Yes I believe, strongly believe. Because a lot of things in this world that exists but is hard to think how it could exist? But with descriptions of God in the book, I became a strong believer in God .. As well as I ask, I prayed and asked in my heart only in God, because only God can listen to the contents of one's heart, only God can give it also. God creates human beings, animals and all the universe. there is the explanation of the Qur'an and I believe.

You realize when you do that you're talking to yourself, right?

If everyone spent as much time taking control of their life as they spend giving up control to a mythological creation the world would be a wonderful place with far fewer wars and misery than it has now. Being in control of your own destiny is a great feeling, you should give it a try.
1682  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who controls the Bitcoins? on: December 15, 2016, 05:50:34 PM
If the whales are early adopters, they might not care for the price of Bitcoin as much as we do. The very fact that they were early adopters and yet didn't cash out could explain why they are still in the game. They are not waiting for the price to hit some certain level, they are obviously waiting when Bitcoin becomes a new global money and they themselves turn into a new wealthy elite.
I suppose I am an early adopter. I have been at it since 2010. Like many of the others I know, we are not interested in the price. I don't care about wealth, just economic freedom. That's what this is about for me and I have no intention of ever "cashing out". I have never sold a bitcoin because bitcoin is the cash I want. If I find myself sitting on a 100 million USD in BTC, I'll donate it somewhere.

So it looks like that I'm right about you, the early adopter guys. You are just waiting patiently when Bitcoin becomes the major money, and then you will be both liked and envied or even hated by smaller people like us, who were not that lucky to jump on the Bitcoin bandwagon in time. But if you don't transact what's the purpose of economic freedom to you then?

Not every early adopter believes that way. Some read the 2011 gawker article about this new money used to buy drugs online. It was instantly visible that this new "dark web" money was going to skyrocket in popularity and price. For me, it was like reading about a young Apple Corp or Microsoft and seeing dollar signs. It was only ever about profit for me. The first thing I did when visiting this forum is read the mining section, learn how to mine and build a mini gpu farm. I knew I wanted to get my hands on as many Bitcoin as I could as fast as I could.

Do you believe in god? If you do, why do you believe? (give a few reasons)

Yes i do with all my heart Smiley its because God is the only one who i admire the most he helps me with my problems that i cannot handle he gave me a blessed day or a good day and he gave me a life to be happy with i know sometimes his not answering our prayers because when you pray give it your all do as you please to convince God to make that prayer happened for some people does not really believe in God they have not experienced the giving of gifts when you pray to God i have experienced it a lot but you won't believe me because i haven't got any Evidence but try for yourself just pray and also i don't have someone to run to if i have some big problem in my hands but God is always listening to me and finds a way to solve my problem but don't just sit down and wait you have to prove to God that you're a worthy follower Smiley
What good you did for God? Why are you so admire what is not? If God was that the world would not be so much injustice and evil! You believe in fairy tales and can't see reality.

You know a quick way to tell the difference between a war story, the truth and a fairy tale?

A war story starts out with, "this ain't no bullshit".

The truth starts out with, "here's the proof".

A fairy tale starts out with, "thou shalt", "thine" or "be not afraid"?

By the way, if anyone ever says "be not afraid" to you, be very fucking afraid and run away because they're getting ready to fuck you up.
1684  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Have you ever exchanged BTC face to face? on: December 15, 2016, 07:39:16 AM
No, I've not. I was told if you want to exchange Bitcoin face to face that you should bring along either gun or small knife in case of any unforeseen circumstances

Yeah, that's a good decision. I wanted to buy something online but instead ended up a felon serving life in prison for murder. Good call. LOL
1685  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: December 15, 2016, 07:15:35 AM
There's one good drug (medicines) company in India that I use to buy prescription meds online. India manufactures a lot of generic drugs for reputable companies and the ones I buy for heart disease are about 3% of cost in some countries. They are even cheaper than most other fancy online stores as they give discounts when you pay in bitcoin.
I think what we are talking here is buying illegal drugs online if I am not mistaken.

