Thanks, just testing things.

So, what's the spectacle that trust can be seen on the Art Contest thread now, it's still on Meta board and trust shouldn't be displayed, am I right? My assumption was theymos enabled Trust scores on that thread because of this: I'd appreciate it if people could help in these ways: - Give at least 1 merit to meritorious submissions. - If people are stealing artwork (ie. not just using stock images, but true plagiarism), leave them negative trust. - If I give someone 10+ merit but the artwork is much simpler than it appears at first (eg. a fairly simple manipulation of something that already existed), post about it in this thread.

Hi! I'm just using this to test stuff. To join: post some userIDs in code-tags. Notes: "posts" include "topics" started by the same user Updates every hour (I may change this later) History is kept for 7 days I'm not scraping post-titles, only topic-titles Third-party notifications?

So the link-spam has now reached such excessive amounts that more than one spammer posts the same "article". I've reported the second post. Posting the same thing more than once is not allowed. I suspect many accounts of getting paid to spam links to third-party sites. Alt account is allowed in the forum. For instance, LoyceV has alt account- Loycemobile. I have alt account- RapTarXalt Better examples: Admin theymos has theymos_away, and Global Moderator hilariousandco has hilariousetc ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) What is forbidden here is; Cheating bounty Actually, cheating and scamming is not against the forum rules. You won't get banned for it. Chances are you'll get red trust though once it's discovered.

I think it is a flaw that theymos made our DT1 voting public.. ~ I think their would have been and still be a lot less drama and less corruption if it was anonymous though.. I think DT1 voting should be disconnected from trust list settings and anonymized, but as long as it is public information analysis is just going to happen.. I think you make a good point, and this probably deserves a topic in Meta. But I don't think this can easily be implemented: DT1-votes are part of the normal Trust list, and because adding someone to your Trust list has large recursive implications, it's necessary to be able to view who's judgement they Trust ( and who's judgement they Trust!) to decide whether or not you trust their judgement.

LoyceV: add "active" to the robots exclusion list! On second thought: Active doesn't have full posts, so there's no need to hide it from Google. I didn't know dumps are available without logging in. I've been downloading those long before I knew how to feed browser cookies to my scraper.

@Quickseller, I don't understand why you think collecting data about earned merit, trust settings, edited posts, support/opposition of trust flags... is acceptable, but a list of URLs found in users' signatures is not. I think it's about building a database and searching for plagiarism and alt accounts, not about signatures. If you are concerned about privacy why aren't you complaining about LoyceV's trust setting viewer, or trust flag support/opposition pages? That seems like a much more a breach of individual privacy. I like to think of it as adding missing forum features. In an ideal world, the forum itself would offer a Trust and Flag viewer. You can argue about storing Trust lists (weekly) and Flag supporters (daily) to be checked months later, but I prefer nutildah's interpretation: You've single-handedly managed to create a new level of transparency for the forum and its activities by keeping all this stuff documented and well-formatted. Disclaimer: I'm not complaining about LoyceV's trust pages. I find them very useful, and don't believe they are a breach of privacy. All the information is publicly available, LoyceV just makes it more easily accessible. Just for the record: I've shared my view on data collection in another topic.

Assurance of DT feedback should be verified through the reference rather than the comment. In that sense, the comments are more-or-less irrelevant. True. But the only way to see if it's positive, neutral or negative is to look at either the HTML source, or by counting the other feedbacks and compare it to the total Trust score. The problem is the lack of color (not the lack of description), just one word (such as "scammer") could have been enough.

On the plus side - cheap coins. I'm not buying, I'm not selling (except for ordering online goods, but I'm not counting those), so all the pain is between my ears ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Guys I'm thinking about buying some bitcoin. Should I fire now or wait for a bit of a dip? Ask me again next week and I'll answer the question you have now.

I forgot about this thread, but this is the right place to discuss this: you've left several users "empty" negative feedback, which means it doesn't show up as red (but it counts as DT-red): ![Image loading...](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Floyce.club%2Fother%2Femptyfeedback.gif&t=663&c=nGovAMJ7i6_Nkg) (there are a few more that I didn't screenshot) Although creative, I think this is incorrect use of the feedback system.

At moments like this, I look at this thread to tell me it's going to be alright, but you guys aren't really helping ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif)

LoyceV check this.
I'll delete this after 24h.
![Angry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/angry.gif) ???Please explain more specifically. What do you mean to check? Your posts ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Nothing bad, I often make a post from Mobile to notify myself to Merit posts (but I can't instantly delete it on this board). I appreciate users who accept Bitcoin as payment for real world things.

That's 3813 merits in 320 tx's spread over 9h:20m:55s. One tx every 1m and 45 seconds. One merit every 8.83 seconds. I've been a Merit source for a year and a half now. Theymos goes wild for 2 days, and this happens: 21496: suchmoon 13640: dbshck 12088: chimk 10781: Foxpup 9455: theymos 7261: LoyceV 6691: bones261 5484: Flying Hellfish 5400: TMAN 5380: qwk 4507: DarkStar_ Consistently impressive! Indeed!

The moderators went through and deleted all the pedophile smut that OGNasty was spreading last night. :/
LoyceV should have it archived if you still have the message IDs. Or topicID or userID (both don't get automated updates yet, but I've updated them this morning). I see no deleted posts from userID 18321 in the past week. I've checked OgNasty's last 9 posts in this topic, and none of them shows they've been edited by a Mod.
Damn you Maggiordome, you did it again!

I'm bringing your post from another topic here: As I said on the other subject, if it is possible, I would know the part that generates the images ( In private message if necessary ) ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) My guess would be he uses (something like) ImageMagick. It's very powerful on the command line, and there's a PHP version (of which I have no idea how it works).
