1641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all new Projects are bad, So take the Risk on: October 28, 2022, 04:21:21 PM
I came across a post where an advise was ditch out
for newbies like myself not to get involved in new projects,
due to the risk that follows.

But with all honestly, Some project with 3 to 7 months old have one time becomes Scam, Good  example is OKS CHAIN. The project was over 2 years old, yet end up being scam, as the CEO and other dev cart away with so much money. And abandoned the project.

My experience tells me that everything involves around crypto project, Is about risk, except for the president of them all ( Bitcoin ), The vice ( Ethereum ) and the child ( Binance ). Investing in any of these 3 gives risk free system. As they say experience is the best teacher in life.

So i strongly disagreed with the term of " do not invest in a brand new project " to be risk free. A lot of new project has yielded x50
of my investment to me most of the time, What i usually do, Once they're up, i take off with my investment and interest. This is my experiences.
And i strongly believes by doing this, Will yield high success to everyone and also helps you to minimize the risk of lossing all your funds.

The tough thing, is not investing in new projects, but identifying new projects which are worth investing and probably won't scam.
It's no rocket science that higher the risk higher the reward and so investing in new projects will definitely yield higher returns than established coins like BTC, ETH and BNB.
But preserving the capital is the most important thing which is why I invest in BTC and ETH more than any other asset.
Diversifying your portfolio and DCA is by far the best strategies out there.

if u have the money to put in it.

hire a developer and turn it into a non-kyc p2p exchange.

which would require a working wallet to act as an escrow.

if not at-least add a graph that shows prices change every 1 minute or something.

so, it looks like moving, right now it just looks like a landing page.

To turn it into a non-kyc P2P exchange it would require a lot of work to be done.
The front end and backend has to be planned very well and apart from that the main thing is handling disputes.
Either it can be trade at your own risk website or a central authority would be needed to handle the disputes.
If it is the prior then it might create a bad name for the website if the number of scammers increase on the site.

Well I think something, if it can be blocked for 6 months it is not bad, I think there could be a good bullish run from this December, but of course it is only speculation, for me the fun tokens will have a good rise once the Bitcoin begins to upload, of course this is something that everyone is waiting for, most fun token investors have been patient for a long time, and those of us at freebitco.in know that there will be more and more benefits in the long term, this is something that investors players and investors take the opportunity to have more fun tokens, some say that the price is not good, and it is like that, it is not good, but as the market increases the fun tokens will increase.

For some reason, we all have concluded that when bull starts and bitcoin price increases, the price of FUN token will increase as well.
Even I think the same and hope that FUN crosses 80 satoshis soon  Tongue  Grin I hope it's not too much I am asking for.
But to be honest, we can't really expect a bull run until next year. We might see corrections and price of bitcoin going back upto $30k and above.
But I don't think we will be crossing $60k before the end of next year.
1644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Nigerian Man Won $51,000 in Sports Betting With a Bet of Just $1.072 on: October 28, 2022, 02:44:23 PM
The funny thing of the story is that guy celebrated his win by salat because he is religious and a muslim, the problem is islam forbids betting or gambling on anyway (strict rules in islam) just like ignoring that and doing something bad in islam’s principes. Anyway this guy is really lucky to win such a prise  with a very small amount he risked, it’s a very good odd though and also im wondering  which game  did he play or bet on

Yeah, even I have heard that muslims are not allowed to gamble in a casino and it is against their religious acts.
At the same time it's not like everyone follows their religion whole heartedly.
This person has won such a great bet but it won't be worth if he spends them all.
What he does with the money he won is what will derive his destiny.
1645  Other / Archival / Re: Most investors think regulation is a good thing on: October 27, 2022, 04:41:21 PM
I don't really know if regulation is good or bad for crypto investors.
If we look at it from one perspective it shows that crypto can be widely adopted with the help of regulation.
This in turn means a bigger marketcap and hence the prices of various cryptocurrencies would increase.
If we look at it from another perspective then regulation directly means centralization of cryptocurrencies.
This in turn increases the risks of data security, privacy etc...
So in a way regulation has it's own advantages and disadvantages. For some might be good and for others its bad.

Mister, please respond to my private messages TheQuin

No, I'll reply in public. There is a good reason that there are no refunds for gambling. If any gambling business refunded losing bets they wouldn't have anything to pay the winning bets with. It is simply impossible to run a business by making exceptions for every good sob story provided. Never gamble with money you can't afford to lose.