Usually, but not necessarily. Their was a guy long ago in the marketplace on this forum named flaxseed that sold illegal, illegal prescription and legal drugs at a discount. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=24196.0
1686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fucking Chinese - Part 2 on: December 15, 2016, 07:09:59 AM
see, this right here is high bullshit...
https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/china-oil-bitcoin-mining-theft/

The fucking Chinese are stealing electricity, polluting the Earth with no conscience whatever, and taking over control of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is totally under the control of about 6 Chinese miners.  The only reason they put all other miners out of business is because they have no morals and steal electricity.  Now, all mining and control of the Bitcoin protocol is in the hands of these immoral bastards.

Fucking Chinese.

Bitcoin is under the control of a few large miners and a few large holders. Sad

The major problem with cryptocurrencies is that we need and depend on electriciy and internet to

create and maintain them. This problem odesn`t exist with gold or paper money.

Don't use logic on people here. It just pisses them off.
1687  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Account Registration on: December 15, 2016, 07:04:12 AM
First of all I admit that I do not have knowledge in regards to bitcoin network. I just want to point out some concerns regarding security.

On my knowledge, bitcoin makes our transaction secured and anonymous. We are aware that before we can make transactions we need a wallet and there are lots of sites that you can get one. Some of these sites requires registration which is totally fine for me. My concern is that, some of these sites requires me to "verify" my identity by uploading government ID's, address, pictures and any other document to personally identify me.

Do you think this requirements ruin the purpose of having "anonymous" transaction over bitcoin network?

There's no such thing as a truly anonymous transaction with Bitcoin for a new user. You need to learn a lot to be anonymous. Don't use any service that requires your sensitive documents to sign up.

Download the client from this link https://bitcoin.org/en/download

Read this information https://bitcoin.org/en/full-node#what-is-a-full-node

If you don't want to be involved in the headache of running a full node and just want to buy and spend Bitcoin download this thin client https://electrum.org/#download

What's POS? Piece of shit? Proof of shit?

Explain.

there is nothing to explain, he is advertising his scamcoin called leo by creating these types of nonsense topics all around the forum.

also i am wondering why nobody out of these comments thought of Point of Sale https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Point_of_sale Cheesy

LOL that's the first thing I thought of when I saw POS. I thought, doesn't bitpay install those for businesses?

not really a 'farm' lol.. 50 asics vs 125,000 asics.. is small fry (hobbiest)

There could be more hobbiest with 50 asic or less doing that,I think electricity stealin gis very rampant in Chinese because they are very fond of mining bitcoin and crypto currency, because they are very business minded and they want to get the most of it in every free way they can, they may be bribing involve here.

You call someone with 50 one thousand plus dollar specialty computers a hobbiest? There are companies with 10 million dollar annual revenue that don't own 50 grand in computer equipment.

Rawdog, I wish it wasn't you that posted this because all the people that have you on ignore aren't going to see it and it is a valid point for discussion. These mining farms could profit a lot longer than anyone else after reward drops essentially forcing other farms out of business.
1692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: December 14, 2016, 10:47:10 PM
I love how Bitcoin brings people together on this forum, united in perfect harmony to support something. When in real life they would probably all despise each other.
1693  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can you stand alone? on: December 14, 2016, 10:36:56 PM
You can't stop using fiat money from one moment to another. We like it or not, fiat is around us, and we have to use it for living. If fiat stops exists one day, maybe then we can use only bitcoin, but now it's not the time

Technically, fiat is only needed as cash

If we take electronic payments and assume that Bitcoin could be scaled up efficiently and effectively (which is a big assume, to be honest), I see nothing that could prevent Bitcoin from substituting fiat. In fact, on a world scale, Bitcoin would beat fiat money hands down any day, since the transactions are propagated almost instantly across the world (maybe, a few seconds at most) and the confirmation times of ten minutes (remember, Bitcoin has been scaled up to the level of adoption) are also almost instant in comparison with wire transfers that take up to a few days, especially if you send money from one country to another on the other side of the planet

