На битфайнексе очередной рекорд по количеству открытых коротких позиций, пора бы уже манипулю побрить медведей хорошенько.

Primecoin searches a much more big primes, now minimal length is 320 bit.. it not so easy. 79910197721667870187016101 3713806433365297179049547921059040093141987810270452924175027055917982614990738 71883343191967359 First number from wikipedia 19ch, second is found 15ch from block 2592901. Good Unfortunatelly, block reward same for chain with 11 and 15 numbers --- xpmclient 10.3 development started, main target of this release - introduce CUDA version of miner with good advantage for NVidia cards and remove high CPU load on Windows.
|
|
|
that ratio is same for 11ch, 12ch, 13ch ...?
Yes, same as 10ch.
|
|
|
@eXtremal what is share values for 7ch, 8ch, 9ch ...?
1 10ch = 10 9ch = 100 8ch = 1000 7ch. Pools use PPLNS system, share cost depends on block value and total shares for last 1.5 hours.

Yes, pool found new record, bi-twin chain of 15 numbers! Block height 2592901. Miner APVK*** https://bchain.info/XPM/block/2592901Also, you can look details here: https://primes.zone (Cannot give direct link, website not support it.. go World Records, then click TWN). to eXtremal hi. 9.4.1 does not work because the pool code is changed?
No, because difficulty changed With target=11 9.4.1 can work, but produce 4-5% invalid shares.

Hi, I have a problem with the GTX1060. I have 2 R9 390 and 3 GTX 1060. The 2 R9 have all "Sher accepted", the gtx 1060 have continually "Invalid Share". the Nvidia configuration file is this: # Pool websites: # http://xpmforall.org# http://coinsforall.ioserver = "xpmforall.org"; port = "6666"; # Your XPM payout address address = "My addrss"; # You can give this machine a custom name # Computer name is used as default #name = "Nvidia"; # Platform: # "amd": AMD GCN cards # "amd legacy": AMD HD5xxx & HD6xxx cards # "nvidia": NVidia Maxwell cards platform = "nvidia"; # GPU crash handling (properly untested feature): # 0 - do nothing # 1 - close miner application # 2 - reboot system (need superuser rights) onCrash = "0"; # - Valid cpuload range: 0 to 4 # - More than 2 does not make sense # - You can use 0 for really slow CPUs cpuload = "0"; # Target Cunningham chain length, default = 10 target = "10"; Read first post before. You cannot mine with target="10", difficulty > 11 now.

Hi dev. i am using this version xpmclient v9.4.1 for mining. but after a period of work and usually after 1 payout it closes with an error. This error => (xpmclient.exe has stopped working A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.) why? I found, that exactly two hours later, the xpmclient(any version) closes. why? OS : win10 64x GPU :amd radeon rx 570 *4 MB : msi b250 krait gaming RAM : 4GB ddr3 CPU : Intel pentium G4400 3.30GH PSU : real 700 watt *2 = 1400 watt POOL: coinsforall.io and dtc.graymines.net I chose 9.4.1 because cpd/day > cpd/day with any version. Anyway i have problem with any version(9.4.1 - 10 - 10.1 - 10.2.2) and any pool also, i am ETC miner for 8 month with this reg without any error. I have access to one 6x570 rig with same problem, but miner crashes rarely (1 times in 2-3 days).. I will try fix it in next miner version 10.3. Now you can use simple .bat file: :1 xpmclient goto 1
With this potential, after 9 days, in the calculator we will write "difficulty - 12" Diffuculty 12 required 30 times more network power, than 11, not real now with current XPM price. at difficulty 12 good GPU's will be producing a whopping 0.016 CPD - is that right?
25-27 times less than CPD with target=11.

eXtremal - whats up with this difficulty? I've been mining XPM for a long time - I've never seen it rise like this. At this rate, I'm going to have to turn off my rigs next week! Is it normal to rise this fast because we are at low 11 difficulty?
It took a week to go from 10.991 to 10.994... 0.003 difference - over the last week we went from 10.994 to 11.115 - 0.121 difference... difficulty is rising over 40x faster now - how can this be???
Miners coming from less profitable ETH/ZEC/XMR. I think only ETH miners enough to make difficulty 12 Quickly difficulty raise is ok for XPM, look chart at december 2013 - january 2014 for example http://xpm.muuttuja.org/charts/I used to CPU mine XPM, and GPU mine LTC simultaneously - is there a new "gpu"? are there primecoin asics now? Nobody will make asics for XPM, market cap too low.. we need price around $100 for 1 XPM for a long time for it what is your opinion about NiceHash? Roll Eyes Nicehash don't support XPM at all.

