Bitcoin Dark -- ditto
Is out of the NXT group. It will be converted to 'Komodos'. So make sure you understand terms and conditions on the swap ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) My picks are: Doge, LTC, ETC, XMR, FCT, POT [you can play fast and furious with large bid & ask, the bots will arb, i.e. LIQUIDITY] PPC, JBS, LDOGE, RDD, OK, XPM, XMY, Digi, FTC, DOT, Quark, Zeta, Start, BLK, CLAM, NOVA, terra [15-30-60 day holds, buy on the dips, all these projects seem to check out as fairly good networks with chains +500days old] DCR, LBC, STRAT, EXP, Ruby, ZEC, XZC, GAME, SC, nexus, WBB ... are along the lines of ICO/start ups ... I would call them 'projects' since they have teams and big goals ... I would say these are the higher risk / higher reward group too. I favor those in bold. caution: TRUMP and CRBIT ... both these just shot up on the charts (TOO HOT) edit: MileyCyrusCoin ... actual i think the emission tail is not bad if (4 a laugh) UNO community kept MCC seednodes open for 1-2 years ... might be worth the $5/m investment NOTE: MCC may be or may be not be part of the highest risk / highest reward group, TBA, but NOTICE this fact $5/m keeps a network alive, UNO community could/should/and will select a collection of networks to maintain.

Ripple and bitshares rated the most insecure blockchain software by China CERT In December 2016, China CERT released a 17-page security audit report of blockchain software. As per the report, the audit was conducted in October 2016 and released later as “open” document. The report examined 25 open-source blockchain projects, categorizing the vulnerabilities found into 9 classes. A total of 746 high-level attack vectors are detected. Ripple is rated the most insecure one with over 223 highly risky bugs. http://news.8btc.com/blockchain-software-security-report-by-china-cert-ripple-the-worst

'don't require your wallet to be open always to earn stakes'
I have issue with such coins.
Why?
Providing a NODE.
If you have an open wallet this provides ENERGY to the network (seeds).
Cold staking has merits. But it is no incentive for bolstering the actual network.
The merit is Cold Staking grants incentive for HODL. $Finacial.

TALK Ldoge seem to be fairly painless to stake ever so often (and still use your PC) and for a laugh I stake PAC Sprouts
Pool Staking small change with POSwallet and iSpace 1337 rdd ok bean piggy t3k bitbar black
Thanks for sharing this list of recommended PoS coins, mate. I hold TALK myself, but I'm not receiving too many stakes as I don't usually leave my PC running always with the wallet open. Still, it is a very great coin to hold onto for the long term as it is a community supported coin that would aim to survive for years to come. Lately, I've been looking more into PoS coins with high stake rates, as well as those that don't require your wallet to be open always to earn stakes. If there are any good PoS coins that could meet above criteria, then it would be nice if you or somebody else could share them with me. Nevertheless, I'm always buying inexpensive PoS coins, staking and holding them for the long term in case one of them spikes in price sometime in the future. Looking forward to really make profit from coin staking. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)
