I think Lebron is the second greatest and MJ the greatest of all time.  Has nothing to do with personal bias, simply what I've seen with my own eyes.

Well, for me, in the top 3, I will put Lebron in the last, just what I see also.

Here's how I rank them.

1- Michael Jordan
2-Kobe Bryant
3-Lebron James

Even MJ have spoken.  lol

Well I'd say MJ is a great player, there is no doubting with this as he got 6 rings on his hand and a true legend of basketball. I'd say there is no greatest of all time, there is only greatest on their ERA, playstyle is far different from what they have now I can say it's more complex. And believe it or not, these people cannot function properly without the help of their teammates which should be a huge factor in rankings. Salute to all the players.
1682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi really a threat to centralized finance? on: October 26, 2020, 12:26:08 AM
On a level playing field, yes. If developers build truely decentralized applications on Defi and regulators do their job well/legally/morally,  CeFi or centralized finance will cease to exist and true DeFi will flourish.
It won't cease as long as there are people who is not comfortable using Defi, or even trust it as much as they do with centralized finance. And to be honest, having decentralized finance is hard it's like letting people do whatever they want with their money they can even evade taxation with it. Defi will only be a threat if wealthy people starts to quit using centralized financing which I highly doubt.

I think this will likely happen in a Just Society with people strongly following Just Law.
I don't think so, I guess it's too early to think of this way. Let's see.
1683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trezor saved my after robbery on: October 25, 2020, 11:17:22 PM
Trezor didn't save you, the criminal's lack of knowledge about Bitcoin did.
Indeed they were looking for money and didn't know about the new form of money found online that can be store in a kid-toy looking flashdrive lmao

And some robbers could have just taken a hardware wallet without knowing what it is, to figure out later, or maybe they would have though that it's some sort of USB drive with valuable data? You need to store your hardware wallet in secure place, relying on criminals not knowing what to do with it is just security by obscurity, and this security is extremely unreliable.
They probably thought it was a flashdrive with files in it but to be honest a hardwallet under the bed isn't a good idea for me, you're right burglars could have took it without knowing anything about it, that kinda save you from those bad people and also you're saved coz you used a hardwallet to secure some of your funds. Still blessed I guess.
1684  Economy / Economics / Re: Why has crypto failed to break through still? on: October 23, 2020, 10:01:59 PM
If you're trying to say that crypto should defeat or replace fiat, I think that will be too hard to happen.
It is nearly impossible to happen given the fact alone that cryptocurrencies is powered by fiat money. Cryptocurrencies won't have any value if there are no injected fiat at the first place.  So rather than saying defeating or replacing fiat, I think it is better to call it a money transition to avoid mass confusion.

Fiat will always be fiat and it will always be functional despite the existence of digital money. Crypto is actually breaking through and we only have to trust the process.
We just don't need to trust the process, we need to participate in the so called process, it won't work alone.
1685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Just a Question... on: October 23, 2020, 08:36:47 PM
I can't say telegram is popular since it got more number of users compare to discord, hell I can make 10 telegram with my sim cards... But discord is underrated form of communication, I even suggested discord for online learnings yet they chose zoom meeting which consumes more data. I think it will just depend on the handling team of any casino,  but having a discord channel will give a better experience for their every user.
1686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why criminals still use Bitcoin? on: October 23, 2020, 08:00:43 PM
What should we expect from a better currency than fiat? bitcoin hide one's identity which is working best in doin some criminal shit in the internet. And this isn't a very big deal  for me, everything can be used in crime there is just the demand for bitcoin because it is on top of the chain at the moment. And speaking of tool in crimes, how much and many times did fiat used in crimes since the very beginning after its creation. Bitcoin is fiat in digital.

