1681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 11, 2022, 07:42:19 PM
There are rumors that Bayern Munich are interested in Harry Kane. If Lewandowski leaves the team, they could include Harry Kane in their transfer list. He is only 28 years old and could serve Bayern Munich for many years. In fact, this transfer would be a very good deal for both Harry Kane and Bayern Munich. Harry Kane is a very good football player but trophies are missing in his career. Bayern Munich, which wins trophies every year, can give him the trophies that are missing. Cheesy
I don't think Harry will ever leave Tottenham. He is extrem loyal. He played there as a youngster and was accepted into the team in 2011, then loaned out a few times and has been a permanent player of the team since 2013 and every offer that comes are rejected. Also Real Madrid was interested in 2021, but they have planned with Benzema for the future. Kane is now 28 years young and I think he will stay after the football in the club and make Tottenham strong at another level.
Right now, as Tottenham management is investing for strength of team and Conte is doing hard work I am also feeling there is no chance he leaves his team in this situation and with this all Tottenham management already tagged him with around 100 to 140 million which is big amount, and I am surely FC Bayern Munich is not going to pay amount like this for any player right now.

Even right now Robert Lewandowski saga is having big impact on them but still it's not possible to invest amount like this with this all they are already had replacement and also working on few other options as well, but Harry Kane is surely not coming into Germany in this season with now they are also having very strong case for title race.
1682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 11, 2022, 07:12:10 PM
As there is a possibility for Chelsea to make a move for Nathan Ake Manchester City have already started to look for a defender to bring into his place. However there are a few more defenders under Chelsea' radar now. Maybe it isn't going to be Ake as a result. We haven't heard about Kounde transfer for a long time but they are still thinking of signing de Ligt. If they lose him to Bayern Munich then their first choice would be Ake I think. Honestly Ake would also be a good choice for them.
Right now Chelsea is working on their defense which is very good because now they are one of the toughest team in Premier League, and they surely need good defender for this they are working on few options which are going to be good for them in coming days.

Like Nathan Ake and few more good defenders are under their radar hopefully they will bring someone as soon as possible de Ligt and one more from Italy all in process, but now they are working strongly on Nathan Ake if they are able to bring him then surely it's going to be good for them after having Raheem Sterling from Manchester City this second transfer will give them good boost.
1683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 11, 2022, 02:38:22 PM
I can't compare Cristiano Ronaldo to what happened with Lukaku at Chelsea. Because the difference is very clear that Lukaku failed to adapt to the Chelsea game last season. That's what makes Chelsea disappointed with the costs they incurred when signing Lukaku was very high but not commensurate with the contribution he gave. While Ronaldo, he still contributes to the Red Devils squad. Even if he failed to leave and stay at Manchester United, I think he will still make a contribution.
Cristiano Ronaldo's future is not clear at Manchester United and with the speculations working around now suddenly Chelsea is strong club for having this legendary player in their squad as they are already having few good players but after Lukaku they are looking for quality striker with right now two are under their radar one is Robert Lewandowski and second option is Cristiano Ronaldo they are working on these both options even we all know Robert Lewandowski is leaving his club Bayern Munich for Barcelona and no one is sure about Cristiano Ronaldo want to leave Manchester United, or he wants to stay here for another season which could be good for him and his future because most chances he can do much better here in this club instead of any other.

Djokovic did drop the ball in the first set, but that was more like a warmup set.  He became unbeatable once his racket became hot. Djokovic is going to be a heavy favorite going into US open. Still, 2 months left for it, but I am pretty sure it will be 22nd grand slam for him!!
for now, there is very little chance that Djokovic will win the US Open. he won't even participate.
Due to anti covid rules by the US government, no one who has not been vaccinated can come to the US. Djokovic didn't, and he cannot travel to the US. he already missed some tournaments in that territory.
This is big shocking news for me and many others those were looking for some entertaining game from Djokovic in US Open, and I was feeling this is going to be tough challenge between these two again as hopefully Nadal could be also set and have his best time in US Open but with this Covid19 rules if he is going to lose this could be surely a big mess-up.

