661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 10, 2022, 03:24:46 AM
I cannot believe that something we talked about as a potentially a championship team, ended up not being even a decent team after just one season. With Irving and Harden and Durant, they looked like they were really good and ready. Harden went first (for nothing) and then Durant and Irving want out as well.

Fans are right to be angry, Nets did nothing wrong to these people and they took over 100 million dollars for just one playoff run that ended badly right away. I can't say good things about these players, sure Durant won a ring or two, but he has always been like this and Irving has one too and he deserved it but after that it went all downhill as well.
Yeah, we felt the hype from the Brooklyn Nets team and I am also a victim of it.  Cheesy I watch most of their games but when I saw Durant and Kyrie not playing it felt so boring. As a TV watcher it makes you angry already, what more with those who paid for their expensive tickets just to see them play.

I can say good things about Harden because he has a goal during his Nets career. He was there, playing, even though the other two were alternately present. Then what he did with his salary proves it. He badly want to be a champion.

True or false, fake or not, it's a good thing to open the minds of the people who doesn't even have a savings in their bank because they don't trust their own currency. Probably at certain parts of the world where their fiat doesn't have a good value.
That's when a question cloud my mind.
How are they buying? Where?
They could be at the top countries of why Bitcoin is most searched but there's a possibility that it ends there.
Availability will be the barrier on why they cannot invest. Visualize being a merchant accepting less valuable fiat (high risk to fall) in exchange for Bitcoin.
663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH could take over. on: August 09, 2022, 03:30:58 PM
How did you come up with that? Do you have some links for reading materials so we might as well be enlightened just like you.
I mean, because I doubt that will happen. Just because it will change to POS doesn't necessarily mean it will not be affected by the Bitcoin price.
We have many POS in the market, remember that and they are not as dominant as Bitcoin nor Ethereum.
I want to see the logic behind this claim but if it does happen then I would be also joyful about it since I have been an Ethereum fan for ages.
664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Japanese Animation Slot Machines on: August 09, 2022, 01:14:44 PM
It's good for the eyes especially the anime fans but the results will always be the same. The house will win.
I bet their goal is just to make it more playable/marketable to younger generation as old slots are kind of boring at first glance. Who knows? Maybe it will work.
I love the effort though of trying to adopt with the trend today but there's some good and bad effects in doing it. Most likely, it will be younger players who will get hooked so some parents may not like this idea.
665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 09, 2022, 09:01:49 AM
If Kevin Durant wants to leave the team then Nets had better let him go by a nice trade. Being insistent on keeping him here would cause him to be more unhappy and this would be of no use for Nets in the coming season. Irving must be in the same situation now too but we are hearing about Durant the most these days. He has been likely to sign for Suns or Heat but I don't know if they are still interested in a trade for him. Both of those teams would be nice for him imo.
And that's literally the problem why the Nets are not letting him go yet. They want a good piece of the pie in exchange for a better one. That should be enough sacrifice for them but no teams had offered a good one yet.
I bet Kyrie is realizing how bad the situation will be if he talks too that's why he is just silent about this. Besides, it will be better for him if KD will be traded and he will be left as a Nets and try to be the leader which he had been dreaming of.
There's too much sacrifice in roleplayers the Heat and Suns will make if they will try to grab KD. Both will be crippled in chemistry terms.
666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So we've gone from 1 meme coin to one hundred now ? on: August 08, 2022, 04:39:51 PM
Not just shiba, but there's a dozen different others I think.
I tried a couple of them, just to see how they behave in this bear market.
To my surprise one of them was 20% in profit last time I checked ( after about a month ) the other one $50 in profit after one day. Not bad !  Grin
But to be honest I don't think I would put any money on Doge or Shiba... they're already far too high in the rankings.. way... way higher than they deserve. The best gains are made when your meme coin is ranked #800 or somewhere around there
Definitely not bad. Oh, and the meme mayhem seems to continue with the increase numbers. It's a good thing you made something out of it. For me, it's all bad luck and I cannot seem to understand how the market flows when it comes to this cheap meme coins. I had no luck making even a cent. All my trials are a lost cause.
I may try again buying some as this posts made me urge it can be done. It's not that I will keep it, just maybe try and make money and buy it with more Ethereum and Bitcoin.
667  Other / Archival / Re: Entrepreneurship or Office job? on: August 08, 2022, 02:27:55 PM
IMO, it's entrepreneurship if you have the money for capital.
About the hardships in finding buyers, social media is an open space where most people are hanging around buying everything 24/7. That the target for marketing the products.
There will always be a way when it comes to business but being an employee for a company, there is no other way and going up in ranks is a difficult tasks especially when there's a lot of people aiming the same spot.
668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino Games or Gambling Considered Sports, really! on: August 08, 2022, 12:59:49 PM
Poker is a competitive game although there's not much physical thing that will happen in it. But the mental though, loads of it is needed if you want to win the game especially in the bluffing strategy, reading the deck, and predict the outcome.
Billiard on the other hand should have been considered a sport long time ago. There's some physical movements that was needed in it and then also a mountain of mental strategies to think about the next move or where you want the ball to go.
Billiards is like a sport here in my place already. Imagine standing up for a long time, that's exhausting.

