1081  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian oil and UK on: August 02, 2023, 08:10:57 AM
Sanctions have worked to an extent, but I don't believe sanctions can make Russia stop the war. This looks like a war in that the ego plays a very big role. Neither Russia nor Ukraine nor NATO would want to agree that they've been defeated.
Without the sanctions, Russia would have been able to do more harm to its enemies through economic means and otherwise. At this point, they're just looking for ways to survive whatever sanction that gets thrown at them and they've been managing well so far.

You have a raised valid concerns regarding limitations of economic sanctions in achieving desired outcomes. Economic sanctions may initially produce some results , but later targeted countries devise strategies to mitigate their impact on their economies overtime, and same thing is happening in Russia Ukraine conflict now.

The Russia Ukraine ongoing conflict has led to heavy human causalities, collateral damage and economic difficulties all over the world. We should raise our voices to exert pressure on political leaders to find effective ways to bring this devastating conflict to an end.
1082  Economy / Economics / Re: I think SEC was right this time as they sues Crypto Influencer -Richard Heart on: August 01, 2023, 11:38:54 PM
I don't see it as a piece of bad news to the crypto space because a crime was dictated by the SEC and the person behind it will be persecuted. So it is a piece of good news that the people giving the crypto space a bad image is been identified and sued. This is another reason why people that want to make quick cash from the industry should have a rethink. There is also a need not to listen to all the hype from some of these celebrities that promote unverified projects because most of them are not genuine. If you don't do your research, regrets might be the outcome.

You are absolutely right that SEC taking action against Richard Hart is not bad news, in fact it is positive development that bad actors are being filtered out from crypto space, which is good for long term growth and adoption of crypto currencies. However, a valid concern in this regard is why SEC took so much time to establish charges against him while he has been involved such illegal activities for many years. It is important for regulatory authorities to be more vigilant and proactive in their actions against such wrongdoers to maintain the integrity and trust of crypto industry.
1083  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid Procrastination, Buy Bitcoin And Prepare For The Next Halving. on: August 01, 2023, 10:53:42 AM
Right now we might be in a bull season, even if we have a bit of a plateau for the past nearly 5 months.

It appears that we are already in early stage of bull run, this trend is supported by technical analysis. Currently Bitcoin is trading above both 200 daily moving average (DMA) and 21 weekly Moving average. These levels are widely recognized as indicators of bullish zones in the market. There is growing optimism among prominent market analysts that Bitcoin may surpass $45,000 mark by the end of 2023, as BlackRock ETF is likely to be approved by SEC. Let's remain optimistic and continue accumulating Bitcoin on every significant dip.
1084  Economy / Economics / Re: Dubai Dirham and russian rubles are like some low Cap cheap coins now on: August 01, 2023, 04:32:19 AM
bro If you love fiat then buy it or trade it on Forex it is also a form of investment but in my opinion, If I were you I would definitely buy crypto instead of fiat especially bitcoin. Remember inflation is a monster.

Inflation is a major concern for all of us as it erodes value of our assets, and Bitcoin is considered one of the best hedge against inflation due to its limited supply capped at 21 Million coins. Investment in Bitcoin is relatively a prudent decision, in its historical context, as it has demonstrated outstanding performance since it was launched in 2009. Moreover, halving event in mid 2024 makes it an attractive investment choice for medium term investment. When we evaluate all these advantages, Bitcoin appears to be a more favorable option compared to fiat currencies, such as Russian Ruble or Dubai Dirham
1085  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid Procrastination, Buy Bitcoin And Prepare For The Next Halving. on: August 01, 2023, 12:52:27 AM
How dangerous it is to invest in Bitcoin with borrowed funds when we know it is trustworthy.
Should I borrow money to invest in Bitcoin as I trust it more than all other coins? Remember that the loan I will take out will have to be repaid after a year, in light of the upcoming Bitcoin halving.

