It's a shame to see so many tournaments pausing, re-starting then pausing again.
The Six Nations may be another month away, but I've got a couple of wagers locked in:
6th February, Ireland - Wales I'm going to say Ireland followed by the Scotland - England game I'm going for England.
7th February, the books haven't opened on the France Vs Italy game as yet.

↑ I wonder why it is taking so long for a decision to be made regarding the new details?
Timelord, is there pressure on the immigration minister to make a decision on this, given its still "open"? If I were the Immigration Minister, I'd be searching out website sites such as the various BBC/CNN/APP etc then the less mainstream ones such as TMZ who actively follow and report the goings on of the rich and famous (whether they want to be followed or not) then build up a report of where and when Djokovic traveled (Intra-EU travel details via flight manifests etc) There *could* be reason to issue an interurm statement detailing "some issues" have been found to give the media frenzy a chance to report while a decision is being made. In other news to help mix up the discussion Emma Raducanu had a really poor match today against Rybakina in the Sydney International tournament today, losing in less than an hour 6-0, 6-1. That's disappointing a week before AI starts, ok Rybakina is a good player seeded 9 in the tournament but I expected a better result for Emma
Yeh, I heard some of my favorite female players have already taken to the stage, so I might have to make a couple of pics.
I've never placed a wager on Djokovic, make of that what you will.
That should read: "I've never placed a wager either for, or against Djokovic. Make of that what you will."

It is very unusual that it turned out that the Australian government made an illegal decision in the Djokovic case, and that it seems that the reasons behind that decision are political reasons, ie the upcoming elections in Australia.
You're forgetting that a court case decision can be overturned if it turns out (for example) a person has purgered themselves in the evidence they gave. (or, as another example, failed to provide a full account (i.e. such as their travel details) when required). The exemption to play was made at a State Level and although most don't like it, was made in accordance to the guidelines, so the AO and Vic Health can't be found to be at fault. ie the upcoming elections in Australia. No. Please don't go there. This comes down to Djokovic's truthfulness on his arrival card.
I've never placed a wager on Djokovic, make of that what you will.

In case your local media are not reporting the latest twists and turns in the saga, the Australian Immigration Minister is keeping open the option of deporting Djokovic for three years after it came to light that on his arrival card he signed a declaration that he had not traveled (from with-in Spain - as listed on his arrival form) since the 16th of December for 14 days but media here and overseas are now posting photographic evidence that on or after the 18th/19th of December, 2021, Djokovic traveled to Serbia from Spain (when he'd declared he hadn't traveled) and there are posted photos of Djokovic unmasked and failing to social distance on a number of occasions during the time he declared he was in isolation. Being Deported would probably mean refused entry to the USA, UK and other countries for the duration (three years) he is deported from Australia - essentially for lying on his arrival card concerning his travel whilst covid infected. Should it come to that.
Novak Djokovic updates: Serbian still waiting for government decision on deportation as Australian Open looms — as it happened https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-01-11/novak-djokovic-tennis-australia-immigration-border-force/100748954By Bridget Judd Posted 13h ago 13 hours ago , updated 3h ago Novak Djokovic's ability to remain in the country for the Australian Open remains unclear, with Immigration Minister Alex Hawke yet to make a decision on whether the Serbian will be deported.
Djokovic was released from immigration detention in Melbourne yesterday after a judge overturned the cancellation of his visa.
Look back at the day as it unfolded in our live blog.

Hi Timelord long time,
Is there any activity with the coin or discord?
Hi, The block explorer was 14 days overdue to be renewed, and, without a block explorer, any coin is dead. In saying that, I'm sorry to say that I haven't been into Discord / SXC Forum for quite a while (and none of the social media platforms (that I know of) appear to have been posted on for years), so I don't know what is going on. I'm guessing it's the same for the stones trade with the world the way it is?

Anyone interested to buy some bullion from me? I can't trade it anywhere, since I live in Europe and Crex24 is closed for people in Europe...
According the Crex, https://crex24.com/exchange/CBX-BTC the spread is between a low of 82 satoshi (buy) and 145 satoshi (sell). Half way between is about 115 satoshi - How many do you have? I can take 1,000 CBX now at 115 satoshi ( i.e. BTC 0.00115000 ) if you would like to do a trade, my wallet address is: 5TGE7UY8aVsLdUvayyTMFPbcEYP8mms6we You're welcome to organise an Escrow if you feel the need. I check into the forum a couple of times a day and have just sync'ed the CBX block chain and have that wallet open at the moment, so I should see your TX when it arrives. Hope we can do business.

