1681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS WALLET??FU!! on: January 13, 2020, 11:24:11 AM
I agree that EOS and its services is a more complicated to use, comparing to other platforms like Ethereum, i'm started using EOS since 2018. but until now im still struggling on how to use it without having any problem since i don't understand its functionality completely (because it was always changing) like you are not able to send your EOS even if you have an enough CPU/RAM/NET, and always saying ERROR. other problems also that staking requirements is changing frequently that's why i stop sending EOS to my personal wallet to avoid those problems, its better to keep on the EOS exchange wallet to avoid those annoying problems.
1682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unidentified TX on my ETH wallet address on: January 12, 2020, 04:14:02 PM
That's odd im using Imtoken wallet both (1.0 and 2.0) respectively for a long time already and im not encountered any problem so far, for me Imtoken wallet is one of the most trusted erc20 and multicoin wallet in the market today, that's why i'm doubting if that so called unauthorized transaction incident was really happen. unless that wallet address on your behalf was already compromise either your private key or mnemonic phrase, in order to protect your funds its better to check your wallet right now or else you might lose all your crypto's if its really a hacking incident.
1683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Says Forks Are Bad? on: January 11, 2020, 02:59:49 PM
I agree with your sentiment but i don't agree of your comparison, who can say that their against of those fork profits? the truth is we are after those free fork coins for instant profits, But how about those who has long term vision and investing with huge amount of money and time. literally most of the fork coins has no difference from original one because they are just copycats or maybe it has but not so important at all, and i don't believe that those copycats can beat the original, those fork coins are only lucky because when it was done forking the market was good that time when it was listed like what happen in the most bitcoin forks way back (2017-2018) and look at those fork coins today except bitcoin cash most of it was already dump.
1684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coming from altcoin to bitcoin on: January 11, 2020, 02:31:16 PM
I don't know if its the right call or not but i just feel like its better to sell my bags of altcoins for bitcoin, most of the altcoins i owned are not top altcoins, mostly new coins from bounties and I've seen coins worth of 2k turn 20$ while holding them, finally i decide to take out the losses and invest in bitcoin, if you are holding any altcoins that aren't good enough do not hesitate to sell for bitcoin to at least make some profits
For me it was a right call mate!Go ahead and sell those not performing altcoins and buy some bitcoin or coins that looks promising, i'm already experience those kind of situation last 2018 when i was holding some altcoins and hoping that it will be more valuable in a few months time, but i was wrong! instead most of the altcoins prices that i was holding was getting lower and lower each day and when i decided to sell, its already too late. because most of the altcoins price was already -75 percent from the time that i bought it. that's why don't let the same mistake will happen to you, sell it now for good.
1685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: War affects the Entire Cryptocurrency? on: January 10, 2020, 01:23:04 PM
As I saw last days bitcoin pumps after Iran declared the war against the United States, On my observation its because some people on the middle east sold they commodities, some stocks and bought cryptocurrency to keep carefully their assets. Do you think guys war was favor on the entire crypto investors? You can share your thought now.
Who says that Iran declared war on United States, i think its a wrong interpretation because they are not, they are just sending a strong message to the U.S out of its anger due to the death its very popular Iranian army general and I don't think those scalation between Iran and the U.S will bring good in the crypto market, in my opinion no conflict or war will produce good results but only devastation, back to the cryptocurrency topic i think the bitcoin price uptrend was due to the new investors coming and pouring in money into the crypto market since its a new year already and i believe that 2020 has many more opportunities to explore specially in the cryptocurrency investment sector.
1686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How i presently feel about bounties on: January 09, 2020, 11:49:30 AM
I'm starting to think its better to promote bounty projects with low allocation like 30k to 50k because they never failed to pay hunters, even if these projects find it hard to met softcap it will be easy to pay bounty rewards, this might be because of bear market but gone are those day of thousands dollar worth bounty rewards unless new wave of market movement takes place
Even the low budget bounty campaign has no guarantee to be successfully distributed after the bounty campaign was finished. But i agree that most of those low budget bounty campaigns will pay bounty hunters as soon as the campaign was done, i also notice that most of today's bounty campaigns is implementing a participants base, pool budgeting meaning if the expected participation was not reach, they automatically slashed the bounty budget into half. btw! lets face the truth that today's bounty campaign are not profitable anymore.
1687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETC FORK INCOMING! on: January 09, 2020, 11:24:16 AM
Great i'm glad that this hard fork is only intended for the ETC blockchain upgrade and it will not result in a new coin, for me it was a great move of ethereum classic developers since it will improve a lot the capability and security of the ETC blockchain, honestly speaking i'm tired of those so called hardforks that resulting in a new coin, because all of them was all after with easy money and because it was just a copycats we cant expect something new or any better!
1688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Mining on a cell phone on: January 08, 2020, 01:32:21 PM
Stanford grads find a way to mine on a cell phone.
500K+ downloads. Protected Google app.
Earn everyday.
weminepi.com
I think these was an old concept that they are trying to resurrect, for me mining in smartphones is not a good idea, you know why because it may break your phone, when you letting it to mine for hours, just notice in a few hours of continuous usage you can feel that your phone temperature was rising in just an ordinary usage? what about if you are using it to mine cryptocurrency im afraid that it might be explode.
1689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Public vs. Private Blockchain, which is better? on: January 08, 2020, 12:59:25 PM
The creation of blockchain has led to a new wave of technological progress, fundamentally changing many industries and systems that used to be the norm. The ability to secure data in a way that is completely transparent and verifiable through a decentralized system has changed the technological world and has been key for the rise of cryptocurrency.