Because, I was feeling now mostly restrictions are ended and peoples can go freely anywhere, but recent new wave of this pandemic is again going to ruin the things which are providing good entertainment for many decades.

Hopefully we will have something positive about this in coming days, which is important for all of us, even new wave is coming very frequently.

I was happy if Kushal Mendis and Dimuth Karunaratne were able to score centuries. But they returned with 85 and 86 runs respectively. Now Sri Lanka's collection is 280/4. And Sri Lanka is behind by only 84 runs. Sri Lankan batsmen are batting very carefully. Probably they have a target to bat all day today. My guess is that if Sri Lanka bats all day today, there will be a draw in this match.
Right now, we are heading for end of third day play with currently Sri Lanka is having 40 runs lead and still four wickets in hand and Chandimal is at crease with this all now home team is in good position even they have fewer chance to draw this match, but good fight back can give them good dividend here. Now it's all one Chandimal and his remaining tailenders how they face Australian bowlers and stay at crease.

If Sri Lanka able to have lead more than 100 then surely this is going to help their cause for draw, and surely they will play without any pressure because any lead less than 100 is surely going to give good advantage to Australia, and they can put Sri Lanka under pressure which could be deadly for them.
1686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: July 09, 2022, 09:29:17 PM
England are not getting any victory form T20 match at home ground against India in this session. India's bowling action is excellent. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah took 5 wickets together where England lost top 5 player players. In this match Bhuvneshwar Kumar plays a important roll by which he select as Player of the Match. England lost both of the two matches by 50 and 49 runs that make them really disappointed.
England surely having disappointment in first T20 because both teams were playing with youngsters and England were at home which is good advantage but still they fail badly and lost match but in second T20 three changes surely favoring India because their experienced campaigners were back in team, and they were favorite for winning this match even England were better in bowling but still again batting dilemma hurts them badly.

All top order batsmen out cheaply just Moeen Ali performed well in both matches but no other batsman were on target and give them any hope for having some resistance in this match with both loses now it's good time for them to learn from their mistakes as World Cup is coming soon otherwise this could be terrible for them.
1687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: July 09, 2022, 06:49:49 PM
It's much better than other subcontinent countries but problem arise when they comes up against SENA or Windies teams.

Depressing running between the wickets, hardly any power hitting except few, poor coordinate on the field when fielding like lack of interest in sprint, dive etc. Rohit is not fitness icon so leave the poor guy alone. BCCI do deserve backlash but imo it's more about culture in Indian cricket, coaching in India only means time the ball well with the bat and hit the top of stumps with the ball. Hardly any coach spend time on improving player's physical conditioning.
With this I can understand what are you trying to say but in subcontinent we can't bring things like SENA and West Indies because of environment and few other factors are also having serious concerns about women and here @Sithara007 is also right if we have Rohit Sharma then body language is having nothing with any player and just not this we already have too many players like these in subcontinent, but they have done good job and women's also can do in this way even some can better.

But, they need to have some better skills and improve quality which is big issue because if you are going to play against Australia, England and West Indies then surely you need quality which will give you better result otherwise they will throw out of stadium without any big trouble.
1688  Other / Archival / Re: What do you expect from bitcoin in the second half of 2022? on: July 09, 2022, 03:04:50 PM
we have stepped at second half of the year and we are already in the second week, so anything may come from here now.

and starting the 1st day of the second week shows another green market, Bitcoin and most currencies increase 2 digits and this is a great showing of power from the investors .

but Hoping that this is not another trap before the true dumping happens any time this year.
Second half or not, anything is always possible to happen here in cryptos. It's just that the year is getting close to an end when we entered the second half so the expectations or the desire of the people is also getting stronger and also if we look on the past performance of cryptos we can see that cryptos value's are doing good starting in the second half of some years.