I just like the way you blame people for not seeing your post a merit qualified post LOL what a young dumb and merit broke. So what if you guessed it right? What's so special about bitcoin being bullish at this time? I myself even expect it to be that way all the time lmao. You'd stay silent if bitcoin price declined this October and no one will talk about your prediction, so what's your point? Futility level 9999  Grin

China is really up for something, they are like playing chess as if their pieces are all queens, we can't see why they are doing this, for me they are wanting something global catastrophe to happen resulting to devastation to most countries. I find Chinese government as disrespectful one, especially with the UNCLOS agreement in west Philippine Sea, they started building artificial island and patrolling the whole area without even consulting.

1691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a high roller? on: October 22, 2020, 06:15:06 PM
I believe in high rolling; I think if you are afraid to gamble then you should not gamble. If you are not a high roller then what kind of gambler are you? Gambling means wager with all one's might. Roll for big odds & create venous insanity, If luck is on your side you will be a gainer or prepare for another day.

There's nothing wrong with high rolling, but if you think of it, gamblers don't have the same financial capabilities. You cannot just depend on luck all the time, you're like trying to say that bet it all in order to win bigger. Just like martingale system, don't expect it to be working if you only got $20 with you and your default bet is $1, there'll be time that you'll run out of luck winning the next draw opposite as what you anticipated.
1692  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin broke $13k today on: October 22, 2020, 05:41:44 PM
I feel like we are getting another ATH again this year probably  $22,000 or $23,000 I really hope it would. People profiting a lot with defi is surely making their move towards this bullish run of bitcoin  Grin However I regret withdrawing my btc in $11.5K range, I got bored though and quite needed it. Anyways there is no wrong timing with investing bitcoin, anytime is a good time entering as long as we hold tightly.
1693  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paypal is doing it on: October 21, 2020, 06:38:49 PM
We can ignore, we know this kind of changes will come with time because of the potential and opportunities that crypto has especially by next, huge changes are waiting.
We can't just ignore a huge news in crypto like this one, I mean few years ago a lot of us talking about the potential of cryptocurrencies to be adopted by these giant companies especially the money transfer/ online payment company, Paypal. I already anticipated this events to crypto, a real huge potential it holds but to be honest I think it was sped up by the pandemic, I maybe wrong but I feel it is due to the pandemic, what you guys think about it?
1694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: October 21, 2020, 05:49:23 PM
Bro I can't even remember how much money I lost on roobet roulette lmao I am getting an earing via their video review last time I was able to win $30 in roobet in a night with my $40 earning, so my balance is $70, I kept it in a day to play again, the next time I was starting very smooth I easily got $20 in less than 5 mins after hitting a gold, my balance is $90 then I fucked up. I played with martingale technique and was just betting to bronze til I got 8 silver straight. My balance was depleted due to my eagerness to recover lol though I wasn't expecting that.
1695  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paypal is doing it on: October 21, 2020, 03:56:49 PM
Sorry but the crypto you "buy" in paypal remains in paypal. This is as useless as it gets... In fact, its a trap. So you think paypal is better than using your own wallet? I don't think so. And what good is a bitcoin that cannot be used, just sold again to them? This is so foggy, they can even "pretend" to acquire the coins while never doing so, or do fractional reserve practices.
Yes, I can agree on this one but this is where the 'not for all who wants to stay anonymous' paypal isn't forcing anyone to use their platform, what I can see is that they are trying to convince people who does not trust crypto before making them think that Paypal isn't going to let them down with their investment. I personally don't want to use paypal for this since I know another platform could do it better. However this is a real adoption that will trigger the mass!

1696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Paypal is doing it on: October 21, 2020, 01:56:21 PM
Paypal officially announced that they are going to let their users to buy, sell and shop cryptocurrencies on their platform starting in 2021adding services such as this will become a domino effect that might trigger banks to do the same. I can feel it already, next year will be another blast for crypto!

Confirmed!
1697  Other / Meta / Re: Is this plagiarism? on: October 19, 2020, 10:00:52 PM
7 days and still not banned for plagiarism? I think we should put a spotlight on it by reporting of several users so mods could take action to it. @philipma1957 also has a point, he's just repeating some facts but then again he clearly copied/pasted it which is the very definition of plagiarism. This user has 2 counts of violation, ban evasion and plagiarism, must be banned asap.
1698  Economy / Economics / Re: The Real Situation :( on: October 19, 2020, 09:21:01 PM
1.How the hell is going to pay for all the covid madness ?
Well we invented money, so why do we need to pay for it? it's half meant.

