1641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots is More Likely to Cause Gambling Problem on: June 11, 2022, 01:38:32 PM
A question to slots players out there, have you ever felt the uncontrollable urge to gamble after exposing yourself to slots games for a long period of time?  How did you manage to keep sane after being exposed to the most addictive gambling game in the industry?

I think there's no need to ask the slots players if they ever felt they can't control themselves playing at slots as the answer is obvious. Although the second question is more appropriate to ask since ways of managing to become responsible vary with each player.

For me, I don't consider slot as the most addictive gambling game in the industry. Is there any research done for that?

I do play slots before but it not really catches my attention as I'm more of doing sports betting. After all, we all have our own preferences.
1642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Length of Time Before You Learn All These Gambling Terms Or Jargons on: June 11, 2022, 01:28:34 PM
In your experience how long or the Length of Time Before You Learn All These Gambling Terms Or Jargon like wage, seed, provably fair, martingale, and so on.

Can we really remember that stuff? We will learn that terms without realizing we already actually learned them.

It's a common thing to encounter that terms while playing online casinos and as soon as we progress, we will automatically learn them without even putting a focus to learn those. We will not realize if it's just days, weeks, months, or so on.

If someone remembers how long before they learned it, I will be surprised they able to record it. Smiley
1643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 11, 2022, 01:18:14 PM
And yes, it will be in their home court the next game, but remember that Boston steal one win here in game 1.

Although Bostin Celtics steal a win in Game 1, the Golden State Warriors almost control the entire game before entering the 4th Quarter. That mistake by the Warriors might not be repeated again and as soon as they established a big lead, they will now do their very best to maintain it as they already know that the Celtics have the capability to do a late-quarter rally and can even win a game.

This series now become unpredictable compared to the speculations prior to the start of the Finals that the majority sees no reason why the Celtics should win the series and beat the heavy favorite Golden State Warriors.

Per-game betting becomes hard for me and no specific analysis can be applied to my bet.
1644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minor Protection From Gambling on: June 10, 2022, 11:57:16 PM
But I still wonder if this kind of technology is effective enough for those minors who use their parent's access accounts to gambling sites.  Will this be able to detect such action?  Will this kind of technology can trully protect minors and prevent them to access gambling sites?

Then how these minors can top up their account at gambling sites? Surely, they can't easily access their parents' financial sources. For let's say they are using their allowance, what method they are using to fund their account as almost all payment methods require KYC?

About the initiative of the German government to control the minors, we aren't sure if that will be effective in the long run but it's a good start rather than doing nothing and just allowing minors to freely roam and gambled at gambling sites without parent's consent.
1645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 10, 2022, 11:43:45 PM
Wow, congrats if you are betting for Converge. There was a moment that the odds is 8.xx for Converge to win in the fourth quarter but the Hotshots were up by 8 points but I'm very hesitant to pull the trigger because you know Magnolia is not an ordinary team hehe but when i go back and checked the game, it is already on overtime and ultimately Converge won the game.

That was surprising. Downed by 20 points, who will think that Converge will still be able to pull a win. Even I won't bet on live betting.

Now that it happened, we now have a good basis for our future bets that even against a heavy favorite, it's possible for Converge to make the rally. I hope their rising stars won't be targeted by SMC or MVP teams.

Converge needs to stand strong and don't allow for their young good players to just be traded with these giant teams in the PBA.
1646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports Betting vs Online Casino Games: Which do you prefer? on: June 10, 2022, 11:35:46 PM
So you're telling us that your friend abandoned sports betting because overall, profits are quite easy in online casino games? He struggles in sports betting right?

Believe me, in the long run, your friend will abandon playing at online casinos too. Cheesy And the reason is obvious.

If your friend can't deal with knowledge-based sports betting, I doubt he will also have a good run in casino games.
1647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: June 09, 2022, 11:41:19 PM
With Bob Arum as his promoter, expect Inoue to conquer the higher division just like what Manny Pacquiao did in his prime but of course with the help of Bob Arum. Maybe his fight with Butler if pushes through will be his last in the bantamweight division and then move to the 122 lbs limit and see what the future would give to this Japanese superstar.

Yes, Naoya Inoue is vocal about moving up a weight class. If he wins against Paul Butler there's nothing left now to do in the BantamWeight Division. Another rising-star Asian contender in the World of Boxing is in the making because of Naoya Inoue's dominance. Paul Butler is just lucky to have a shot at Inoue. That will be a dream match for him and I don't really see how can he counter Inoue's speed and strength like what Pacquiao is showing during his BantamWeigt period.

Donaire already achieved a good boxing career. He will recognize as one of the good PH Boxers in history. The time now to consider calling it a career.
1648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: June 09, 2022, 11:29:47 PM
Yeah, specially if those boxers are really into the war, wear and tear in their bodies.