Hey guys...
I've been doing some searches on my own, but I would like to know if someone could tell me some kind of website where they show the possible transactions and negotiations of the teams we will have in this new season?

I took a quick look at the official website of the NBA, does anyone know any other sites that can provide this information?
thanks!
It's only Adrian Wojnarowski where I could see fast updates about transactions being made. They are the media, that's why they have sources that the internet could not provide yet. It will all go thru them first and they need to confirm it with facts before releasing the new scoop.
Then it will be fed to different online website sources like ESPN, CBS, and more. We don't have that kind of power unless you have someone on the inside, like scouts and management. They were the ones who will first receive the news and even the players meetings with team managements.
670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth could take over BTC or not on: August 08, 2022, 06:19:19 AM
Your expectation is too high. I believe in Ethereum too but not going too far as taking over the King BTC.
What will happen is, we will see the difference in POS and POW mechanism. Maybe this will be a good learning point for new investors and users of cryptocurrencies to compare the top coins in the market.
Although, I still believe Bitcoin will be the first choice. Just the mere fact of how the market reacts whenever it is being pumped or dumped is the reason why.
671  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the US become EU's oil supplier?? on: August 06, 2022, 02:43:36 PM
Thanks to Iran and Iraq.  Cheesy US is not a supplier according to my own opinion.
They are consumers. And because they lack the capability of producing oil, they tried to make war with the places where its abundant.
US supplying EU is a no go. I doubt it will happen. Even if US will make a promise to do so, EU will not believe it as it will also have a big expense for the pipelines.
It's not that I am a pro Russia but it's not just going to happen for Russia had colonized them in terms of oil supply.
672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 06, 2022, 11:48:35 AM
DeRozan is having his best season with the Chicago Bulls, he will continue next season, with the experience they had last season, they will be more mature and maybe they are not a championship team but who knows a surprise might happen. Remember when the Raptors won a championship, they are not a championship team but they beat the Warriors.
The raptors got lucky. They had a lucky shot against the sixers on their game seven and they play against injury-riddled Warriors in the finals. They have persistent and their teams are veterans with Kawhi leading the team. You cannot say that to the Bulls team.
Too much happened on that series against the Warriors. Steph Curry knew it when Klay went down, there is no way they will be able to win anymore.