Investing in Bitcoin for one year period with borrowed money might be considered a prudent decision, in the context of 2024 being halving year, and historical patterns/trends suggest that mostly Bitcoin makes new all time high (ATH) after the halving year. However, it is important to approach this strategy with caution and backup plan in case things may not go as expected. In order to mitigate the risks associated with borrowed funds, it is essential to have alternate means to repay your loan, if the price of Bitcoin doesn't reach the anticipated levels within a year.
1086  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid Procrastination, Buy Bitcoin And Prepare For The Next Halving. on: July 31, 2023, 04:23:15 PM
Opportunities don't always come and you don't always have to wait for opportunities, you have to create them yourself. Those who risked investing in Bitcoin after the price of Bitcoin reached $16K are successful today, but those who were waiting for the market to fall further are still waiting for an opportunity. So those who want to invest, make a little courage in your mind and definitely invest with risk. I hope you will not be cheated by investing.

Your point regarding timing to invest in Bitcoin is indeed valid, as opportunities may not always align with our expectations. Nevertheless, there are ways to explore buying opportunities by using technical Indicators and charts, such as, RSI, MACD and Moving averages Indicators. Understanding and learning to use them doesn't demand much efforts and time, and there are numerous tutorial videos available on social media platforms in various languages. By utilizing these, investors can enhance their ability to identify favorable moments to take entry in Bitcoin market.
1087  Economy / Economics / Re: Dubai Dirham and russian rubles are like some low Cap cheap coins now on: July 31, 2023, 09:21:09 AM
The Russian Ruble is often perceived as less attractive for investment due to its heavy reliance on energy resources which limits the versatility of Russian economy. In contrast, Dubai is relatively an open and investor friendly country with significant oil reserves, and an emerging economy in the middle east. For long term investors , Chinese currency appears more suitable because it is second largest economy of the world, with strong export based industries and rapid technological advancement in all sectors of industries.
1088  Economy / Economics / Re: Consumptions and productions on: July 31, 2023, 04:06:30 AM
Until we realizes some limitations and restrictions, we would either not actualize our high level of energymatics and  how creatively productive we may be from our local to the international sectors.

If I am understanding correctly,  you are talking about importance of recognizing the constrains to fully exploit our potential in various domains including energy related knowledge and creativity. It is true that by understanding these limitations and restrictions we become more mindful of our capacities and set realistic expectations for ourselves in both in personnel and professional pursuits.
1089  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid Procrastination, Buy Bitcoin And Prepare For The Next Halving. on: July 30, 2023, 06:57:59 PM
I don't know about the others but I find it easy to buy bitcoins at low prices and can continue to live my life at a normal rate because I have multiple sources of income. Others are still in doubt about their potential financial growth with bitcoins and they are still pending their decision to buy bitcoins because they thought they might not get their capital if the price will decrease again. Well! these things are not new to us because we've been to their place before and most of us took time to consider investing for the first time the result is mostly positive because we also took our time to research and to know what the right thing to do is before buying bitcoins.

Indeed, it is a prudent approach to accumulate Bitcoin whenever market provides an opportunity to buy at lower price. I personally don't bother much about day-to-day fluctuation in market price of Bitcoin and always focus on long tern goals. We should also keep an eye on events those can potentially change the outlook of Bitcoin for short to medium term and one of such events is scheduled in mid-August when SEC will announce its decision on BlackRock ETF. Halving is also significant but it is likely to impact Bitcoin price  from 2nd to last quarter of 2024.
1090  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Twitter Stock Experience the same Rise? on: July 30, 2023, 01:51:17 AM
Yes, they are actually in transition period. It is expected to have some issues but I know it will resolve soon, I am just wondering why he made the Twitter logo as "X" is he trying to rebrand Twitter? but all in all what I hate in new feature of Twitter I can't send message if someone doesn't following me, sometimes I am sending messages to our telecommunication company if we don't have internet but because of that I can't do it anymore.

It is challenging to speculate why Elon Musk changed the logo of twitter, but I think he has something bigger in his mind that might entirely reshape the social media landscape. The redesigned logo, featuring X, hints at a new social media platform with potential for extensive communication and integrated financial transactions capabilities. It is exciting to wait and see what developments will unfold in this regard.
1091  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid Procrastination, Buy Bitcoin And Prepare For The Next Halving. on: July 29, 2023, 02:27:40 AM
Yeah, but the profits from trading do not tend to work like a building and building and building scenario, because even though it might appear that the trading and the investment portfolio are building, if the sizes of the positions are not properly hedged in both directions (even if they might be leaning in one direction), making one decent sized mistake will frequently take profits away from several successive successful trades.