Isn't it much better if these boxers are used to getting matches regularly?

Even though they are catching up in ages, as long as these boxers always fight regularly, for let's say an average of 1-2 fights per year, their strength and endurance will just maintain like they aren't aging.

Obviously, that statement of mind is not applicable anymore if we are talking about a boxer that is now around 40 years of age. That pretty sure have an effect already on a boxer's strength even if his fight is regular.
1649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Casino Trends For 2022 on: June 09, 2022, 11:18:15 PM
Here is an interesting article for online casino lovers. This article talks about the online casino trends that are happening because of the rapid advancement in digital technology in the gambling and the gaming industry.

New technology and trends already happening for a long time now. Since then, the number of people doing online gambling increased year by year.

It's just that when the pandemic happened, obviously, the number grows as no one can access the physical casinos during that time and it lasted for year/s.

But as the world is slowly healing and recovering from the pandemic, we should see again the number of people visiting physical casinos will be back to normal, and those people who just gambled during the pandemic might return again to being a non-gambler or occasionally gambling since we are now back to the usual normal.
1650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Profitable are Gambling Bots? on: June 09, 2022, 11:09:07 PM
We can't expect much from a luck-based game. Because even if we use autobet or bots, if you don't know when to stop, HE will truly catch up with you.
If you are betting big, for me, that's not good if you are putting on auto-bet as you may not realize that your bankroll is already low before you stop it.
The profitability depends on the user himself, if using autobet, know when to stop and if using bots, know the right coding to take advantage its AI features.

In the very first place, auto-betting is not designed to increase our chances of winning. It's just, of course, to take over the usual manual betting which seems a hassle to do so, especially by regular players of dice or hi-roll games. Usually, those who are using it already know that their bankroll might be depleted soon that's why they only set a fixed bankroll on that session.

It doesn't also mean that if these gamblers use auto-betting, they are literally away from their keyboards. They still watched it while sitting and once hit a good profit, they will now stop the feature and collect what they got.
1651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rakeback and promotions for limited time on: June 09, 2022, 10:58:52 PM
Do you take advantage of these features or do you think they don't worth? Do you have any strategies to play and increase your profit through rakeback or do you just ignore it? By your experience, have rakeback ever been profitable for you?

Not that I totally ignored but I just don't mind it. Rakeback is good but since I do sports betting mostly, that is something I really don't care about.

Instead, it's more of an advantage and benefit to those users who are an enthusiast or addicted to gambling in casino games. It's good to see that while they are risking their chances at luck-based casino games, there are a Rakeback and other promotions that are waiting for them.

Of course, don't focus on Rakeback why we gamble. Just consider it as a benefit but we have to focus on winning.
1652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can You See Or Tell If A Fight Or Event Is Fix ? on: June 08, 2022, 11:01:47 PM
It could be on basketball, boxing or horse racing, or any kind of sport, after being in a particular sport for many years can you see or tell if a fight or event is fixed, there are upsets but in the back of our mind, there's a possibility that the match or game is fixed.

In reality, yes we can tell if a certain match is considered fixed or not. But what evidence can we refer to as solid proof? What we just do is make speculations as even if that match is fixed, we can't back it up properly. There are obviously fixed matches and that really happened, but without a claim officially that there's something wrong behind that match, that's the only time our speculations will be answered.

Although rigged games do really happen, I think it's not that happening or present anymore at a recognized international league. Why these leagues will ruin their reputation in the first place when the fans are the reason why they become BIG. Maybe in small leagues established locally.
1653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: June 08, 2022, 10:49:29 PM
And it's going to be in Boston Garden, maybe we will see Tatum having a good night in front of his fans or he is going to choke playing his first game in the finals. We will see, Warriors though has the slight edge for me.

The term choke is not applicable to Jayson Tatum. If you are referring to his Game 1 performance, that can't be called a choke but rather he is off-night. But if he is like that for consecutive games then we can consider him having a choke performance although unlikely to happen.

The gap between Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics is too gap or distant. I don't know what's the basis of bookies but I'm really surprised that a healthy Warriors were still given a 2.30 ML odds to win the game.

It's very unusual to see the Warriors having an odds like that during playoffs.
1654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: June 08, 2022, 10:38:30 PM
Quadro Alas doesn't have the aces anymore to lure Inoue to fight him no matter what he says on his social media account, he has known that a long time ago. He wasted his opportunities to become the unified champion which seldom happens to any boxer. Inoue will fight Butler, that's for sure because he wants to unify all the belt before moving up in weight so better for Casimero to fight in the division higher than bantamweight and wait for Inoue there, that way he has the chance to have a piece of the Japanese Monster.

Naoya Inoue will surely get that WBO Title from Paul Butler and will become the undisputed champion in the Bantamweight Division. That was the most realistic thing to happen and that fight will be a landslide victory for Inoue. Even if Casimero will be able to climb up rankings, there's no way he can chase the Japanese monster now because Inoue has no reason at all to stay at Bantamweight.

