1681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Blockchain is patented, can they bring down the rest of the altcoins? on: July 11, 2016, 02:37:13 PM
Just won't happen, not patented and even if it could be it's kind of too late now to even think along those lines, I am sure it will not stop people trying but I wish them luck Smiley
1682  Economy / Speculation / Re: a few monfs wait time before the price incrase on: July 11, 2016, 08:41:58 AM
It will take a while anyway before we see any movement relating directly to the halving if anything at all, the price has been around this mark for a while now and is quite steady so perhaps this is the best we will see for the year?
1683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase banned Germany & Luxembourg on: July 07, 2016, 03:53:09 PM
Wow, I did not realise that it was not allowed in these countries, Coinbase seem to be very strict in terms of abiding by the different laws, I guess to operate in this scene you have to somewhat.

I am not sure how feasible it would be to use a VPN as you would surely need to link you bank details as that's how Coinbase allows you to buy and sell and I would think it would show up that you are located in DE via your bank details

Launching at 2am over here, I always seem to miss the launching of coins due to this silly thing called work that I need to attend Smiley
1685  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gambling and Trading Sites are awesome!! on: July 06, 2016, 12:09:06 PM
Agreed, both are great as long as you are winning, when you start to lose they are not so great Smiley
1686  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: July 06, 2016, 07:31:17 AM
Nice idea, myself I wouldn't be a fan of it right now until it became a bit easier to use bitcoin for everyday bits and pieces like your bills and so on.  If you did get paid in bitcoin it would be quite interesting as some months if the price shot up it would feel almost like getting a bonus.
1687  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How huge is the Bitcoin Invention in History? on: July 05, 2016, 01:02:07 PM
I think time will tell, a bit too early at the moment to see how bitcoin itself will be seen historically, the blockchain however will probably have more of an impact on the history books as this will be adopted into many different industries and change the way a lot of companies work.
1688  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to join Signature Campaign? on: July 05, 2016, 11:22:39 AM
One other way you could find them is to search for Signature campaigns OPEN as the usual format when a campaign has space available is that they will show so in the title of the thread, although not all do this but it might help you.
1689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is it, Eth is truly going to zero on: July 05, 2016, 10:57:02 AM
This is horrible. It is true that holding a major stake is harmful (the attacker) during the POS phase, but it is much more harmful to the coin and ecosystem if you push for a fork with which they go against everything that cryptocurrencies truly stand for. How could anyone in their right mind be in support of coin control? You're taking decentralization, immutability and censorship resistance with 1 blow. It has started going down (deserved it though):

Long time investors slowly losing confidence on ETH, could be headed back to ICO price.
The ground is the best for ETH after this mess.
Have to agree with you here, I was surprised when they even considered doing this it really does make a mockery of what it is all about in the crypto world.
1690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LOYYAL. The Universal Loyalty and Rewards Platform. on: July 05, 2016, 07:22:50 AM
Is there a block explorer for RBR? I hear people saying that the total amount of coins on coinmarketcap is incorrect but I cannot find the explorer.

I'm not sure the blockchain will help you. The issue is Cryptsy was hacked at a time when many people were holding RR on there. What has become of these coins and if they ever can ever be recovered seems unclear. What it means if they aren't recoverable is that the current price is even cheaper than how Coinmarketcap calculates it....which is cheap as hell anyway to be honest.

The bigger question is how will RR tokens be converted to Loyyal tokens, will they pull a fast one and dilute our share in the conversion or not.......that as they say is the big question. We will find out soon it seems.

This is the major question and the thing that will make current RBR holders happy or sad.
1691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Loyyal - Unmoderated Discussion on: July 05, 2016, 07:21:16 AM
I concern about rbr investment. But when talk of Loyyal of loyyals post I get censored. Dishonest!!!! Afraid my money go to swine like pearls. I want lawsuit for Greg Simon if no answer soon.

RBR? Never heard, please post some info so i can study this project.
It was released back in 2014 as RBR RibitRewards, a reward coin and the developers gave out free coins and I believe there was also an ICO.  There is going to be a change from RBR over to a new chain and a new company name Loyyal, you can find some information here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1508111.0

On their twitter it was mentioned that there would be an announcement this week regarding how the swap will take place so 'might' be a good time to buy in as it is reasonable right now, it has been ranging between the 150 - 300 for the last couple of weeks.

Hope that helps
1692  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Earn bitcoins by watching YouTube videos. Up to 1 BTC per video. on: July 05, 2016, 07:08:00 AM
This will take someone a long long time to earn anything substantial from the site, it is a good model for yourself as the owner but for users they would be better off investing time into faucets.

1696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spanish Resident Arrested for Selling Illegal Drugs Procured Using Bitcoin on: July 01, 2016, 06:51:42 AM
Oh dear, arrested for selling drugs bought with bitcoin, almost sounds as though they were arrested because they used bitcoin to buy he drugs lol, no need really to mention bitcoin at all but bitcoin and drugs do go well together haha.
1697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Final countdown [10 Days before the halving] on: June 30, 2016, 04:45:14 PM
There has been so much speculation over the halving, will the price rocket or will it not, it would be something if nothing at all happened and it was just another day in the crypto world  Grin

I do think that we will see a spike a day or two before it happens, here's hoping.
1698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I keep my BTC during the halving? on: June 30, 2016, 04:40:56 PM
I don't think exchanges are going to pack up because of the halving, it's up to you but I would just carry on as normal.
1699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BRK] Breakout Chain | ICO LIVE Bittrex | Multicurrencies+Smart Contracts on: June 30, 2016, 01:01:13 PM

This looks very promising. The marketing seems remarkable.

When does ICO end ?

What's the ICO site URL to purchase BRK?
Have a look here and you will be able to see the details to purchase BRK which ends in just over a week, you are right it is very impressive.