Australian Rugby League News:
NRL stars lash out at tight COVID-19 restrictions ahead of return to pre-season - https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-01-05/nrl-covid-latrell-mitchell/100738760Posted Wed 5 Jan 2022 at 9:17am Some of the NRL's biggest names have queried the tight restrictions imposed as COVID-19 cases hit clubs on the eve of their return to pre-season training. Key points:
The NRL has announced strict new protocols ahead of players returning to pre-season training Some of the game's biggest names, including Latrell Mitchll and Josh Addo-Carr, have voiced their concerns Players will be banned from going inside restaurants, pubs and cinemas and will be tested daily
Brisbane Broncos on Tuesday confirmed four players had COVID-19, while Canterbury are also managing positive cases ahead of the team's return to the paddock on Thursday.
Australia's cricket, soccer and basketball codes are all scrambling to administer their summer seasons while mounting cases in the NBA have caused unprecedented scenes.
Next day...
Qld NRL clubs hit by COVID-19 outbreaks - https://thewest.com.au/sport/rugby-league/number-of-broncos-covid-19-cases-grow-c-5202907George Clarke and Murray WenzelAAP Thu, 6 January 2022 10:40AM Brisbane's NRL pre-season has been hit by 16 players and three members of the club's football staff testing positive for COVID-19 as the virus took its toll on Queensland's football codes.
Gold Coast have nine players and staff in isolation ahead of Friday's return to training, while Super Rugby neighbors the Queensland Reds have 11 confirmed cases and 12 more players in isolation awaiting test results.
The Broncos on Wednesday announced four players had tested positive for the virus but the quartet were all asymptomatic.
They have since returned to training given their tests were taken over the Christmas period and they had complied with the Queensland government's mandatory seven-day isolation.
The rest of the squad was sent for testing on Tuesday, with 16 additional players recording positive findings.
They have all been ordered to isolate at home for the next seven days and will be allowed to return to training once they have been symptom-free for 48 hours.
Despite the large numbers of positive cases, the remaining 22 members of Brisbane's squad attended training on Thursday.
Every member of the Broncos playing group is double-vaccinated.

V'landys confident NRL has systems in place to avoid disruptions - https://www.nrl.com/news/2022/01/06/vlandys-confident-nrl-has-systems-in-place-to-avoid-covid-disruptions/Thu 6 Jan 2022, 01:14 PM ARL Commission chairman Peter V'landys is confident the NRL will have enough measures in place to ensure there are limited disruptions to the major men's and women's competitions in 2022.
V'landys joined The Ray Hadley Morning Show on Thursday to discuss the current climate of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"We believe we have the systems in place to avoid disruption and we're lucky in a sense that it's happening now and we're learning from the experience," V'landys told stand-in host Mark Levy.
"I believe in our system and we've already got 30,000 antigen tests, and it will work and minimise the disruption.
"It won't be a hard bubble this year, it will be what we call a soft bubble. The players will be able to go to places but they must use common sense.
"They can't go to pubs or nightclubs that are full of people but they can go to restaurants that are outdoor dining so their lives won't be as disrupted as they have been the last two years because we are confident that if one player does catch it we will catch it early with the rapid antigen tests and that way they won't infect any of the other players."
A day later...
RLPA to meet NRL over COVID protocols - https://www.goulburnpost.com.au/story/7573191/rlpa-to-meet-nrl-over-covid-protocols/ - January 7 2022 - 3:38PM - George Clarke The Rugby League Players' Association aims to sit down with the NRL to thrash out revised COVID-19 protocols after players were placed in level-one restrictions over the New Year's weekend.
Under the NRL's existing framework, players were informed last week that they must stay away from indoor venues such as restaurants, pubs and cinemas despite the season not kicking off until March.
It led to criticism from leading players such as Latrell Mitchell, Josh Addo-Carr and Jack Wighton, with the latter posting on social media: "Thought I was getting the stupid vax so I didn't have to do another year of this s**t."
With over 90 per cent of the Australian population over the age of 16 now double jabbed, RLPA chief executive Clint Newton wants to sit down and discuss updated terms.
"We have the tools at our disposal to create a safe workplace and we want to get things in a position where players can live their lives like the rest of the community," Newton told AAP.
"COVID-19 protocol restrictions are something players are frustrated with and we share those frustrations with the players, particularly in situations when they have been implemented without players being consulted and properly communicated with.
"This gives us a great opportunity, which is what we've requested from (NRL chief executive) Andrew Abdo, is to get together now.
"The importance of protocols over the last two years are not in dispute. This is now about the restrictions that are over and above the community.

I posted this in the main tennis thread, but am reposting here to clarify the incorrect reporting that has gone on. I live and Queensland and am able to hear a more "whole of story" than people in other parts of the world are hearing sound bytes .....
Djokovic applied for an exemption from the Victorian state based heath authorities.
Whilst in the air an appeal was made to review that decision as it was contrary to Australia's immigration requirements as they currently stand.
That appeal was successful.
Also, I'd heared that the Australian Tennis venue have a requirement for all entrants to be able to show proof of double vaccinated.
Djokovic's initial application it would seem made the admission he is not (Afterall he applied to appear unvaccinated).
Kind of sets the wrong signal a stadium full of double vaccinated spectators would be exposed to a player not wearing a mask, not tested, not vaccinated and not having quarantined for someone who just wants to further their sponsorship dollars.

I applaud the Australian Government for their decision to deport Djokovic on Covid related issues (now the world knows him to be unvaccinated, it might discourage others from coming into close contact with that person).

Are you prepared in 2022 to wipe the slate clean and start again?
I want no part of your riddles. My suggestion was for you to become part of a solution instead of blaming others for your perceived merit issues. Not that there is any actual issue. No one has ever produced any kind of damning list of good valuable posters being deprived of merits because there are circles or whatever. The ball is in your court. | Timelord2067 | | 2022-01-05 | | Reference | | I again reached out with an olive branch on this date.
