Finally, it's looking good now as far as datas and notifications are concerned! Just a premium design like bpip or a normal design would make the website more attractive now. Feel free to design something ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I'm only using theymos' CSS now to display raw HTML from posts exactly how they should be. "Design" has never been my priority, I don't mind reading just raw data, but it wouldn't hurt to make it a bit better. As long as it doesn't require much more work to produce, and no flash/javascript or anything other than CSS.

I feel like I'm repeating myself, but thanks again for your impeccable timing!

Therefore this would be a job for someone like loyceV or Vod potentially. I have my unedited posts already: if the forum doesn't work and the directory on the top hasn't been updated in the last minute, chances are the problem is not just with your own internet connection.

Test Nope, something's was broken It works for other users though. It's fixed: It turns out your "$" turns into "$" in quotes, but not when you're mentioned. As a workaround, I now remove the "$" before searching for matches.Weird characters in usernames have always been difficult to deal with, and there are much weirder ones than "$" so this is not a permanent fix. @coinlocket$: you went from 9 to 40 notifications. Thanks for reporting and enjoy! You should still replace your I:1339716 with ignoreuser:1339716 I: doesn't work ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

Regarding the first one, a link is probably enough since we would surely be visiting the topic once the notification triggers no matter what. Add this to your preferences code-tag: fullquotesorjustlinks:justlinks You could probably consider eddie13 idea as well. A "clear" button could also be nice, to "clear" my notifications page of all the read content and wipe it clean.. I can't do that without a much more complicate account system. But since the pages are published publicly, instead of a clear button auto-deletion of the whole webpage after 90 days - 120 days might be a better alternative so that we could trash all the notifications once we have read that or replied to. I forgot to add it to the OP: notifications older than 7 days are removed. I might make this customizable later, but only if I can make it less resource-intensive first. The idea could be something like, each webpage can have 25-30 notifications. Once 31st notification reaches, it would be posted in second page and so on. After 90-120 days the oldest webpage would be automatically deleted? Can you do something like this? I think this makes things more complicated than needed. There must be people here who can create something practical and useful for loyce.club
I will try to help you with this if I have time! Though I am not a HTML designer, but can ask a friend or someone to do that and can submit the code to you. Either way will try to help, but need time to contact them. I made CONTEST: design loyce.club home page for this ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)
I have noticed that after clicking the links that they turn purple instead of blue, so that is an effective enough placemarker for me now, especially that I have changed it to "justlinks".. That's a (very old and barely used) browser feature. I didn't do anything for that ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) And I think it only keeps 7 days of notifications available? Correct.

I could see decaying airdropped merit, though I'm not convinced of it currently. If it was done, it may be best to do something like this: - Your current activity score as of <whenever this change would be done> is recorded, which I'll call EPOCH_ACTIVITY. - Your merit score is defined as max(0, AIRDROPPED_MERIT-(CURRENT_ACTIVITY-EPOCH_ACTIVITY)/7) + EARNED_MERIT. If I understand this correctly, I see several flaws: 1. A user can increase his Merit score by deleting old posts (which reduces his Activity) 2. Users without airdropped Merit would start losing their earned Merit because it's not limited to AIRDROPPED_MERIT 3. Users who run out of airdropped Merit will also start losing their earned MeritUpdate: DdmrDdmr is right, I was wrong! I've suggested before to link decaying airdropped Merit to post count, not activity. This prevents an old user with more posts than Activity from losing his rank when he returns to the forum and makes just 1 post (and his activity goes up by 14).

It depends on you. If you can dump data weekly, I will definitely make weekly updates too. It depends on you. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I only think such big stats won't change too much weekly. How about you ask me for an update every six months or so?

It works but honestly I don't think I should ask you to run your computer one day just to do this. It sounds crazy.

Yes, I just need at least one variable in the two datasets to merge them together, but what did you mean by 'the board'? Is it the board's name or the board's id number. I can use both of them but it is more convenient for me if you have board's id number. How's this? topicID:boardID1:offlimits 5:1 6:1 7:1 8:1 9:1 12:6 13:1 15:223 16:1 20:5 22:6 30:5 34:1 41:1 I'm currently not scraping Investigations as it's a hidden board. If you really want data on that board too, I'll have to scrape with an account that logs in, but I prefer not to. If the above list works for you, I'll run it. It'll take a day to complete. I could also wait until next Friday's Merit data dump is included.