Another reason for not giving any exceptions to anyone is that if a casino gives an exception to 1 it has to do the same for others.
Otherwise it would seriously receive a bad fame in the name of partiality and eventually it will have to shut down it's operations.
It's kind of obvious because if one person gets the lost funds back then everyone would want it too.
This is the main reason why we should gamble within our limits and bet the amount we can afford to lose.
1647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling techniques on: October 27, 2022, 04:02:36 PM
I would like to have you guys speaking about different gambling techniques so that we can exchange knowledge and improve our winning chances.

I'll leave my simple technique here and I'll hope you guys can leave some more!

I often use the stake doubling technique to several games. I normally do this with dice games and if it played correctly its profitable. What you have to do is simply start with a small stake and every time you lose you double your steak until you win. Once you win, you will recover all the amount you lost. This works if you have enough money to keep doubling your bet, so you should do your math and check with how much you should start. It is not infallible but it works.

It's nothing but the classic martingale strategy. You double your bet every time you lose and reset to zero when you win.
I have seen some gambling sites provide this strategy by default. This is no top secret.
To be honest, it is really hard to win consistently with this technique because there comes a time when you keep losing in a row.
That loss takes away all your profits and this is the reason why most gamblers avoid this strategy.

What I do is, I tweak this strategy and limit the number of consecutive losses to 3-4 times in a row.
After that I reset the bet to zero again.
1648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Point Do You Start Accepting Bitcoin as a Payment Option For Your Business? on: October 26, 2022, 04:54:39 PM
I don't own any business so my perspective might be a little different but I think the first and most important thing is bitcoin to be a legal tender in that country.
If it is not a legal tender then it means you are not paying taxes on the income which is a crime in itself.
So if we completely ignore this part for now then I think I would accept crypto payments as soon as I figure out that the average price of bitcoin used for payments in my transactions should be less than the current price.
So whenever the current price goes above the average price I can cash out and take the profits if needed.
Basically it depends on us how we choose to hold the coins. We can either immediately exchange the crypto to fiat or take the leverage of time hoping to increase the profits.
1649  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Prime Minister of UK - A crypto believer on: October 26, 2022, 04:45:18 PM
Rishi Sunak is the next prime minister of UK. He is from an Indian origin and is the youngest prime minister of UK since 19th century.
Keeping all that aside the interesting fact is that he is a firm crypto believer. I got to know this when I was scrolling insta today.
It seems that crypto regulations have also been approved right after he became the PM of UK.
This shows how positive he is about cryptocurrencies and he might lead the way for a wide adoption of cryptocurrencies.

1650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest Heavily ALT now on: October 24, 2022, 03:14:54 PM
I personally believe in investing in potential established altcoins which can generate growth in the long term.
I don't usually prefer in investing in altcoins for short term gains. But yeah, if I do get the opportunity then I don't mind putting a little amount for short term as well.
But most of the times I buy coins and keep doing DCA for long term and my bucket list mostly contains BTC, ETH, SOL.
1651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: And officially worst year for investors on: October 24, 2022, 02:56:32 PM
2022 is going to be the worst year for crypto investors. Any thoughts guys?

Dude, I will call it the best year for crypto "investors" because this is the perfect time to get into crypto.
All those people who were seeking a low price to get into crypo are getting it right now and if they don't utilize this opportunity they might not get it again.
We might be witnessing the last opportunity to buy bitcoin below $20k if BTC doesn't go below this range again.
So according to me this is the best year for crypto investors to invest as much as possible and accumulate crypto at such low prices.
1652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ETH price keeps decreasing? on: October 24, 2022, 02:52:30 PM
I personally think ETH is by far the best altcoin out there which is why it is at the second rank by marketcap.
It has completed the merge without any setbacks which shows how well planned the merge was.
Also, I think we will get to see the affects of this merge in the long run.
Currently since we are in a bear market it might be shadowing the potential of ETH growth but lets see how it goes when the bull market returns.
1653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you win big in casino, would it be publicized? on: October 24, 2022, 02:20:39 PM
I am not sure about the land based casinos and lotteries but crypto based online casinos generally doesn't publicize such info.
Almost every week there are winners of certain rounds but only their names/alias are being displayed as winners.
Even if some website decide to publicize the winner info then it becomes their due diligence to take the require consent from the winner before they post their info.
There are some differences between online and land-based casinos. In land based casinos the information on big bets stays in the casino where other gamblers can get that information. But neither the player's name nor the winning money is displayed in the online casino. If they want to publish it, they must try to connect with that user for his permission before publishing his or her information.