DeRozan and the Bulls. Well, they started great last season and was even brought to the hype as a championship team. They have the talent, the defense, and a ball handler that was getting better as he progress.
Lack of experience is only what I see as an obstruction but they have DeRozan and LaVine and then injuries.
What they would need are players that can back them up whenever those circumstances happen again. I was amazed by DeRozan though, he played 76 games and this might be the prime of his career. The Bulls should take advantage of that and bring more roleplayers.
673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Millions are still been raised in this bear market on: August 06, 2022, 10:51:58 AM
Until now they are in the trend, that's why.
It will take more time before it all calm down. Possibly, this are the NFT projects that was expensive before but became cheaper and investors are taking advantage of it.
Just one push back up and it will be a sure profit for them. There are gems in the NFT market and I think the social media is also helping to raise such amounts.
674  Economy / Gambling / Re: A New Era for Betting - (After Corona Circumstances) on: August 06, 2022, 04:30:51 AM
No more queue in the betting line. That's also one of the changes. You can just literally enter the dome and get ready to watch the game, use your smartphone if you want to put your bets because online betting now is exploding in numbers.
You just have to find the right bookie where you could trust your funds and have a reputation to give whatever the amount you will win exactly.
Safer too. You won't be handling cash as you walk out.

676  Economy / Economics / Re: TOPIC: Pros and Cons of saving fiat versus saving Bitcoin in this current econom on: August 05, 2022, 11:33:46 AM
Knowing what you now know, would you rather save fiat more or save in Bitcoins more?
I don't want to pick one because both of them have their usage in my case.
I save fiat at home for daily needs and emergencies and I have a single bank account where there's not much money in it.
You cannot put it all in an asset like Bitcoin because there's not many merchants who accepts it in this generation. Maybe someday.
But, I could say I have a larger amount saved in Bitcoin than what I have in fiat. I don't really care about the volatility yet. It could go moving anywhere but the amount of Bitcoin that I have will remain intact as long as I don't sell it.
677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 05, 2022, 09:44:56 AM
Ok so Drummond already move from Nets to the Bulls, so it's probably Nic Claxton will be their starting center.  This kid has some moves, and has been improving since joining the Nets. So it's good that they have retained him, however, he has no back up in the center position and Howard might be a good fit. Although Nets have been known to play small as well, as they have the two best players in Durant and Irving (if they will remain at least this incoming season).
Yeah, 23 years old and performing very well at center position. He has the speed and he has the spring. A good shot blocker that can keep up even with an opponent that uses speed type lineup. That young, he will gain most of the minutes on that position, a back up would just be for sudden injuries. A power forward might suffice but if they want Dwight Howard then it's better. At his age he also has the speed intact.
Perhaps he could also provide some tips for the young blooming center.
678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking forward to add exchange tokens to my portfolio on: August 05, 2022, 08:47:06 AM
NMX. Nominex exchange - I think this is partnered with Binance too if I am not mistaken.
CRO. Crypto.com exchange - They are not on the leading exchange yet but who knows what the future will bring. Binance was once unknown too.
FTX token.
That's what I would recommend only as the others are not that good in their reputation yet. Also, some of them have staking available in their exchange.
I think most of us do like that feature.
679  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2017 : 20,000$ - Bitcoin 2022 : 20,000$ on: August 05, 2022, 06:35:01 AM
You just urged me to buy more. I appreciate the reverse psychology of your statement.  Cheesy
There's a bit wrong on how you look at the charts. You compared the ATH of 2017 at the bottom of 2022.
It should be December 2017 - $20k vs November 2021 - 64k.
If we want to compare what happened after 9 months of the ATH then here is the numbers.
September 2018 - $6k vs August 2022 - 23k. That should correct it. See how far the difference is if we are using that kind of comparison?

Loser: Payton Pritchard
After seeing his floor time shrink as a sophomore and drag most of his stat categories down with it, Payton Pritchard entered the offseason with a simple objective in mind.

"My first goal is finding consistent minutes every night and gaining the trust where I can be out there 20 minutes a night or more without it fluctuating," he told reporters.
I like this dude. Defensive awareness is high but he needs to be better at the offensive end if he want to be a ball handler for the Celtics 2nd team.
The problem now is they have Brogdon which I think will handle most of that. But, he could still be his wingman and prove his worth to go all the way up although there's still Derrick White.
He did play 30 minutes against the Miami Heat, listing 18 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. It gets better, just 1 turnover. Checking his stats, most of his games played at 10-15 minutes are 0 or 1 turnover.