However, a common question that arises is the difference between a public and a private blockchain. In this article, we will explore the differences, including the advantages and disadvantages of both, and their use cases.

https://selfkey.org/understanding-public-vs-private-blockchain/

Which do you think is better?
I think both are good in terms of technological application and functionality. but in terms of purposed for me it has a huge difference, because public blockchain is open and accessible to anyone but the private blockchain is opposite or has a limited network access from others, that's why for me both are useful in different purposes and perspective. but if i have to choose in both of them i prepare to pick the public blockchain since its an open source network so it means plenty of ideas can be used without limitation and censorship which is i believe the true essence of decentralization.
1690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Delists Coinbase Stablecoin USDC Trading Pairs on: January 07, 2020, 12:36:27 PM
In a surprise move, Binance has delisted multiple trading pairs with Coinbase’s stablecoin USDC. The given reason was “low liquidity,” but there’s speculation that it is due to competition with Binance’s U.S. branch.

All USDC trading pairs will be removed from Binance starting tomorrow, according to a new announcement made by the exchange. The move effectively weakens the world’s second-largest stablecoin, USD Coin (USDC), on Binance. In total, five trading pairs will be delisted: ALGO/USDC, FTM/USDC, ONT/USDC, XLM/USDC, and USDS/USDC.

To me, this was an unexpecting move by Binance exchange. I'm a bit surprised about the USDC delisting.

Normally, coins are getting delisted for not having enough trading volume, low liquidity or if they are involved in such scamming or "not so good" activity in the eyes of these exchanges.

Even BSV and other top coins/tokens in CoinMarketCap last year wasn't exempted for getting delisted in such exchanges. What do you think about Binance's recent move about delisting Coinbase's USDC?

Any reaction for this one guys?

Who cares at all as far as i know its a binance right as a company to remove/delist any listed coins/tokens that base on their assessment its not performing or productive anymore its a company's action so anyone has nothing to do about it, maybe its about the competition or something else, i think USDC delisting is not a important matter since if you examine the binance stablecoin trading pairs still you can pick of your choice if you want! btw i never used another stablecoin aside from USDT so its not important to me either.
1691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Qatar Bans CryptoCurrency on: January 07, 2020, 12:18:23 PM
The Regulatory Authority shall impose penalties in accordance with its rights and obligations [...] in case of any violation of undertaking [...] activities that are not permitted in the QFC.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/qatar-financial-centre-puts-blanket-ban-on-cryptocurrency-businesses
Well if that qatar wants so be it, it doesn't matter anymore since more and more countries are openly accepting cryptocurrency businesses but it needs to be regulated first so it can easily scrutinized those who tried to make a fraudulent action involving cryptocurrency,  i think that was qatari regulators message but for now its not permitted to do any cryptocurrency base businesses maybe in the coming months or years it will be change who knows!

