I think 100A service is pretty standard in the US. Most homes only use 20%. The 100A is at 220V also.

300,000 K/Hash -- what kind of units are those?
Kelvin? That would be pretty hot. Glad someone saved the picture, incredible. The stars are a nice touch though. its the hash rate for scrypt. check out ltc mining hardware on google for comparable rates. It's not a rate at all. My point was that they should at least try to put correct units on their fake device if they are going to try to fake something.

Try using escrow, double check your addresses, and read up about sites you use.

It's probably fine if you've already encrypted it, but it's better to just print a paper backup in my opinion. Two people can keep a secret if one of them is dead.

But then you couldn't send them to offline storage -- you'd need to have your wallet client open all the time.

It looks nice, but there's no way I'll use an unknown binary.

You should just use ssh, then you don't need either a keyboard or a mouse. (Or a monitor)

Try purchasing in person with escrow on local bitcoins.com. And be sure to post about that guy in the scam accusations thread to help others.

Sorry In the newbie readme it says "do not trust people" -- wise words there.

Thanks for refunding the unconfirmed bids

It's crazy that you can't get the funds to show up. I'd ask you to PM me the private key and I'll send you the funds, but I don't know if I want to be responsible for that.

I can't believe those last two bids didn't confirm, lucky break!

I just watched a mildly funny documentary on netflix -- how beer saved the world.

Bids that didn't confirm are refunded, right?

It's not confusing it's in the first post: Klondike K16 mining unit: Utilizes 16 ASIC chips to produce 4.5gh/s per unit. Avalon ASIC chips may be ordered for BTC 0.086. This fee is due immediately upon order placement. The fully assembled unit, including all necessary hardware, is $133.5, to be paid in BTC.

It says it accepts all sorts of private keys, so you should be fine. It doesn't matter whether you've imported it into something else as long as your bitcoins are at the address associated with the key you can access them with that key from any client.
|
|
|
It really should work -- I'm not sure what's wrong. But you can take your private key and import it into a blockchain.info online wallet. Just don't leave your bitcoins in there, I don't trust it. https://blockchain.info/walletSignup, go to import/export and add private key.