People then assume that similar events can repeat again especially now that they are too desperate to see a bullish market. They say that the dump we have now is calculated at 74 percent but won't you consider it as true dump? Though there might be some trap in which the price can go back again at 20 to 19k levels.
1689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 08, 2022, 06:22:41 PM
I followed and watched Haller nearly a year now and its the same for him as with Haaland , he also has unique playing style.
If you looking at the statistics he is at some points already a bit better as Haaland .
I guess we will see a very much diffrent and better Dortmund as we have seen last season.
Will take your word then since you have seen him play. Glad that he has improved since he left West Ham for Ajax and now Dortmund. It's a new chapter and new challenge to prove himself that he is capable of playing first team striker for a good team at big competitions. Hope that he can do much more that what Dortmund expects of him.

So what do you think- will they be able to give Bayern a better and tough competition for the title than last season?
I was positive about Borussia Dortmund in last few days as they were investing and having few exciting players for next season but now with the words from @Lafu I have feeling that now we can watch very tough challenge between these two giants from Germany in coming season because they had never been serious about trophies but now after selling Haaland they have few good signings which can improve their strength, and they can fight for title.

In last season they were in good position but suddenly have few big setbacks and specially early knocked out from Champions League were also had big impact on player's mentality but with their preparation going for next season look like they will be in better position and could be more lethal than past.
1690  Economy / Economics / Re: Uganda’s gold discovery: What it could mean for crypto !!! on: July 08, 2022, 11:40:10 AM
Gold has been mined on our planet for many millennia. But it continues to be of high value. Therefore, I do not think that the discovery of gold ore deposits in Uganda can significantly affect its price. All ore will not immediately turn into gold. This is a slow and labor intensive process. Its infusion into the market will be gradual. In addition, in our age of high technology, the cost of goods that are available in every country and are in civilian circulation is growing. It also serves as a guarantee against the depreciation of gold. After all, for every gram of gold there is a commodity that can be bought for it.
In general, this event in Uganda is unlikely to have any impact on prices in the cryptocurrency market.
If it is as much as it is claimed (it is surely not) then it would of course impact it, if you print dollars and that causes inflation, then when you find gold then it is going to make it less valuable as well, same logic. This is why I believe that the best thing to do right now would be staying away from gold because it looks like gold could drop in value if even half of that is true.

I guess that it is just a fake news though, probably something Uganda government or some people made up to get some attention, and probably even scam someone, or maybe get votes, who know what’s the reason. Gold will stay to be valuable in the long run until we all die, it’s for sure.
1691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: July 07, 2022, 07:06:47 PM
In the first T20 match between England and India, India went down to bat and scored 182 runs for the loss of six wickets in 18 overs. But they have collected enough runs to win. India played well enough in today's match. With two more overs left, they can be optimistic about winning if they can score 20 to 30 more runs in 2 overs. In order to beat India, England must play with a lot of hard work and focus on today's field.
A very aggressive start from Team India specially three batsmen done good job in the middle of the match and hit some massive shorts which give good momentum to batting but at the end England's new captain and bowlers done good job and restrict India under 198 which is still good target but after watching bowling from Team India in last two T-20 looking no good for them now we are heading for reply from England in few minutes let's watch how they achieve this target.

West Indies vs Bangladesh third T-20 is just started and Bangladesh on batting after having few early loses now they are on track and Litan Das and Arif Hossain both doing good for their team with after 11 overs they are at 76 for 2.
1692  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: waiting to buy lower? on: July 07, 2022, 06:28:23 PM
That is why you just don't use 100% of your portfolio when buying these dips. Going all-in at one dip is a very dangerous move. If the market goes lower than that then it stays that way for a long time then you will have no choice but to hold your assets until the next market recovery. You also decrease your potential profit because you use all of your capital at a higher price. I know that there are people who have only small capital often use 100% of it to buy the dip but dividing your capital is a must to reduce the risk of your possible loss.
I think it wasn't portfolio are the ones that we will be using when buying coins but it was the money in our own pocket. What I know is that a portfolio is composed of different coins that act as our investments. It's fine to say to use them or to sell them but that must be done only when the bull market returns. If your capital is only small (literally) then it's safe to just all in it. The difference isn't too much if you will divide it to buy more coins once the price dips more. We can still be able to prevent losing as long as we know how to hodl until the market recovers.

