1661  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Continuously Loosing money in Trading!!!! on: September 19, 2021, 08:45:21 AM
Perhaps the strategy is outdated. Try something new. That's all the reason I could think of.
You are an experienced trader and you might also be proud of what you have made out of the same strategy that's why you don't want to let go of it.
How about try some round with an experimental strategy and see if you will have a different output.
1662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you see the true bear market coming? on: September 19, 2021, 05:54:02 AM
Wait for Bitcoin to be dumped and I am sure it will be a landslide.
When will it happen? No one knows. It could be tomorrow or next year or possibly not.

Why do you want that to happen? Is there a big reason why you want the altcoin industry to crash? Ain't it good for the companies who own it if the value of their tokens will keep on rising? I only rely on Bitcoin's price and if it's in bear, just a small amount of altcoins will survive it.
1663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 19, 2021, 03:07:39 AM
People keep knocking on Simmons but the dude is a baller.  Yeah he had a bad series.  So did Julie Randle for the Knicks.  Like historic choke, it happens.  Kid is young and is one the better young ayers in the league.  There aren't many at his spot that are better than him at his age.  He will learn.
Julie Randle. LOL  Grin
I think that should be enough for the Ben Simmons rumors. Let's just wait where this kid will fall if the 76ers management is cornered and cannot find a good deal.

While Nets and Lakers are in the spotlight for predictions as a champion this year, let's also look at the 2020-2021 champions Milwaukee Bucks.
Adding Grayson Allen to their roster is a step up for their strength in outside shots.
Details about the trade: https://twitter.com/wojespn/status/1423719062677372937?s=20
I was worried when they let Tucker go but the move for Allen was a good choice.
Better offensively and almost equal defensively. He just needs more improvement moving his feet.
1664  Economy / Speculation / Re: More Investment to Bitcoin? on: September 18, 2021, 02:54:58 PM
If you wait and El Salvador's adoption with Bitcoin is successful then you will buy it at a higher price.
Why wait? Are there other reasons?
IMO, every day is a good time to buy. It's not like Bitcoin will fall back considering how much noise it made for this past few years. I will bet all my Bitcoin that the value of it will just keep on soaring. You just don't know when. It can be 10 years from now or next week.
1665  Economy / Economics / Re: vitalik's contribution is also great on: September 18, 2021, 05:41:25 AM
Credits for him for trying to compete and it was rewarded pretty well.
I actually envy people who have great minds, the wise ones and he is one of them as far I know.
The contribution he made for cryptocurrencies will surely be written in history even if Bitcoin is on top.
I think that is also one of the reasons why I didn't even doubt buying his Ethereum. One part as support for him and another as my view for its future that will surely be innovative and of course, profitable.
1666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The greedy must be poor on: September 18, 2021, 02:32:03 AM
It's part of growing in the crypto industry and it doesn't mean to be a weakness unless you embrace the greed.
The fact is, it's bound to happen. Emotions like greed are part of being an investor or a trader. You want more profit. Who doesn't?
I think it will just be hypocrites who will tell stories that they haven't been greedy in their time.
It also doesn't mean you will end up poor. You can always change the strategy once you learn it.
1667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 18, 2021, 01:16:24 AM
I think that trade is not possible to happen. Irving will stay and play with the Nets for the next season. He is just creating drams like before.

Moving forward to Sixers, it's no secret plan already that Simmons will be traded in the future instead of Joel Embiid. Prior the start of Season 2020-21, Sixers made it clear (I'm sure I read it elsewhere and share it here) that it was the season we might see the final Simmons-Embiid duo.

Still no news for the future of Ben Simmons but I'm sure he will play at the different jersey next season.
This season or next season? How can he play now if he won't even answer 76ers management and players' calls?
The kid is being hard-headed to be traded to the extent of even paying up millions of dollars missing the training camp.
Something bad is going on inside their management and they cannot control Ben anymore. GM won't jeopardize the team's chance for a championship just because of that. 30+ million in salary cap is a large amount and they could find help from a good player with that.