Firstly, to confirm, is 'input' the sender/spender and 'output' the receiver of the bitcoins? Correct. Is the link above ONE transaction, i.e. when a person pays x BTCs from his wallet to another wallet? Yes. If so, why are there multiple ins and outs? The sender uses Bitcoins from different addresses. Compare it to paying in cash: you give a $20, a $10 and a $1 bill. One transaction can pay to more than one address. In this case, there are 2 outputs, so it's likely one of them is a change address owned by the sender. In dollar terms: think of it as getting a nickel back. Is the 'hash' (also in the URL) basically the 'transaction reference (or number)' so to speak? Yes. Is the fee (0.00105 BTC in the example) always paid by and deducted from the sender? Yes. Note that this fee was much higher than needed for this transaction.

Any other specific requirements? Not really. Like color preferences, theme or you want something that just looks good and serves the purpose of the site? I'm really not into designing things, so I have no idea. But "serving the purpose" sounds about right. I haven't done HTML/CSS in a while but wouldn't mind spending a couple of hours over the weekend. - I'm in ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Thanks ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)
Are you actually uploading files to your computer/server every week? Yes. If so, this may be a good time to move to a more efficient way of handling your data. Getting a VPS would largely improve things for someone who doesn't know a thing about databases. I'll wait to see if someone comes up with something much better than I could ever create before attempting anything by myself ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Those two lines have very different formats (different hierarchical formats, I meant). It's just taken from the HTML links on top of each page. Different child boards have different "depths", that's what makes it "messy". This one is what I need. time amount board/subboard_idnumber user_from user_to 1576204400 2 24 18321 307884
How about just the topicID (say: "5209104" taken from the msgID: "5209104.msg53329921") and the board? Is that enough to combine with my merit.all.txt ? That shouldn't be too hard to scrape. See Ignore Boards Preferences, then view the page source. Thanks for your informative explanations, but I have not yet had knowledge and skills to scrap data (in any methods). I will try to learn it. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) This can literally be done in one (long) line of code ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

What language are you running this on? I could try helping you with a Telegram bot. Not now tho, since Im not even on my homes continent. ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) I'm just using a shell script. For a Telegram bot it would be nice if I can just provide the data that the bot processes, but that's the long-term plan. For now I spend my free time improving the current version.
Would you be so kind to put a link to this thread in your loycev.club home page? I've already bookmarked it but it's so easy to have everything on one place. I don't own loycev.club, it's loyce.club ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) I've added this to my TODO. But it might be better to get a community designed frontpage for this. I never really cared about the design, but I keep adding crap features, and for some reason people start looking for it at loyce.club instead of Bitcointalk How about a design contest? There must be people here who can create something practical and useful for loyce.club where the winner gets eternal (or at least for a while) fame? It's easy to remember the your website. Lol ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) You're not making a very strong argument here considering you wrote the wrong site ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Or maybe make a notifications.tk for that purpose ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Those only last for a year unless I start paying them, and I'm not looking for an increasing number of domain names to maintain. BTW just saw that " asu" has some issues when notified, i thoguth I would let you know> It's known ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I now do a very dumb case insensitive search on the raw HTML from each post. I need more time to improve this. My first priority was to get this working, that's why I published it for testing from the moment I decided to make this (just 2 days ago). For "LoyceV", it's okay to search for anything. For "asu", it's going to have to change to ignore "asu" as part of a bigger word. some common word usernames will have issues for sure. Once I separate quotes from mentiones, asu can only subscribe to quotes, and add "@asu" as an alias to find. But as I said: I need more time.

I've created loads of useful data on Bitcointalk, and there are many more topics too. I host most of my data on loyce.club, which was never meant to be a landing page when someone needs my data. However, I've been asked before to add an index there, and it would be nice to have a better page design. See loyce.club for the current design. So here it goes: Is there someone willing to create something nice with CSS and other magic? It should still be easy to (manually) add new links to other data in the future, and I prefer no complicated stuff with scripting or databases and stuff, but just something to make it look a bit better! I'm hoping to make this a community thing: it could be community voted if there are more entries, or it could be just anything. There's not really a budget for designs, if you do this you do it for the community, and for eternal fame while it lasts ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Obviously, this topic was a rush-job too, and I like to use it to make the point that I'm absolutely not into making good-looking designs Self-moderated against spam.

On chain Have you tried: menu (3 dots) > Network Info > RESET NETWORK DATABASE (on the receiving wallet)? I've had it too that Eclair didn't show confirmations for an on-chain transaction long after it was confirmed, and resetting the database solved it. If that doesn't work, you can use your seed phrase to restore the wallet (or private key) through other means.

It appears there's something wrong in your post/format. The link (the first line) will have to be outside the code tag. Correct! @bitmover: listen to Darker45 ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) You also have some additional code-tags in your post. It seems to work nonetheless, but that might change once my code includes more details. I am not sure what fullquotes is, just following everyone fullquotes: show the entire post (see Example). justlinks: only show a link to each post (see Example). @Darker45: please don't quote code-tags, you might accidentally copy bitmover's settings.