It is natural that everyone will always want to buy at a lower. otherwise there is less chance of profit. 90% of people believe bear market not end yet. it has much possibility to drop crypto market . then we can see more dip market.
Not everyone but maybe most? There are those who are scared with the dip and they will start buying once the market is recovering. They know that their chance to profit is low but that was fine, at least it was still a profit and not a loss.
1693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SOLANA PRICE ANALYSIS: IS SOLANA'S $40 TARGET REALISTIC OR MYTHICAL? on: July 07, 2022, 04:11:50 PM
SOLANA experienced a 100-fold increase in value between November 2020 and November 2021, making it a popular growth story. Then, after a short period of time, it had fallen by more than 85% from its peak. Two network outages that Solana experienced in May and June added to the downward pressure already felt in the markets for cryptocurrencies and stocks.

Solana (SOL) has been trading just below the 20-day EMA ($35) for the past few days, but the bears have not been able to profit from this weakness. This suggests that at lower levels, there aren't many sellers.
The buyers will now attempt to push the price above the 20-day EMA. If they are successful, the SOL/USDT pair may rise to the 50-day SMA ($40). If this barrier is broken and closed above, the windows could open for a potential rally to the psychological level at $50.
It is really hard to profit from this bear market but it might be true that the case of solana is quite different because there are coins that still continues to fluctuate because there are demands that keeps on coming from them while from solana, the investors are distancing themselves because they are aware that the coin have some on going issues and I think that was a critical one.

What they are doing for now is just monitoring the coin and they will watch out the news to know latest the updates or to know if the issue have been sorted out already or not before they will start on supporting this coin again. It's better to be safe than sorry though.
1694  Economy / Economics / Re: Fashion Brands uses Blockchain Technology on: July 07, 2022, 10:42:16 AM
Maybe what they've done is the starting step for the next level of cryptocurrency acceptance. As stated in a previous quote, the usage of blockchain technology makes things better on financial system.
Though it's not totally the crypto that they adopt but it was its technology which is blockchain. Still both have a relation and those people will soon find out about cryptos and they will think that it will be a good idea to adopt it as well. I think the main feature of blockchain is transparency so yes it is perfect to use on the financial system which is why it's the first to be used on cryptocurrencies.

I think that these brands are trying to look "elegant" or "modern" using terms unknown to society, but they are very popular like the blockchain.
The use of blockchain in non-financial areas is not considered economically efficient or will achieve a better return than using central methods, so perhaps these brands will benefit from the financial situation, which seems to be in its best condition if you accept Bitcoin.
If they want to look elegant and modern, they can show it better on their designs. I think innovative is a better term to be used there if they are using a blockchain technology because it was still new and only a few industries or companies are currently applying it. Cryptos are not a secret anymore and those who are researching everything to cryptos will find out what blockchain is, so no it's that unknown to the society.
1695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin made you a millionaire? on: July 07, 2022, 06:40:18 AM
It'd be interesting to know how people find and analyse good long term projects that made insane profits. Can you list:

1. How you found the coin
2. Why you believed in the project
3. Why are you still holding or why you sold

I am not a millonaire yet but I bought HEX at $.05 about a year ago and sold at $.20. I thought a made a nice profit but HEX did another 2.5x.
I am not a millionaire myself at all, hell I do not even have a few thousand dollars right now due to the fall as well. However, I can easily say that my friend became a millionaire based on some project called "SBDO", it was bfi or something, had BDO coin, and then SBDO as an extra thing etc etc, it was an algo stablecoin basically just like Luna and it crashed to nothingness just like Luna as well.