So maybe a trader keeps winning and winning and winning, but s/he might not sufficiently hedge on one occasion, and then all of a sudden his/her trading portfolio amount is back down to the amount that s/he started with or even worse less than what s/he started with.

Indeed, trading Bitcoin can often lead to reduction in Bitcoin amount one holds, as predicting its price accurately consistently is highly challenging job. Some new comers also try their luck in margin or future trading with the hope that they can rapidly increase their Bitcoin holding but unfortunately, most of them end up in entire loss of their account balance when market goes against their trade.

In summary, the prudent path to witness impressive results is to accumulate Bitcoin by employing Dollar cost averaging (DCA), as you suggested in your many posts, even in small portions, and wait for the next halving to yield substantial gains.
1092  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The beauty of Bitcoin is in use case. on: July 28, 2023, 03:02:03 PM
The more businesses begin to integrate crypto payment in their daily  activities, the more we see real progress regarding the entire concept.

As of today, over 60,000 electric vehicle charging stations now accept Bitcoin across Europe,
thanks to Lightening Network (source: https://mycryptowallet.com.au/news/bitcoin/bitcoin-now-accepted-at-60000-ev-charging-stations-across-europe/). Many businesses are also joining this trend as they realise the advantages offered by this amazing technology. Gradually,  we will see even deeper penetration of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency at large.

It is a very positive news that Bitcoin payment system is being integrated for daily business activities. This development demonstrates the progress of Bitcoin adoption that all Bitcoin enthusiasts have been eagerly striving for since years. It would be beneficial to use Bitcoin lightening network for small business owners and retailer to keep cost of transactions minimal, for both the businesses and customers.
1093  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Twitter Stock Experience the same Rise? on: July 28, 2023, 06:51:17 AM
The financial statements are not wrong, Twitter is losing money is true, but that doesn't mean it's dead or Elon has failed. I find it quite amusing that so many people have started criticizing or gloating when Twitter has gone downhill since it was acquired by Elon. But they forget that business is not always smooth, especially when we are going through a severe economic crisis. Maybe he and Twitter are going through tough times, but I don't think he would be stupid to spend $46 billion without knowing what he's doing. Don't forget that he is the richest man in the world and he runs 5 different companies. Meanwhile, who are the people who laugh at him, and what success have they achieved?

I'm not defending him nor being a fan of him but we need to look at the fact that he is a genius and I believe he will soon bring Twitter back to its glory days.

While, It is true that financial statement reflect the true financial condition of a company for a specific period. However, the stock price of a company not necessarily shows its true value, as generally stock markets operate on perception and sentiments driven by big players. A notable example is covide-19 era, when stock market went bullish despite global economy facing significant challenges. Another crucial factor is, rising interest rates, which is affecting profitability of many sectors of the economy. Looking ahead , we should wait for the release of new version of twitter, and how it comes up to expectations of its users. This significant aspect could potentially determine the future prospects of twitter.
1094  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Twitter Stock Experience the same Rise? on: July 28, 2023, 12:48:53 AM
It is true that Elon musk's some experiments with twitter didn't go well for the company and led to controversies. However, it is possible that something better and innovative is in the works, which will provide customers with more flexibilities and options. As a visionary and creative entrepreneur, he is well aware that we are living in a highly competitive world, hence there is a possibility new changes in twitter might get a better response from its users and adds value to its stock and overall market perception..
1095  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Days you need to work your ass at minimum wage for a BTC, by country on: July 27, 2023, 04:20:36 PM
It's good to learn every day, and Moreover we aren't parfect on anything so the best idea is always keep our self busy because the more we work the more knowledge we aqure.
If we have a low income by month end you can live your country because their will not be enough money to do so, that's what everybody wanted, living your country to another is also called learning, the type of work you do depends the amount of Bitcoin you hold, op if you are saying this I don't think you have store enough Bitcoin.