I found one rumor that 76ers would rather take Rubio for Ben than Kevin Love if ever they will trade with the Cavs.
1668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I think I have a gambling problem on: September 17, 2021, 11:19:36 AM
We are on the same age when I started gambling. It was really fun, right? It gives you excitement and adrenaline whenever you look at your bet going near for a win. That's normal but it has to stop at some point.
There will be a time when you will be unlucky and lose more even though you say you just "split even" every night and day.
And when that time comes you will look for money to satisfy the urge to gamble. Where would you go? Loans? Criminal activities? Stealing?
At that part, it won't be an exciting moment anymore. Stop as early as you can, wait for your mind to mature and you can think clearly.
For now, enjoy being young. Play some games that don't have gambling features.
1669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the house of the cryptocurrency market on: September 17, 2021, 04:33:00 AM
If Ethereum is a car then LTC, Monero, etc. are other cars. Just a different brand.
Why the sudden analogy? Will this help you decide whether what coin you will buy that will take you to Lambo?  Grin
It's a healthy market if there is competition but it just became too much. The good thing is people still have lots of money to divide their investments.
Soon though, it may become different especially when ETH 2.0 comes out and if we see good changes about it. Investors will start going back and try to have a piece of it. Expect a big dump to other cryptocurrencies.
1670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 17, 2021, 03:20:26 AM
Yes, he has a foundation, so he is a philanthropist, but Irving could have some issues inside.
He has. And it's not a shortlist.
Last time he bombarded Lebron James with different bad claims in his podcast or KD's podcast if I remember correctly.
Then about the Nike shoe, then some behind the scenes even against his ex-team Boston Celtics.
I think he is not a healthy comrade and that is why he cannot become a franchise player. It's locker room issues that gets in the way and it may be players (teammates) that are asking to kick him out because of his attitude.
This ain't new anymore and he may become the first player to be signed on all NBA teams before he retires.  Grin
1671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is CoinMarketCap a scam? on: September 16, 2021, 08:50:13 AM
You always have a choice of not using it.
They can rank anything on their own criteria but that doesn't mean that is the truth.
You could make your own and rank Ethereum as the top coin before Bitcoin because you are a big fan of it or vice versa.

CMC is just an information center of cryptocurrencies. Let it stay that way to avoid expecting more.
1672  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dollar supporters destroy Bitcoin ATM in El Salvador on: September 16, 2021, 03:59:45 AM
Did it really have to come to this?
Maybe they should start calling them hardcore USD supporters. Government trying to make a change while others want the traditional way and stay being a caveman.
Well, they still have that option but being civilized should also stay. Some people love the change and that should be respected.

My bad imagination tells me they are paid and a higher amount will be given for every ATM destroyed. Like a bounty for Bitcoin ATM's.  Grin
1673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 16, 2021, 03:22:18 AM
Great to see Aaron Gordon get his 92 million dollar bag today. He has in my mind the greatest dunk ever in a dunk contest and was robbed of two dunk championships by terrible judges. He deserves the $ just for that in my opinion. It’s been a long grind for him getting all his skills in order, but he’s a threat from anywhere now and a great pickup for any team.
Great decision. Yes!
As a Denver Nuggets fan, this will really be helpful for Jokic. Paul Milsap is already out so he needs a power forward that could help him take defensive and offensive rebounds below the rim. Porter Jr. is still young and they should also consider him as a shooting guard where he is good at.
With the help of Jeff Green and JaMychal Green, yes 2 Greens  Grin they now have a solid painted area defense.
Campazzo can take care of the outside and be a pest to point guards.
1674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is Best Alts or Defi Coin? on: September 15, 2021, 02:19:59 PM
I only know 2 DeFi's and those are both with "swap" on their names.
Performance base, those 2 swap names seem to conquer the NFT field and they are in the boom without NFT purchasers even realizing it.
If one project defaults to the DeFi swap platform as their means of purchasing NFT tokens then investors will just follow the instruction given.
Damn, I should've invested in those but I think it's too late for now. Could've been a large profit if I were a bit early.
1675  Economy / Economics / Re: How Bitcoin differs from gold on: September 15, 2021, 06:50:39 AM
Gold has been in existence before ages while Bitcoin got into existence 2009
I have been in existence before you so does that mean you have to die because I am older and more experienced?
Friendster and MySpace was the thing before as social media outlet now it's Facebook and Twitter.
What does it all mean?
Something new will be discovered but it doesn't mean we should forget our traditional way of keeping assets. We can support them both but one of them will always have the upper hand. Each investor will have to make their own choice of what they prefer. No one is forcing.
My wife prefers keeping gold accessories while I am into Bitcoin. We never had a problem about it.
1676  Other / Off-topic / Re: Sorare.... are you in it or do you find it to expensive on: September 15, 2021, 02:47:11 AM
I don't think this fits perfectly in the gambling discussion board (correct me if I'm wrong), more like it fits in the Altcoin Discussion since Sorare is a game based on Ethereum's blockchain technology and recently they partner with La Liga to provide NFTs to the players.

