UFC fight night 221 in Las Vegas is about to kick-off with the early prelims in 30 minutes.
So if you were holding off to put in your bets now is time to put them in before the prelims start right after.
Here are the line up of matches:

After a a disappointing loss at the hands of Bournemouth, Liverpool really messed up alot of bets today including the high odds betslip I had.
It was the very first leg of my acca using that free bet. So lost nothing for it.
So moving on like we always have on here! Smiley

Sportsbet Special is up for the Manchester city match and should be an easy hit with over 9.5 corners & Haaland to score!
They will definitely be pressing hard so the corners should be halfway there before the first half ends.

https://sportsbet.io/sports/sportsbet-specials/matches/today

I will take those kind of bets everyday of the week in the EPL as they are still hunting Arsenal for first place in the league's top spot to regain the championship!

Edit: Just 2 corners shy of it being a good weekend special

^^
Twitter having a rival competitor is certainly surprising to read about and it being facebook or meta after it's rebranding is sort of a shock since they could of had done it when Elon Musk took over several months ago.
Because at this point he is just getting a foot hold of how he wants the company to operate and has already settled into his role as CEO.

The first time I actually started noticing the cases they were taking on was after watching them talk on another well known podcaster Lex Fridman.

Coffeezilla: SBF, FTX, Fraud, Scams, Fake Gurus, Money, Fame, and Power | Lex Fridman Podcast #345
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hi9Rf0oLdHk
At nearly 4 hours long it does take several sessions to get through but very informative and if interested in the subject matter does not take long to get into.

But there is a shortened version if you are only concerned about the FTX part of the interview/podcast:
The Full SBF and FTX Fraud Saga | Coffeezilla and Lex Fridman
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYV0xBxJqNY

As well about frauds known as those Internet Gurus who tell you want you want to hear:

Bitboy crypto even had made a video about him because at first they had thought Coffeezilla was doing a hit piece on him:

The only match that looks competitive enough to bet on later on today would be Faze vs Ninjas.
As the odds should be decent enough to back either team.
That seems like a good match to pick over 2.5 based on their last meeting and the odds are leaning towards Faze winning but I think we'll see NiP put on the pressure.

On the other hand, Valve finally took action and handed lifetime bans on several players in the CN region including Knights and EHOME players.

https://reddit.com/r/DotA2/comments/11mmgue/just_now_valve_and_perfectworld_released_an/
Bet on only two of the matches in Pro League yesterday and won them both so a good 3x is always great to have going into the weekend. So to have some bank to bet on the sports and matches you have been looking forward to seeing all week long.
Faze just made ninjas in pyjamas look like they belonged in their academy team the young ninjas.
No contention and not even a challenge getting the 2 - 0 win above them. They were on a roll and even Twistzz winked at the camera after a round which they just made them look like amateurs and a bunch of kids.
Very embarrassing match for NiP and anyone who is a fan of this CS:GO team.

About those DOTA2 lifetime bans: If this is a professional organization then it was warranted to distribute this permanent sentence upon these players.
When there is this amount of prize money involved then there should be no going against the rules no matter who you are and what your reputation is.

Spurs win + Kane on the specials today at 3/1 is tempting but I'm actually thinking they crash out tonight, and PSG win (not sure if enough to progress). So I'll just keep my money for today and regret tomorrow heh.

darxiaomi: Is it weird I actually understood that betslip and didn't realise it was Spanish until I read your post? Sometimes I think I just assume things from numbers (19.5 was all I needed to see haha).
hahaha yes man the brain works in that way, you dont need full info to know what that means XD. Plus its bad transalted to the spanish, because were yellow cards but i dont know why the translator put something like "reserve points"

Well seems like it was a good day for SB sponsored by us.
Lost in Translation does not seem to bother us bettors.
I think I have seen some in portuguese and had to double check the settings to make sure it was set to english. Even had it show up as Japanese for some other markets such as horse racing. But it is all good!
There is only one language for betting and that is A WIN hard cold and no denying it at the end.

As I had seen @slaman29 had a very respectable win on the Barcelona vs Real Madrid match a week ago.
Also having used his own stake amount then he received all of his winnings straight to his balance.

