level, as well as safeguard your investment by using stop-loss.
1232  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: June 07, 2023, 04:30:32 AM
There are really Bitcoiners who bought Bitcoin at $40k and some even above that, but most of them are still holding despite the fact that the market is still bearish. So, if you think you are at a loss because of the market, remember that there are also a lot of Bitcoiners who may have bought at a higher price than you did. Bitcoin investment is mostly long-term and not just what you will buy this month and expect to make profit the next month. If you want to make a profit in Bitcoin, then you should be ready to hold until the price becomes bullish again, because as long as you hold onto your Bitcoin and never sell it at a cheap price, you have not lost anything.

You made a valid point that, for Bitcoin investors, it is very important to understand that this market is very volatile and like other markets it also goes through bull and bear cycles and it is very challenging to predict the duration of these cycles . The other significant factor is our belief in potential of Bitcoin to thrive overtime. This belief greatly influences the success of our investment in the long term.
1233  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance crisis - how will it affect the crypto market? on: June 06, 2023, 06:30:44 PM
- The SEC has sued Binance and Changpeng Zhao. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) sued bitcoin exchange Binance and its CEO Changpeng Zhao.
These and many other negative news stories, about the world's largest exchange, have been in the air for months. Question:
- What will the problems of Binance lead to for crypto market and crypto users?

While the allegations of violating the rules are quite serious and weighty against Binance and its founder CZ (Changpeng Zhao). Nevertheless, it is important to recognize that Binance is a leading crypto currencies exchange with robust and professional legal team. They will certainly take all necessary measures to defend their position effectively in the court and do all what they can to survive this crisis. I am optimistic that the outcome of this lawsuit will be in favor of Binance , as potential closure of their business in USA will have far reaching consequences, not only Binance but  for the entire crypto currencies market.

Today the market speaks. The market is still very vulnerable to issues of negative sentiment and FUD. Maybe every perspective is different in understanding the basic principles and dynamics of the market well. Our goals here may all be the same, only the means of delivery may differ in learning and developing a thorough understanding of Bitcoin, which in turn forms confidence in the cryptocurrency. Yes. it's normal and I really appreciate it. Thanks for the advice and opinion.

The recent SEC action against Binance which triggered panic selling and a significant drop in Bitcoin with price decreased more than $1500 in a single session. It is likely that Bitcoin market will continue facing such volatility in coming weeks and months, as this is how Bitcoin market has been behaving historically which is its inherent characteristic. However, as long term investors, we should not overly concerned about such negative development and remain committed to our long term strategy.

Also, I doubt anyone just achieves "extensive knowledge" without a lot of practice and making improvements along the way, so likely each and everyone of us start out as being pretty dumb in a lot of ways, and there are ways that some people learn more along the way as compared with others and some people are also persistent in their various ways of pursuing knowledge and attempting to actually apply that knowledge to the real world - rather than ongoingly speculating about various fantasy worlds.

Appreciate your comment that understanding the importance of applying knowledge  is crucial in real life situations. Simply acquisition of knowledge without any intention or desire doesn't helps or serves and purpose for the society. True knowledge extends beyond theories and hypothesis scenarios. Genuine learning comes from actively engaging with people and apply your knowledge to solve the problem what society is facing.

The same principle can be applied to Bitcoin investment by utilizing our learning for making informed decision, which can lead to financial stability in our life.
1237  Economy / Economics / Re: How to increase profit in business on: June 05, 2023, 03:21:20 PM
At present all companies already have sufficient employees for all the purposes they carry out, but to increase profits I think the products they issue must have a difference that can attract use among the public, and we also have to make a special offer so that buyers can enjoy our products so that we will have more and more customers and the profits we get will of course also increase, and at this time we can see very many large companies that always have special offers that can be accepted by the public.

You are right that during the ongoing crisis, economic challenges are very tough, and it has become hard for the companies to maintain their headcounts. Consequently, some large companies are considering downsizing to reduce their expenses. Therefore, to survive in the market, companies have to find innovative ways for the continuity of their business. One effective approach could be to focus on providing better quality of products/services at competitive price.
1238  Economy / Economics / Re: How to increase profit in business on: June 05, 2023, 10:13:00 AM
Please feel free to drop your own ideas on how to increase profit in businesses.

Thanks for sharing your valuable experience to increase profit in business. Your strategies to offer discounts, rewards and stocking diverse brands of goods are certainly effective and produce good results. Additionally, focus on operation efficiency to reduce cost, trains your team  to identify opportunities for up-selling and cross selling as well as invest in marketing and advertising your products and services, which will potentially boost your sale revenue and ultimately result in increased profit.

I don't need any particular technique for your Bitcoin holders just store it in a hardware wallet and it's safe and no one will reach it individually, no need to worry about tracking the flow of funds because we haven't committed a crime so what is there to be afraid of?

You are absolutely right in stating that investing in Bitcoin is not inherently illegal. However, it is  unfortunate that in some parts of the world, investing/trading in crypto currencies is considered illegal, which is seen as unfair fair and against the interest of general public. In this situation, safeguarding privacy of investment is crucial to avoid any unforeseen circumstances.

It is essential for all of  us to persistently raise our voices on all available platforms to advocate the regulation of Bitcoin. This concentrated effort can build pressure on legislators to address this long standing issue that affects many.
1240  Economy / Economics / Re: UAE is the biggest gold buyer of Russia during this war on: June 04, 2023, 12:33:50 PM

At a time when most countries are devastated by the war, some countries take advantage of the opportunity to acquire huge wealth. But if the poor countries go to buy something, they are harassed and banned in various restrictions. Don't you think this policy is cruel to poor countries?

It is common that during the period of economic uncertainty and regional conflicts, individuals and countries buy Gold as it is considered best hedge against inflation. The other reason of buying Gold is that  many countries are reducing their dependence on US dollar and diversifying their reserves with Gold and other prominent currencies including Euro and Chinese Yuan.
As far sanctions on trade with Russia are concerned, I think there are many countries involved in buying Russian oil and goods including UAE(United Arab Emirates) despite these measures, which raises question about their effectiveness and discriminatory behaviors of those responsible to implementing them.