However, he got in very very early, like on the first days, and it was super cheap, like 150 bucks or something each, and staked it, made like quadruple of it if I am not wrong on tokenwise, and then the price hit like 8k+ each as well, which made him a millionaire and he sold them all and got out.

let's not forget that Kyrgios beat Nadal at Wimbledon once, 2014, if I remember right
he was relatively unknown, and promising star, and Nadal was in series of season where passing few rounds at Wimbledon was an issue

now Nadal is reaching SF, with an injury, and Kyrgios did not provide much of promised success in previous 5+ years, more or less, just amusement to audience, with his attitude
this match is certainly to be skipped for betting
Right now, with the way both players are doing I am enjoying this all because now its tough fight is going on here both players already faced each other 9 times and Nadal won 6 with Kyrgios won 3 times and in last four matches every time Kyrgios won one set which is interesting fact. Currently, Nadal is facing some injury problem and Kyrgios is having amazing form mean Bookmakers are right if they are having him as favorite player for this match but still Nadal is not going to be easy because today we already watch how can he turn things for himself and still he can go through for final against Djokovic.

I am cheering for Nadal, and hopefully he is going to encourage his fans for another win and another final against his B-3 companion.

I'm wondering if DOGE will go back to sub $0.01 prices ever again? If it never does, will that mean DOGE will someday go all the way to $0.50 per coin? I'd like to know your thoughts about this. Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley
Before the terra scandal happened, Elon musk is already silent. I don't know why but maybe because he is done with the coin. The bear and scandal then came and the latest one is Elon being sued for hyping the meme coin. This worsens the situation for doge and this makes Elon became silent even more because he is also scared about his security.

I know he is rich but there might be other rich personalities out there that are willing to take him down if he kept on doing the same act. It's not the coin that change hands but it was the people. They realized the coin that they support the most are now dead and can't recover anymore so they will start looking for alternatives.
1698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the forerunner of the paperless economy. on: July 06, 2022, 07:14:39 PM
Let's agree to disagree. Since banks went digital and other modes of digital payment popped up, people have been moving digitally for some time now. Bitcoin, on the other hand, is a catalyst for how transactions can take place in the near future. On the flip side , not everyone who owns bitcoin in the real world wants an extra fee for every transaction made. Plus, the major point is that you need fiat money to buy bitcoin. That in itself is a contradiction to how currency works in a paperless economy.

Being a pioneer, Bitcoin sure did make blockchain and cryptos a reality. This created a new economy entirely aside from the established one. When looking at bitcoin, this has to be considered as a long term investment until crypto gets normalized globally.
The OP didn't say that bitcoin was the first but he only said that bitcoin makes cashless transactions became more popular due to its unique features like being decentralized which cant be found on the rest. Real life events such as the covid 19 have also help people to start using cashless since they can't get out of their house but they must find a way to continue doing a transaction.

Fiat is mostly needed to obtain a bitcoin but there are mining, faucet and so many ways to obtain a bitcoin without needing to have a fiat on hand. Many people look at bitcoin as an investment asset but the default use of bitcoin are actually a currency.

Unemployment at least 50% in usa at least so how THE wprld world will look like ?
Definately all prices will 80-90%down
You just gave a rough statistics without a reference backup source, and this is ideally not professional, because we would have love to see a proof to your statement.
It's hard to believe without a proof because he was talking about the u.s country there and I think u.s is a wealthy country. It's not hard to find a job there. The pay rates are also quite impressive on this country. 50 percent is too much already but I would agree on it if he is talking about the third world country like the Philippines where the complaints of the people there are mainly about the job or unemployment.

How will the world look like if unemployment rates are high? Well it looks bad, very bad. 80 to 90 percent drop in the price is too much. It may seem a good thing but how can people avail them if they don't have a money because they don't have a job? It's still useless.

ICC clearly has no intentions of taking cricket to larger levels like Olympics. Let more countries join in and play the cricket that's the only way associate counties can improve there crikcet.
ICC is turned into ICP (International cricket politics) Where conspiracies are hatched against small teams.
Here I agree with @CryptoYar now we can call this ICC as ICP because of their hypocrite political behavior and poor management they need to review about this all constitution if they want to alive in this era which is bringing some strong methods for growing your own things in huge way and can earn big profit, but they are still doing politics which is not helpful for anyone.

For second question why Commonwealth included men cricket brother they have done this, but ICC refuse this which is wired, and I am unable to provide any solid reply about this because if they consult then surely we have many ways to handle this situation but brainless ICC management have no enough time for this all.