2.2020 was expected to be a bad year (recession without covid) now it' s just 2020 ...
This is the worst year that I've lived, it really is.

3.Look at videos on youtube of New York ,and you will see how empty it is ...
People outside does not define the state of New York, everything now is running online

4.Drought and Floods destroyed crops ( Climate change )
Not new. We've been dealing with this for like 10 years already.

5.Trade war + Brexit
Competition these days are higher, no one wants to be low on the seesaw.

6.Govs are printing money
Of course they will. LOL

7.Crazy stock markets ...when in the history of the world did oil ever have negative values ? Only now in 2020
It's negative in value but it is not free. Learn the difference

8.Technology is destroying jobs instead of helping
It's a matter of human application, technology won't work without man's knowledge.

9.No matter how wins elections in USA ...America f..ked up by outsourcing their factories to China ,USA is no longer the Roman Empire ...
A huge huge mistake made by America in my opinion.

10.Prices are doubling worldwide ...in most countries ( inflation )
That's how supply and demand works, but government should have regulation on this one.

13.Planet Overpopulation ... 8 billion people
Well I think the planet is not overpopulated, there is just an imbalance on population with respect to occupying space.

15.People say ...yeah no problem businesses can go online ... no big deal ...but how in the world is going to pay for the transportation cost and logistical stuff needed to send the goods ...e-commerce is expensive and it will increase prices even more ...
That's the expense of convenience, everything comes with a price. Probably part of new normal.

17.They did not invent a vaccine between 1900-2020 for coronaviruses ...they knew coronaviruses existed etc ,do you really think that in 1 year they can do what others couldn't do in 100 years ? How about the mutations and so on ... It's going to take a long time before they find the cure ...
That's not how it is done, coronaviruses comes in the same family but it has different strains, doctors can't just invent a cure or a vaccine for an unknown disease lmao.

18.The world is changing and not in a good way ... i was born in '86 , i seen the 90's,the 00's ,and i remember how it was back then ...sure we got nicer toys this days ,but millennial's will never understand the thing we lost.
The only thing that is constant aside from the speed of light is the Change. That's how the life really works, you can get used to it but it won't last forever. However, it may last a lifetime.

1699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why hesitate ???? on: October 19, 2020, 08:44:55 PM
Certainly humans are not able to see the future and that’s why they are investing and getting greedy to see where their future actually leads them.  Smiley
I don't know what's with OP's mind questioning people who waits for a higher price and ending up with just a little crunch, as if people can see the future lol. Decentralization has a risk such as this, especially when it is made for investment, not really a good tool if you want a safe and sure profit.

Without this wait they are useless since they don’t know true potential. If they withdraw early then they are missing out all time high and many times if they wait then they could end up loosing all of it all sudden.
Early withdraw could be disappointing or regretful, we can't really know what it would be like but you can literally see if the project is worth to wait or has a unique product that is possible to step on a spotlight..

That’s why it’s always very tricky to invest into crypto. FYI most of the time it’s absolutely true that project will end up in chaos, so better to sell out as early as possible.
Crypto is uncertain, that's all we should know. All investment is risky but crypto? Man you're like putting your hand in crocs mouth trusting it not to bite you.
1700  Economy / Economics / Re: Are online communities dead ? I can't find online communities to advertise ... on: October 19, 2020, 08:17:28 PM
I don't think that the online communities are dead, in fact this year as the highest number of people online in the world basically brought by the pandemic.
But I think you are just lacking of something, like in-platforms searches, google just have this prime answers. I think you should dive deeper.

I think Covid is killing the internet also ... as people don't have money anymore ...
I'm thinking of the opposite, Covid wakes up the internet having more people engagements than ever. People has money, not just for your services, company cutting off their employees expect a lesser job needs these days even remote jobs.