He is a necessary evil some might say since he does own the most influential (whether you agree or not) platform on the planet.
Also with being a holder of bitcoin, can make the main goal of any financial sound method of payment being global integration in it's system.

As you can see it was all over the main stream media in the past few days, it is in the spotlight with all that is going on in the courts with regulation and having another exchange (Kucoin) being pressured by New York congress yesterday causing the price to plummet.
1648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: March 09, 2023, 12:55:51 PM
Great game on Thursday coming up don't forget to mark the calendars, I put a prediction freebet on already for Arsenal and added it as a multibet with tonight's Champions League game on PSG!

Not such a big amount compared to bets shared here, but if it hits, it will be really big for me Wink

Did anyone imagine Arsenal would be competing for a "small" double this season?
Yes because after seeing your comment on the Sportsbet.io Ann thread above you had said you were going to be betting on some match in Champions league so why not show the betslip here before the match.
Ouch! If I knew it was going to be a loss maybe keep it to yourself next time. Cheesy

But don't worry about it, I had the exact same thing happen to me with my bet believing in a Paris St.Germain win:

It was a small stake amount so nothing lost and with your freebet for the one above in your post, you didn't lose anything either as it being only a factious stake with no funds deposited to use on your wager.
I put in a similar bet but in an acca @793.88x odds for the next Arsenal match in the EPL during the weekend.
So if that does not hit. Again: Not a thing lost.
1649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 Oscar Awards betting and discussions on: March 09, 2023, 12:21:48 PM
Here in India, a lot of hype was generated after the song "Naatu Naatu" got shortlisted. And there is a good chance that it may win the Oscar for best original song. This time the media is also covering the Oscars with a lot of interest, since the song got shortlisted. The song is taken out from the Indian film RRR, which was a grand success at the box office when it was released. The last time an Indian entry won the Oscar was way back in 2009, when AR Rahman won the award for best song (Jai Ho from the movie Slumdog Millionaire).
That name of the film that won over a decade ago brought back memories of an Indian having a major role in an Oscar winning film.
Had not even heard of this film RRR being nominated before so thank you for mentioning it because after just doing a quick search, it does look like an interesting watch.
I like these type of period pieces and having it set in India makes it that much more intriguing to audiences here in North America.

The only film I had seen was Everything Everywhere All At Once on the list of nominees for this years Academy Awards.
Only because it was on a streaming service so no necessity to go to the theater for about a year now.
Probably will just wait for Avatar way of water to drop on there as well.
1650  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk is for crypto or just for attention to boost Tesla, SpaceX? on: March 09, 2023, 12:09:15 PM
^^
He has disowned doge and his title of the doge father since then. Bitcoin, well that is still to be seen according to how much Tesla Corporation still holds.

The most important question to be asked is Do we like Elon Musk here? If yes, then we will appreciate his tweet regardless of what he has to say because it is Elon Musk. If not, we'll probably continue to hate it. Despite all the great things he has done. In general, Musk is a visionary and a great entrepreneur who has a lot of experience and success in all fields, including philanthropy. He is the CEO of Tesla Motors, Inc and SpaceX.
That is debatable since everybody has their own view on the doge father. But I am to guess we can not call him that any longer since he has since separated himself with that project.
I don't think anybody really likes what he has done since his acquisition of twitter with all the media outlets showing pictures of how employees have been treated at their offices globally and the emails documented disclosed in their arguments towards the billionaire.
1651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: March 09, 2023, 10:49:57 AM
My bet builder ended in a similar fashion as well with only the booking leg not hitting on the Bayern vs PSG match.  Tongue

I've also prepared this multi for the EL and ECL matches later today though. Arsenal's three-way odds look great but the odds on their DNB is still good enough as I see this one potentially ending with a draw.

With my disaster at UEFA Champions league play last night thought I would try my luck at Europa league instead.
Placed my bet on the Arsenal match with an unders galore betbuilder.

Let's see how applying a new betting strategy works this time.
1652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: March 09, 2023, 10:03:07 AM
Placing bets on ESL Pro league yesterday was pretty easy from the way the odds were shown for each match.
Faze clan beat Rooster who play against Pain today and Ninja in Pyjamas won against them with both matches ending in a predictable 2-0 defeat of the weaker sides.

