Yes, but not in religions. I believe in God because I believe that we can't just exist without a creator maybe he's somewhere there and just leave us on this galaxy and will never comeback again for us and maybe he is not listening to our prayers because for me he just created us and continued creating more other species and form of life and will he will never interact with us.

Which one do you pray to? Zeus or Ra?

We are talking about the Being who set the energies of the universe in place. If you saw God, His divine radiance would kill you faster than if one of our biggest hydrogen bombs went off right in your hand.

God wants you to live so that you have time to see Him in a way that will allow you to live. I mean, imagine that Hubble picked Him up way off in the distance, like 10 billion light years away, so that His radiance didn't kill you. What would you say if you saw Him through Hubble? You'd say something like, "Strange anomaly way out there," right?

For some believers, God is Heaven, or Master, for some Creator and for some Father.
Many roles for one being
It's not the same if you ask, do I believe in Heaven, master or Parent.
For me, personally, God is my Heavenly Parent, creator of universe.
It means also that we are all one, universal family and brothers and sisters.

the "god" is more of an idea that there is something above us that has control and more power than us. Why do you think that god and heavens were in the sky and nothing more explained other than that. Do you think that people 2k years ago knew that we will be going to space and other planets?
