I don't know how but Chelsea are still going for Lewandowski to sign. Because while there are Barcelona (especially) and PSG wishing to sign him also Chelsea don't have a huge chance to sign him. Chelsea must be feeling confident because they have no problem with money for now. However it is the same for PSG too and I'm pretty sure that Barcelona have allocated the money needed to sign him already. Bayern Munich are just turning down the offers one by one for now.

Right now, Chelsea is the most busy team in transfer window with they already sign few quality players but still have desire for few more like De Long Robert Lewandowski and Raphina mean they want to fill their all weak points but right now most chances they have very few chances for having these players in their team because these all are having desire for playing into Barcelona, and they are also doing their best for having them in their squad even facing some serious troubles regarding their finances.

But, Chelsea which is just under new management having good chance to have someone from this list because they are also preparing for strong contender for title in next season after finishing at third spot in last season.

I can't compare Cristiano Ronaldo to what happened with Lukaku at Chelsea. Because the difference is very clear that Lukaku failed to adapt to the Chelsea game last season. I agree with you, all speculation about Cristiano should be stopped. apart from that Cristiano must also be aware that he is not young anymore, he should know that there are not many big clubs interested in his services. maybe this season MU is not competing in the UCL but there is still another season that surely MU must try to be able to play in it. True, it seems that this will be the end of Ronaldo's speculation because management and coaching have agreed that indeed he will not be sold now and will still be wearing a Manchester United shirt for next season.

As you said, it is true that Manchester United don't want to sell Ronaldo mainly because he is an important player to keep. Ronaldo told Manchester United management to be sold because he felt Manchester United were too slow in the transfer process so far. I wouldn't be completely sure it's just because he wants to play in the Champions League, but there's another problem that makes Ronaldo want to leave Manchester United and that's because Manchester haven't had good maneuvers in the transfer window so far.

He among the world best players, and he probably want to participate in the upcoming Champion League competition. While, United ended last season at the 6th place on the standings, and couldn't make it to the top 4. But, they don't seem ready to sign Ronaldo out.