Such logic looks utterly suspicious

If everything turns around the dollar as you say, shouldn't we then consider, for example, Swiss franc and Euro as alternative currencies too, in the sense you mean it? If we compare economies of the US and the EU, they are pretty close, so there is no reason to think the Euro is an alternative currency to the US dollar since it could be claimed in absolutely the same manner and to the same degree that the US dollar is an alternative currency to the Euro. In respect to the Swiss franc, it is thought as a more stable currency than the dollar itself, therefore there is hardly any plausible reason either to think that it somehow depends on the latter

That's very true. Altcoins are no more valid or invalid than Bitcoin. The only difference is Bitcoin has been around longer. Angel investors spent money building infrastructure around Bitcoin because it was new and they were looking for something cutting edge to invest in hoping for that "Mark Zuckerberg" success someday. They could just as easily have invested in Litecoin and it would be the most recognized coin today. If Litecoin were around at the time and Ross Ulbricht used it for Silk Road purchases then Litecoin would be on top.

Well, somehow I didn't expect that you would agree with me

I agree with the truth regardless of whether it favors Bitcoin or it's against it. What you said is the truth.
1694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Private digital currency like bitcoin is a threat central bank digital currency on: December 14, 2016, 10:26:26 PM
I think you've got that backwards. Central bank digital currency is a threat to private digital currency.

Circle stopped accepting Bitcoin but not before they learned everything they needed to know about the blockchain (clearly the best feature of Bitcoin). Circle has always primarily been a fiat payment system that also took Bitcoin. Their main use is to allow people to send money around the world in any currency (dollars, euros, pounds or whatever) for absolutely NO fee. You can text someone an emoji and have money hidden behind it or just text them money. They have two factor authentication and are FDIC insured. There's no limit on how much you can send and all you do to sign up is take a pic of your debit card. Its ridiculously simple to use. As far as I can tell, they are the only true competitor to Bitcoin without the transaction fee.

I just sent $500 to my daughter 3000 miles away for Christmas. I used Circle and it took 20 seconds to send, was hidden behind an emoji of a Christmas present, took her 30 seconds to transfer to her bank account and had absolutely NO fee whatsoever (no exchange fee, no transaction fee, no withdrawal fee, no deposit fee, a completely free service). How the fuck is Bitcoin ever supposed to compete with that?

Of course, we will shun them because we worship at the alter of Satoshi. The rest of society will like Circle because it's easy, insured, has no fee and uses your current bank account.

One other thing, I've attempted to call almost every exchange in bitcoinland since Tradehill and was never able to talk to a person. Before I set up my account I called circle and they answered my call in one ring and answered all my questions.

Here are their support numbers if you want to give it a try.

Only to friends and family. I got no interest in meeting a stranger down a dark alley and waving my phone at him or her. That don't sound like the future of money to me.

Hahaha, rolling on the fucking floor laughing!!  Yeah, I agree. If that's the future of money I'd rather start trading beaver pelts for food like my ancestors did. At least they all carried a gun and could defend themselves.

1696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can you stand alone? on: December 14, 2016, 05:07:12 PM
I think it is not possible can stand alone, bitcoin is also influenced by many things, for example, is banned by many the governments. If approved by the Government bitcoin could, will certainly further improve the popularity of the bitcoin and the price will be go up.
It can't stand alone as it's just an alternative currency, it's only popular because we see the price is increasing and has increased from less than a dollar in the past but it will not come to the point that we will be using bitcoin in our daily transaction and we will disregard fiat, not possible IMO.

That is true, alternative currencies can't stand alone as the main currency. Everything turns around dollar because it's a trusted and stable coin, most economy guys, investors, businessmen trust in dollar and it won't change so fast. Currently, as an alternative currency, Bitcoin can just be more one currency in this vast world, however it doesn't mean BTC is less important than dollar or any other currency. On the contrary, the potential of Bitcoin is much bigger than any other currency.

Such logic looks utterly suspicious

If everything turns around the dollar as you say, shouldn't we then consider, for example, Swiss franc and Euro as alternative currencies too, in the sense you mean it? How serious are you about your ATM card? It's the same thing. It's a way to use money. I don't spend all day thinking about my ATM card but when I need it I'm glad it's there.
