If I receive BTC1 as a reward, then I will hold the BTC until the exchange rate rises to $10,000 per coin. It might take 10 or 20 years.. but I believe that I have the patience with me. And I will just keep the coins in cold storage. That means a strict no-no to the BTC-based investments. I have learnt my lesson after losing my coins earlier on various HYIPs.
Lol it was an impossible thing to happen ? high price is the price that is not unreasonable $10k/btc. how the situation of bitcoin at the time? or the state of the world when it happens? it may occur if the number of bitcoin just below 1000 BTC. and the users covers all over the world. maybe the price it will happen I believe it will happen but of course, I don't know when it will going to happen and if bitcoin reaches $10,000 for sure it will just for a short time. Borrowing bitcoin is not really useful. I would recommend you to barrow a paper currency and invest it by buying bitcoins. And that you can hoard or circulate the trading procedure to make it grow or wait till the btc value goes up and sell it. Thus it will be more easy to settle a credit thru paper currency that fluctuates slightly than settling a borrowed bitcoin that would have a higher value later and you will be loosing a lot from it if the difference of the future value would be higher than the borrowed value.
I guess you are right, we have the same thought, as long as I'm able to spend something and does not really need to borrow.