Difficulty breaks 11 and continue grows, more and more miners come to XPM Hi any pool operator there? I see there is "Request Payout" on the pool. How to request one? I have 3.5 XPM, when will it be paid out? Thank you!
Minimal payout threshold is 4 XPM on xpmforall.org. Real mumber of was minings XPM coin equal with what the calculator on xpmforall.org ?!
Calculator shows a profit in ideal conditions. In real some factors can influence on your profit, such as pool luck, pool orphan rate, stale share rate (depends on your latency), non-normalized PoW certificates, problem in internet connection. All this right for any mining pool, not only xpmforall Can't start miner at all. Error 64bit kernels not supported on a 32bit executable
Win10 64bit, 6x rx570, config as suggested in readme, blockchain drivers
May be problem in a latest Windows 10 update.. I'll make 64-bit application version, it can fix that.

Contributing CPD now for Datacoin pool debugging.
Thanks! Is there any guide how to run xpmclient in ubuntu step by step? Not need any special guide.. install Ubuntu and NVidia drivers, after it you ready run xpmclient.

Hi, eXtremal! I have the following problem. I can not launch your miner on nvidia 1080 good. I have 8 cards. On 4 cards the miner works well, but as I launch 5+ card I have an issue - the processor is loaded 100% and the hashrate starts to drop. There are no such problems on AMD cards. Maybe some settings?
Hi, Unfortunately, you need Linux for use 5+ NVidia GPUs, because NVidia have a problem in their OpenCL implementation and I don't know a workaround now for Windows.. except rewritting miner in CUDA. Some of my cards (RX 470/580) getting crashed after 1-2 min of mining. On 4 rigs with same miner (10.2.2), windows(10) and driver (blockchain) everithing works correctly. Did you have a solution?
Overclocking? XPM miner can be unstable on GPUs tuned for ETH. with 10.2.2 work only without 14.X ocl & gives worst rezult than 10.2.1 (without 14.x ocl driver) 10.2.1 can work with 14.X ocl, but 10.2.2 can't, too strange. What error you see ? when you create 10.3 miner my friend?
In april. Next version brings speedup for NVidia cards (and I'll try fix high cpu load) and reboot on crash correct handling.

I have started DTC pool at coinsforall, now in debug mode. server = "coinsforall.io"; port = "6670";
http://coinsforall.io/#!/coin/DTCAnd put one Vega 56, it shows 285-290 CPD with xpmclient 10.2.2.
|
|
|
<error> kernelxpm_gpu0.cl not found
What have I missed please?
Thank you!
Miner can't write to its own directory? Run chmod -R a+w on it. Current version is 10.2.2, not 10.2.1

If you had a Datacoin pool, I'd totally use it. Your work is much appreciated - been using your miners for years on Datacoin. The Primecoin - Datacoin alliance could bring everyone to great heights
I have hidden DTC pool on coinsforall: http://coinsforall.io/#!/coin/DTC, but it not tested. I have moved I gpu to it for testing purposes server = "coinsforall.io"; port = "6670";
xpmclient 10.2.1 automatically switch to target="9" during connection. why am i getting
* warning: ran out of hashes, increasing sha256 work size coefficient to 65536 * warning: ran out of hashes, increasing sha256 work size coefficient to 65536 * warning: ran out of hashes, increasing sha256 work size coefficient to 98304 * warning: ran out of hashes, increasing sha256 work size coefficient to 131072
Then its starting?
It's ok, miner adjust its parameters at start.

|
|
I've tried changing sieveSize = "630", but miner just does not start.
Miner starts and says Existing OpenCL kernel (kernel.bin) incompatible with configuration Please remove kernel.bin file and restart miner
If you run miner from console (cmd.exe or other) or use .bat file with PAUSE, you can see it. Need remove files kernelxpm_gpu0.cl and others. For Windows 8.1 and 10 with 390 GPUs, I don't have a solution. For Windows 7 and Linux you can use 15.12 and OCL from 14.x http://cryptomining-blog.com/tag/amd-opencl/

Cloned Primecoin Core 0.16 from Github and compiled with autogen, configure, make etc. Used bootstrap and sync is stuck at 3 years and 6 days. addnode returned null.
Anybody else experienced this?
-extro
You can "bootstrap" from old primecoin client data directory. addnode 89.179.119.195 onetry addnode 194.87.96.132 onetry
For use with testnet only first (89.179.119.195) now working. This client can synchronize from same clients or intermediary nodes https://github.com/primecoin-ng/primecoin-intermediary. Intermediary node can interact with any type of client. Old client can synchronize from any type of node, but can't be source for new primecoin-core. First step is replacing old client with intermediary nodes, later I will make release for Win/Linux/Mac and bootstrap.dat.

R9 280x 1070/1600 (ASUS) 0.39 CPD (WIN10, 17.12.2 driver) RX 580 4gb 1366/1750 (Sapphire Pulse) 0.37-0.38 CPD (WIN10, blockchain driver) RX 470 4gb 1206 or 1226/1750 (ASUS Mining Edition or XFX) 0.33 CPD (WIN10, blockchain driver) I use 10.2 beta miner, because it was already downloaded on rigs, 10.2.2 beta miner gives the same results (tested on one rig), so i don`t update it on others.
10.2.2 give same results, but don't generate 4% invalid shares like previous miners. Did you try windowSize = "8192"; for RX 580 and RX 570 ?
