There aren't more LN nodes than BTC nodes. There are more LN nodes than reachable BTC nodes. That refers to Bitcoin nodes that are listening for incoming connections. But the default setting when setting up a Bitcoin full node is to only accept outgoing connections. Site bitnodes.io estimates there are over 45 thousand Bitcoin nodes in total: https://bitnodes.io/nodes/all/.

That being said, it's also possible that both that estimation and the total LN nodes estimation is inaccurate. It isn't easy to have accuracy on finding the total nodes of completely peer-to-peer networks.

There is clearly a difference between being a scammer, and having your business confiscated. The result to the victims is the same, but there is clearly a difference. I agree that the potential to lose customers' coins is a very high price to pay, and might not worth it. Better use a trustless option, like coinjoin or swap XMR.

I'd say classic Core lightning. Written in C, offering performance advantage, it is known to being compatible with Bitcoin Core, and it's fairly simple to use. It also uses route randomization which preserves some privacy, as the algorithm doesn't always choose the shortest route. However, I ought to say that LND comes with more features than CLN, such as pre-installed rebalancing (it exists in CLN as well, but I've failed to install it), and is generally maintained by more people.

Installing Raspiblitz, as said, is a good idea if you haven't interacted with that stuff before. It's good to start safely, because lightning testnet barely works, so you'll have to experiment in mainnet.

You shouldn't be using an exchange as a mixer, I don't know how many times I have to repeat that this month. Exchanges aren't businesses with main scope to make your coins untraceable. Pretty much the opposite. They very much keep track of what's going on, and most are likely to share it with chain analysis companies. Unless you're somewhat informed beforehand, we don't yet know what information was ChipMixer keeping in their hard drives. It could be anything, from 4k movies to several blockchain full nodes. So, it's just false to argue they were keeping customer's data.

Είναι λογικό να τρελαίνεσαι για την "επερχόμενη κινεζοποίηση" όταν πιστεύεις πως τα εμβόλια θα σκοτώσουν το πληθυσμό και πως η κλιματική αλλαγή δεν είναι ανθρωπογενής. To me, the only bet I can count on is sidechains. There is no damned way anyone will run a tail-emission-Bitcoin-fork, it's just a giant red flag from a marketing view point. Έχω δοκιμάσει Bisq, Robosats, αλλά έχω ακούσει καλά λόγια για AgoraDesk και HodlHodl. Νομίζω όμως πως το Bisq είναι απλά το καλύτερο. Έχει το περισσότερο liquidity, έχει περισσότερη ενέργεια (θα βρεις να πουλήσεις / αγοράσεις πιο γρήγορα), έχει περισσότερα αγαθά να ανταλλάξεις (π.χ., άλλα cryptos, gift cards etc.), μεγαλύτερο community, έχω άριστη εμπειρία από τους mediators μια φορά που συνέβη ένα bug, και πάνω απ' όλα είναι decentralized και έχεις custody.

Νομίζω πως το KYC είναι από μόνο του κακό, όταν μιλάμε για crypto exchange. Η Binance, όπως και πολλά άλλα CEX, έχει πιαστεί πολλές φορές να έχει θλιβερό security όσον αφορά το private data των χρηστών της. Καθημερινά ακούμε για data leaks στο dark web. Για να μη μιλήσουμε και για τα ακραία σενάρια, που έχουν παρθεί τεράστια δάνεια έχοντας τα KYC στοιχεία ενός ανθρώπου, καταστρέφοντας τη ζωή του. Οπότε θα έλεγα μακρυά απ' ότι ζητάει KYC.

Δυστυχώς μόνο τα on-chain ίχνη. Καλύτερα να χρησιμοποιήσεις από την αρχή κάποιο peer-to-peer DEX, για να έχεις το κεφάλι σου ήσυχο.