Indeed, developing a learning mindset is beneficial for the whole life. Learning new things every day is not only helpful to gain knowledge but also enables us to adapt changing circumstances and grow as individuals. It is important to note that beside formal educational from universities, we need to build skills, such as content writing, software development, marketing expertise to generate extra income for investing in Bitcoin and accumulate one Bitcoin, that can potentially alter the financial future of our families.
1096  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk and others urge AI pause, citing 'risks to society' on: July 27, 2023, 10:28:19 AM
The fear towards artificial intelligence, in my opinion, it is understandable.
A few years ago getting these kind of deep fakes was matter of science fiction, also the way now people can prompt a machine to make images for them from text looks like something out of a sci-fi movie from the 2000s.

People with bad intentions could use these tools for extremely convincing misinformation campaigns, to incite other into violence and influence over society. No mention how this will likely transform the relation between humankind and labor in the long term.

These are valid concerns and apprehension of many people who are afraid that AI technology can be misused for malicious purposes. The rapid technological advancement in AI has also created deep fake  and convincing tools those can create manipulative content.

In order to address these issues, society need to behave responsibly and governments need to work towards making appropriate regulation to maintain ethical and moral values of the society.
1097  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if salaries were paid in BTC on: July 27, 2023, 05:41:42 AM
In theory, the idea of paying salaries in Bitcoin seems promising , with it potential as a store of value and precious asset. It could also encourage employees to save portion of their earnings in Bitcoin for future appreciation in its value. However in practical there can be many consequences for employers and employees. The primary issue is volatility in Bitcoin price over short periods, this can make it difficult for employees to evaluate their purchase power to buy goods and services and planning their expenses. While employers will also find it difficult to budget and forecast their labor costs.

In summary, this approach can work effectively when Bitcoin is massively regulated and adopted as method of payment, and we will be able to use Bitcoin for everything for our daily transactions.
1098  Economy / Economics / Re: Fed on brink of fifth(?) round of quantitative easing on: July 26, 2023, 06:10:26 PM
Good for people (not just whales) who want to buy BTC at a cheaper price.

You are correct, Bitcoin price  is likely to be very volatile after the interest rate decision announcement. This economic event can provide good opportunity to accumulate Bitcoin at around $28,500 which is its strong support. Let's keep our fingers crossed and wait, how Bitcoin market plays out in the next one hour.
1099  Economy / Economics / Re: Fed on brink of fifth(?) round of quantitative easing on: July 26, 2023, 12:16:24 PM
The peculiarity of the banking sector is that it is highly dependent on the trust of customers. Therefore, all public talking heads will convince the general public to the last that everything is fine (three days before the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank, its shares were in the status of recommended for purchase).

Indeed, trust is the fundamental factor in functioning of Banking system. The confidence of general public in a bank can significantly impact its stability and growth.
The cause of consecutive collapse of Banks in USA could be attributed to aggressive increase in interest rates policy of FED. This Money tightening policy has led to unfavorable business environment and made challenging for banks to survive. This situation will exert pressure on FED to review its current policy and make necessary adjustments.

All eyes are on Federal Reserve's monetary policy announcement today, it is hoped that pause in interest rates will continue to reduce some pressure on banking sector.
1100  Economy / Economics / Re: Has everyone become too pesimistic about the economy? on: July 26, 2023, 05:51:57 AM
I'm a pleb like most of you, and I too have, many times, become pesimistic about the economy in general and in what's about to come. But has anyone ever considered that,

- The economy is not going to crash into a recession
- That there will be an actual soft landing
- That the Russia - Ukraine war will not escalate into a European war
- That Gensler CAN'T truly ban crypto
- Institutional investors will come back and take Bitcoin to six digits

I'm probably missing more narratives, but you get the idea.

The prevailing state of economy is understandable and concerning for all of us, however world has learned bitter lessons from past recessions, therefore FED and central banks all over the world are doing all they can to avert risk of recession. The central banks are equipped with sufficient tools/options, such as quantitative easing (QE) and buying back securities to address many economic challenges including inflation and threat of recession.

Looking ahead, the future outlook of Bitcoin is promising, as major institutions like BlackRock are showing their interest by submitting ETF requests. Moreover,  awareness about its technology is spreading worldwide at a fast pace.