1693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to protect your crypto against a natural disaster? on: January 06, 2020, 06:30:23 AM
Really? why should i, as we all know cryptocurrency is a digital form so in my opinion it will survive whatever happens on our land as long as the internet infrastructure was survives still you can access your cryptocurrency holdings anywhere if you have in your position all those private keys that's why for me those expensive hardware wallet was not needed at all in the case of a natural disaster was happen.
1694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High price but no volume on: January 06, 2020, 06:17:26 AM
It's back to square one if you are holding a coin or token for long term and finally altcoin season comes and the token or coin surge in value but has no trading volume on exchange, all your efforts and pain while holding is total waste, do not hold tokens or coins that have no demands, real use cases are what makes them very demanding
I think everyone of us has a different reasons or goal why we are holding any of the crypto project token or coins, honestly speaking its very hard to identify which projects is good and has a true potentials that will create demand in its early days of existence (ICO,IEO days), because it was only "an idea that was merely written on the plain white paper," and we cant be sure if the team or developer will continue to developed those ideas that was written in those whitepaper! to deliver a live product or services in that case we are just speculating and hoping the project tokens/coins will be gaining value in the future. that's why for me its very difficult to choose that was my opinion!
1695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Question regarding the Binance 2020 New year Message on: January 06, 2020, 05:50:33 AM
CZ wrote a long piece on Binance blog under the title Building Foundations - https://www.binance.com/en/blog/419417682154909696/Binance-2020-New-Year-Message-Building-Foundations--. Reading the whole piece, it seems to me that CZ has a true long term vision, which, I feel, is similar to Steve Jobs. But, as I dont follow, all Binance projects closely, it is difficult for me to properly evaluate his claims in the blog. Hence, I am putting forward a question to the community...

Are all the projects by Binance backed by BNB only or they have some other token as well?
I'm a binance user since 2017 and also using BNB for my trading fees, so far im not encountered any problem in the span of time that i was using binance. for me it's one of the most trusted crypto exchange in the entire industry, as far as i know BNB was back by real products and services which is the crypto exchange operation globally. everyone knows that Binance is a thriving exchange and it was not a secret , BTW the crypto exchange industry is very important for liquidity how can we trade our precious bitcoin's if there was no existing crypto exchange in the industry. so it has a specific function in the industry, that's why i believe that CZ is sincere about all what he wrote on that blog.

1697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Using Crypto at Gas Stations on: January 04, 2020, 10:52:37 AM
Actually in my country there is one independent gas station was accepting cryptocurrency as a payment in form of bitcoin, these was published on nov 7 2018 so its not new at all, btw the safety is not and issue since the payment booth is within safe distance from the fuel pump itself and second the payment booth was inclose and inside of a mini grocery so its safe. i was amazed with these development in cryptocurrency payment adoption and waiting for more industry to adopt the same.

1698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Banks are bullish on crypto on: January 03, 2020, 10:15:01 AM
I think its a confusing sentiments about banks saying that they are bullish on crypto,at first the banks treated cryptocurrency as a competitor particularly the decentralized cryptocurrencies, i can recall before that most of their ranks are hostile towards cryptocurrency particularly bitcoin and calling it a scam, bubble, fraud etc. but i'm not disregard the fact that some of cryptocurrencies has a bank partner or client particularly the ripple(XRP), for that matter i might say that it was just a misquoted line saying"Banks are Bullish on crypto" that was my opinion.
1699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we review 2019? Please leave few things you achieved or lost in crypto on: January 03, 2020, 09:47:02 AM
In my experiences last year 2019, I gain some in bounty but its just small amount and some gain from my altcoin holdings, but in contrary to my trading results because im losing some of my money in my trading sessions last year and because of that reality i already change my strategy for 2020 and continue to explore more profitable form of crypto investment of which i can afford to prevent the same thing happen last year in 2019 its just a minimal losses but still its a loss to count.
1700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paying with crypto is more accessible than ever on: January 03, 2020, 09:27:30 AM
In some countries maybe, but in the rest of the world i think its not even close to reality, only the key cities has the capability to accept cryptocurrency as payments, still fiat is the most accessible the dominant currency where ever you are, but in fairness to cryptocurrency, i think its slowly moving forward and continue to find more innovative ways to spend cryptocurrency in real time without hassle. for me cryptocurrency still needs a lot of time to break the barrier and spend cryptocurrency in the form of simplicity just like the traditional fiat money and i hope that day will come sooner that we expected.