Yes, I thought I could compare it with Fanduel doing fantasy basketball and other sports but upon checking it's not. This is literally an NFT game.
Buy their cards, create a team. OP seems to misunderstand the difference between gambling and risking your money by investing.
I'd rather stick with real sports gambling than this. There may be some who like the idea but it doesn't really look interesting to me.
Good luck, OP. Hoping for the success of that project.
1677  Other / Archival / Re: [ETH tokens] Same Blockchain, Different Price on: September 14, 2021, 05:02:06 PM
It's difficult to understand but I get the idea.
They are not really called Ethereum tokens but ERC20 tokens. Done using the smart contract of Ethereum to create a new coin.
Different ticker which means will get a different value in the market.

About BAT vs (n) coin. The market will tell how they will value each coin which is mostly by demand.
BAT gained the demand needed because of its marketing strategy and the trust it planted with investors. While the (n) coin didn't do anything and just expecting too much because of the cryptocurrency hype.
1678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 14, 2021, 01:44:22 PM
I'm hearing rumors that a team is close to making a deal for Ben Simmons.  I think it may be the Sacramento Kings, but that's just a guess based on the description of it being a small market team and Ben Simmons saying he wanted to play in California.  It would be terrible if the Kings had to give up Fox to get him, but it seems like Fox might want out and if that's the case then it would be good to get a guy in return who wants to be there.  I think in the next 2 weeks we'll be hearing an announcement of a trade.
If I am the 76ers management I'll take that deal with Fox. Damn, that kid has some skills already and a lot of room for improvement.
One more team on that rumors is Washington Wizards for Bradley Beal. Wait, Is Washington a small market team?
Cavaliers are also pursuing the deal and won't keep their eyes shut until the end of it.

It seems like there's a lot of offers already but Daryl Morey cannot find that sweet deal that will be rewarding for the 76ers short-term and long-term.
1679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 14, 2021, 07:13:09 AM
In any case, if someone is interested on the outright NBA champions here are the odds from sportsbet:

x19 for Denver Nuggets. Boo. I want more. Make them underdogs.  Grin
No doubt I will bet for them but teams right now are overpowered like Nets and Lakers.
Maybe they should put more with the odds considering the high risk.

Ben Simmons.

A “small-market team” has reportedly made an offer to end the Ben Simmons-Philadelphia trade stand-off, and holds “a lot of interest” in the three-time All-Star.

Daryl Morey. 76ers President of Basketball Operations
Quote
“You look at what Daryl Morey has done his whole career, he’s hunted stars. [James] Harden, [Dwight] Howard, Chris Paul, [Russell] Westbrook, he tried to trade for Harden again, he’s hunted stars, that’s what he wants, so that’s what he’s doing.
This guy is hunting for a better deal. He doesn't want to end up getting future stars (draft trades). He needs that 1 star now to be partnered with Embiid and bring the championship to the 76ers.
1680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 13, 2021, 08:24:08 AM
I'm not sure if the Lakers will focus on 3 point shooting, I guess with the current lineup, they will take advantage of their size and they will bring the ball inside where the big 3 can drive. I know they have 3 point shooters too but are they consistent enough, or can be trusted to produce a good percentage of shot?
Yes, they might become an inside attacking team.
Regarding the outside shooting, they have Melo, Lebron, and AD. Rondo is also doing pretty well with his outside shots so I think they can use them for spacing.
We might not see much of how effective it will be for their first few games but with adjustments, it might work.
On the other hand, Brooklyn Nets is more focused on outside shots, I guess that's also why a hype is happening on what if both teams meet, who will win.
I am kind of excited too.