That's not true because I have seen online casinos displaying the user id as well as the winning amount in the casino.
For example freebitco.in has draws every week and displays the list of winners and winning amounts.
But the catch is that their user ids are just numbers and nobody can make out who the actual winner is.
BC.GAME has some lottery rounds and declares the winner name and prize amount but the amounts are relatively small.
So there are casinos which displays this information since they must be already having it in their policies.
1654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Faucet and Bonus Farming on: October 23, 2022, 05:28:25 PM
I have seen more than 2 casinos locking user accounts for this action, and is it really the users fault?

If the users claims tons of faucets or bonus is because the casino engine allows it, and if the casino is losing money with this action they should fix their code to avoid this problem and not steal users money.

The casinos sets the rules of the game, and if a user is smarter enough to find a way to make profit with those rules then they shouldn't block users withdrawals.

So, what do you think about this?

Lets put it this way. If a hacker finds a loophole on a banks website and finds a way to transfer users fund from one account to another.
Should the bank not restrict/freeze the hackers account or his IP or should they wait for a fix to be deployed on the banks site and allow the hacker to keep stealing the funds.
I think this is the same case here. If there are loop holes on the gambling site then they should take whatever action is necessary to prevent the misuse.

1656  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Almost 1/4 of Belgian employees are willing to receive crypto-salary on: October 23, 2022, 04:20:26 PM
A recent study by iVox commissioned by Partena Professional shows that 22% of the employees surveyed are open to the idea of receiving part of their wages in cryptocurrency. Within that group, especially men (30% of the total number of men surveyed) are willing to be paid partly in cryptocurrency. In the category of employees under the age of 35, 35.9% are in favor of this idea. This age group is most positive about a salary in cryptocurrency.

Currently it is not allowed, as cryptocurrency is not recognized as a legal tender. The same rules is for base salary and for bonuses - even with agreement between employer and the employee.

More details: https://hrmagazine.be/nl/posts/een-op-vier-bereid-om-stuk-loon-te-krijgen-in-cryptogeld

That is what I expect too. If I were given this option I would be more than happy to receive a part of my salary in crypto.
This is because we always have the option to convert it into fiat via exchange and the rest of the time we can simply hold it to maximize the returns.
I wish there was this option in the company I work for too but I guess we will have to wait for a long time to see this happening in real time.
1657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How important are exchanges? on: October 23, 2022, 12:44:02 PM
Bitcoins can exist without exchanges, but would you support the argument that the existence of exchanges are among the factors facilitating the popularity and accessibility that people have to bitcoins?

Exchanges are indeed important factors of popularity and accessibility to bitcoin.
They are needed because of the liquidity as well as the various altcoins and BTC pairs it provides.
P2P exchanges are good but at the same time it involves various risks and less options of payment.
Exchanges provide a variety of options and utilities such as staking, lending etc.. on altcoins.
1658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Repeat History ? on: October 23, 2022, 11:34:51 AM
I am looking the charts of bitcoin to make some trade on it and found a historical turning point on it what you guys are thinking about it check and leave your opinions.

https://youtube.com/shorts/tycNLzRi44o?feature=share

Thanks Smiley Smiley

It is expected to come this question from a newbie. Yes bitcoin repeats history in the way where it always breaks it's ATH.
We have seen bitcoin in a bear run bottoming out and starting a reversal followed by a bull run which creates a new ATH.
This cycle repeats in a span of 4-5 years and there's a catalyst such as the bitcoin halving or paypal accepting cryptocurrencies which triggers the bull run.
Currently there is no such big positive news which triggers a bull run but it will happen.
I have witnessed this in the past few years.
1659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you choose cryptocurrency as full time job? on: October 22, 2022, 02:19:52 PM
We are in a world people desire to work in oil company, banking firm and while others choose to in different organizations been a corporate office jobs just to answer am working in so so company, but can you choose crypto as full time corporate job?
I'm not really sure how to answer this but yes you can example like working on exchange or writting some blog or making video about crypto, The other way was working as Blockchain developer on some sector like Oil, Market, Food, etc and also being a lawyer or even marketing on some blockchain-based company

It shouldn't be that hard to answer. In fact you should be asking this question to yourself. It should be your own decision.
The basic requirement is to get a job that pays you well enough to manage your expenses and savings.
If the crypto job is providing that kind of money then obviously you can do that.
But if you are not able to pay your basic expenses then you must either consider changing the job or choose a side hustle which can get you an extra income.
1660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you be influenced by your favourite celebrity? on: October 22, 2022, 02:03:56 PM
Celebrities are influencers and it's their job to influence others. When it comes to Drake, he is a promoter of Stake.
This is why he gambles on Stake and posts it because he is being paid to that.
I would personally not follow any influencer for any of my gambling and I would gamble however I want.