The possible thing to happen is that Casimero can chase Inoue at the Super Bantamweight, of course, if he can get good credentials once he back again. But since Casimero has difficulty maintaining his weight, I doubt he can make it to the Super Bantamweight. That was a long way process that's why we can't end now the possibility of Quadro Alas facing Inoue in the future.
1655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Mantra After, while playing And Before You Gamble on: June 08, 2022, 10:14:40 PM
I see what you're getting at but ignoring losses is what leads to problem behavior. If you're playing a skilled gambling game like poker, one of the few where you can actually eek out an advantage against other players and possibly make long term money, then you really need to be analyzing every single bad play.

You have a point that ignoring losses might lead to a problem later on but there's also an advantage if we have that kind of mindset and head to another chapter and that is, if we don't think much about our losses, it can help us focus on making a good strategy the next time we do gamble.

Going back to the topic, no lucky charm nor mantra can save us to prevent our losses. What we need to do is to change our mindset about it and don't rely on luck alone especially if we do gamble on strategy gambling games or sports betting.

Even though it's nothing wrong to rely on luck, are we going to just allow ourselves to bet on our luck?

It's like throwing away our money easily without putting an effort to win.
1656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 07, 2022, 11:38:41 PM
Game 2 was a very decent one for Warriors undoubtedly. They just crushed Celtics by a big point difference and something went really wrong with Celtics defense in this game. It wasn't solid as it was in the first game. It looks like Warriors found a good solution for this and destroyed them literally. For Game 3, I'm not sure about the result. It is very hard to predict now as maybe Warriors would catch Celtics by surprise in away court like Celtics did to them in Game 1. Or maybe Celtics will have their revenge on them. In any case, I believe that it will end up by a little gap.

Something wrong with the Celtics' defense in Game 2? No, I actually think their defense is their usual.

The problem is even how good the Celtics' defense is, the Warriors shooting percentage are really hot. There are lots of shots made by the Warriors that were actually defended and guarded well but still, they draining those shots. That's how good the Warriors' offensive attack is even though the Celtics attempt to guard it hardly.

Since then, the Warriors are really known for that and the only thing to stop those are just to continue doing the best defense as much as possible while at the same time, making it to the point that the Celtics' hot shooting should be executed as well.
1657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the beggars in cryptocurrency casinos on: June 07, 2022, 11:13:27 PM
Do we really need to discuss this?

Just simply ignore if you feel like you didn't want to tip or shared money. What advice do we need here if, in the end, it's all about our own decision if we will do it or not? Calling them beggars is also too much. What do you think of yourself if you call them that way?

It's always easy to ignore them rather than think about them too much. That is not actually a problem, to begin with.
1658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Profitable are Gambling Bots? on: June 07, 2022, 11:03:57 PM
Have you ever tried to use the autobet on some gambling websites or have you successfully used third-party bot scripts for betting on sites where it is allowed? Did the bots win?

During my newbie days, there are lots of bots scripts that were being shared here and the one I got is on freebitco.in hi-lo game. I'm able to get a copy of it but never tried it for an obvious reason. I didn't even remember how I get that. Obviously, it might be a script that can bring irregularities to our respective devices that's why I never tried to execute it.

I think scripts are allowed as long as of course, it's just for the auto-betting feature with advanced settings. But with today's casino, I think almost all sites now have an auto-bet feature with advanced settings that scripts is not necessary nowadays.
1659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: June 07, 2022, 10:50:23 PM
It's not about the age year, Nonito can still fight, but Inoue is too good and too sharp in front of his fans.

Yes, it's not the age and I agree with you there. It's just that the Japanese boxer made a good timing to penetrate Donaire's defense. Naoya Inoue landed an intense blow in the 1st Round that Donaire didn't expect. It destroys Donaire's momentum and the effect of those punches can still be seen in the next round now resulting in a Knock-Out win from Inoue.

Inoue wasted no time taking that advantage while Donaire is still recovering from that blow. That's the same scenario in their 1st match but the difference is, that Donaire wasn't able to take the advantage when Inoue was struggling to recover.
1660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PH banned online cockfighting - Worst gambling-related cases recorded! on: June 04, 2022, 12:44:19 PM
I think the Filipinos should put pressure on their government and the police to deal with these criminal problems. And only after these obvious problems are solved can you do such nonsense as cockfights.

There's no "it should" because it's already happening. Unfortunately, there will always be a case that someone or some group won't cooperate with the government. No matter how hard the pressure is, if the problem is on the core, that's a hard task for the government.

The main solution here for this menace to stop is for the people themselves to stop supporting illegal gambling operations. These corrupt officials won't be getting any benefits if there are no massive players that will use their illegal operations.
