Monday is a federal holiday in the US.

I update my prediction to Tuesday and expect to receive mine no later than Friday.
1682  Economy / Marketplace / Re: [WTS] Bitcoins - Yes, you can buy Bitcoins with Paypal! on: May 27, 2012, 01:04:02 AM
To everyone out there who wants to buy BTC using PayPal, follow this 2 step tutorial:

1. Withdraw your PayPal balance to your bank account
2. Wire it to your favourite exchange.

Perhaps you should tell the movie studios to release their movies on DVD the same day they come out in theaters.  After all, die hard theater fans will still want to pay theater prices to see it there, right?

All it takes is for one person to post their digital copy on a website or The Pirate Bay and suddenly most everyone has an incentive to just browse the pirated copy and not pay for it.

+1

Exactly what I was trying to say, I suck at explaining shit.
1684  Other / Meta / Re: Unjust scammer tag on: May 26, 2012, 09:12:23 PM
Not until the A1BITCOINPOOL guy gets the tag removed.

I think Raize is trying to scam me.

Maged has posted an encrypted version of the address. It doesn't fucking matter, he CAN'T scam you, if you send the BTC to that address it'll be over with. Raize doesn't have to do/say/confirm anything or have anymore say at all on what happens anymore. You can prove that the encrypted version posted earlier is the same as what you paid to.

He supposedly hacked the forum or bribed some admin guy to get my work IP and a picture of my old avatar, if that means anything.

I'm considering this bullshit until I see some undeniable proof.

He is also trying to get me banned for offtopic posting but nobody will admit it or the IP leak above.

Again, bullshit until there is undeniable proof. Also all forum bans for offtopic are only temporary (a few hour/days) nobody has been permabanned for posting offtopic.

So you basically said the only reason you haven't paid the money yet is because your full of shit.
1685  Other / Meta / Re: Unjust scammer tag on: May 26, 2012, 08:29:56 PM
Well Bulanula, its almost a full month now since you got your scammer tag.

Are you planning on refunding at all?

Will you do yourself a quick favour and fire 22.5BTC over to the address Raize sent you?

1687  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: 5 BTC BOUNTY --- BAMT boot issue. on: May 26, 2012, 07:23:03 PM
The flash drive cannot be seen in my BIOS like I can see it when I have a Windows image on there.

OK that is strange. As a test, open up UNetBootin and this time select distribution, then Ubuntu and "12.04_Live". It has to download that image file so it'll take a bit longer this time (unfortunately). See if that boots/is detected by BIOS.

Try this first, I missed one of your posts. I didn't realize BAMT was an img file, I can't remember if that was OK or not when I did this, but try converting it to ISO first before writing it, MagicISO: http://www.magiciso.com/download.htm

What make/model is the mobo BTW? I heard about some mobo's (Foxconn) that had strange problems with Linux distros. Have you ever ran a Linux distro on these boards?
1688  Economy / Marketplace / Re: [WTS] Bitcoins - Yes, you can buy Bitcoins with Paypal! on: May 26, 2012, 06:34:06 PM
I'm feeling ready to jump into the eBay market myself.

I have plenty of virtual transaction experience and dealing with chargebacks (Not dealing with them directly but avoiding them.) What's the best way to sell these? From reading the posts selling a bitcoin by itself is not a good idea? Adding a paperclip is also not a good idea. But selling it with a DVD is acceptable? I'm basically just looking at advice to keep my account in good standing and not about chargebacks. I'm well aware of them and have read all the stories.

So you're saying sell a DVD with free Bitcoins?

What happens when I say the DVD doesn't work, return it but never return the Bitcoins?

Also selling Bitcoins is against PayPal's TOS anyways.

I just edited my post and added a tutorial
1691  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: 5 BTC BOUNTY --- BAMT boot issue. on: May 26, 2012, 06:17:46 PM
4gb Kingston DataTraveler G3

Have not tried any other linux distro but I have used these to install windows 7 on my other rigs and it boots juts fine to the installer.

It seems when I put BAMT on the drive, my mobo cannot see it.  So I figured something has to be wrong with my formatting or .. .fudge I dunno I am so stressed out lol

Those ones work fine. You're saying your mobo can't pick it up?

I'm assuming your running Windows 7 right now, here is a quick tutorial so you can check you're doing it right, as there are many differents methods to doing this, but this is the best IMO.

1. Download UNetbootin from here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/unetbootin/files/UNetbootin/575/unetbootin-windows-575.exe/download

2. Download a BAMT ISO from here:
http://bamter.org/download.html

3. Run the UNetbootin EXE, select diskimage, ISO from the drop down & select your BAMT ISO (don't try and extract the ISO)

4. Select your USB drive in the drive dropdown and press ok. It'll do all the work for you.

5. Now restart your PC and enter your BIOS using DEL or F2 (or whatever key it is for your motherboard). You'll need to make sure USB is the top on your boot priority. Nice guide on this here: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/ss/bootorderchange_2.htm

6. After you've done that restart again and hopefully BAMT should boot.
1692  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need VPS for torrent tracker site on: May 26, 2012, 06:15:26 PM
Is it a private tracker or public?

Most (all?) hosting companies will send you packing if its public.

If you search for russian VPS providers you should have no problem finding one that is OK with it, as there are plenty that do this. Be sure to email them first telling them what you're doing exactly to see if they're OK with it.
1693  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: 5 BTC BOUNTY --- BAMT boot issue. on: May 26, 2012, 06:11:12 PM
Have you tried to use it to boot any other Linux distro?

What make/model/size is the USB drive?

How about this:

"We think outside the box"
1695  Other / Meta / Re: Proposal : Ostracism for scammers. on: May 26, 2012, 12:20:12 PM
I disagree.

The main reason we allow scammers to keep posting is so they can tell us if/what they're doing to repay their victim. People who are marked as scammers remain marked as such until every last issue is cleared up, which can take months to do.

Anyways, most people who get scammer tags move on to their next username.

No need to ban them from marketplace, when have you seen a scammer sell something to someone? Nobody will trade with them, let them post in there so they can respond to threads relevant to their scams.