The only match that looks competitive enough to bet on later on today would be Faze vs Ninjas.
As the odds should be decent enough to back either team.
1653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 08, 2023, 11:09:11 PM
Somebody on a sports chat put their bet up Toronto Raptors to beat L.A Clippers for tonight at a whopping $20k on one betslip and $10k on another with them winning at a -1.5 handicap.
Those are some pretty hefty bets with the Raptors being the underdogs with odds @2.18x last I checked.
I will be staying away from that matchup since there are alot of money on this matchup than normal where I place my bets.
So will be having mine on Boston Celtics and Phoenix Suns in an acca so to keep it abit easier tonight with having a loss on my 4 leg one placed where only 2 ML&overs managed to hit.
1654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another attempt at Bitcoin ETF..You knew it was coming once BTC raised above ATH on: March 08, 2023, 11:00:41 PM
I think it’s inevitable that there will eventually be a Bitcoin ETF. We’ve certainly been hearing about it long enough at this point. I recently read that if it doesn’t get approved that VanEck is thinking about suing the SEC, which would be pretty interesting to see, especially as someone who hates the SEC.
Over a year later it is in the courts and Grayscale's case against the SEC ruling was put infront of the court with a judge possibly siding against the SEC from the recent occurrences of them dropping the ball on many other cryptocurrency lawsuits put into play.

source: https://cryptoslate.com/judges-question-secs-logic-during-grayscales-first-appeals-hearing

https://www.reuters.com/legal/court-set-hear-arguments-grayscales-lawsuit-against-sec-over-bitcoin-fund-2023-03-07

From all these articles it looks to be close to having an approval of a spot ETF even without SEC it being over ruled in the courts.

1656  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Coffeezilla "Stephen Findeisen" goes on Joe Rogan's podcast discuss cryptoscams on: March 08, 2023, 01:38:28 PM
This was an interesting set to see late last night while surfing my usual youtube channels seeing a clip of the well-known Bitcoin & Cryptocurrency scam detective Coffeezilla who had inteviewed Sam Bankman Fried right before FTX CEO was set to be prosecuted before the court.

He was first mentioned back in November 2022 on the famous podcast hosted by none other than Joe Rogan announcer of the UFC corporation.
Talking about how Stephen Findeisen better known by his cyber sleuth name Coffeezilla had exposed and has put authorities on the biggest fraudsters and scammers in the bitcoin and cryptocurrency sector.
The full podcast can be viewed here where they discuss the role he played in the collapse of FTX as he crashed the interviews of Sam Bankman Fried several time and even made the former FTX CEO show the kink in his amour when he specifically called him by name and stated to stop coming on there to ask him these type of questions. Nobody else caused the normally scripted SBF to go off his tangent and get upset live on those streams.

I really like Alexa Grasso in what she has accomplished I am surely proud of her, but she needs to train harder for the rematch because Shevchangko will be ready for her, and she definitely needs to invest more in her wrestling technique
So let's move on from here and pray that any bets made in the future are not incorrect by one leg to make it a bad bet to make.
Nice, you only got 2 losses, and it seems that you have got the Grasso fight aswell, congrats to you for making this much money but surely because of that losses it is a near parley win.
Alexa Grasso was practicing that exact same move to counter her patented spinning leg kick as Valentina always throws in every single match.
There was some video of her practicing this takedown before the match so she knew just how to beat her.
I placed my bet on her to outright win on a single but on another bookmaker so it was a good win and at fairly decent amount to win $250+ another $250 because of a double winnings for the result.
So these two separate losses on getting one-legged did not matter much to me in the end.
1658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: March 08, 2023, 12:37:02 PM
Funny how the analysis said Norris was the best near the end of the race. Cause I thought he would of fallen off as did Leclerc with engine failure.
His teammate was one of the first to go just on his 13th lap.
Also it was a strange race for Gasly. He was P20 but somehow climbed up so fast and nearly had fastest lap of the race if it weren't for Zhou on the very end. He ended the race P9.
The rookies didn't fair too well in this race so they need more experience on the tracks if they want to place anywhere near the top among the best.

Yes I was also going for a Gane win as both of my parlays lost because of that main event bout as you can see below:
