1681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram refuses SEC's demands - Deposition this month on: January 03, 2020, 08:36:24 PM
Frankly, I'm sick of these Telegram rumors. Every day we read the news about Telegram. But there has been nothing tangible for months. It is claimed that it has continuously raised 1.7 billion dollars. Who did they get this money from? Where are those who made these investments? They've been waiting for Telegram to show up for months? Quietly?

I'm not sure if I made a million dollar investment I would have waited silently for 2 years! And while all this was happening, there was no official statement from Telegram! Don't you think that's a bit suspicious?
1682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to protect your crypto against a natural disaster? on: January 03, 2020, 08:31:55 PM
When a natural disaster strikes (such as an earthquake or a hurricane) you'll need to protect your most valuable assets. While most people preserve physical cash for events like these, crypto proves to be a better solution (as it's intangible). The most common form of securing one's crypto funds is a paper wallet. However, this method is not resistant against dust, water, or even fire. Even hardware wallets are susceptible to harsh environmental conditions over time.

I know there's something called "CryptoSteel" which is a seed wallet that's fireproof, waterproof, and even shockproof. The only downside is the price which is quite expensive. Which is why, I'm looking for the best way to protect my crypto against a natural disaster that won't break the bank.

Any recommendations or suggestions will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley

Protecting Cryptocurrencies always involves risks. But I don't think this CryptoSteel thing is very reliable.

1) Because we cannot produce this wallet ourselves, the private key can always be accessed by someone from outside. (Any person in the production process)

2) This wallet is designed not to disappear physically. So in this process, this wallet may fall into the hands of someone else. It may not be easy to hide.

3) International travels can be risky to carry with you. It can be noticed on Xray devices. Thus, there may be problems in passing through customs.
1683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of browsers add-ons on: January 03, 2020, 01:50:59 PM
For those who don't know or are addicted to browser extensions you need to be careful because many browser add on are dangerous and they can steal data and keys from your PC, the latest dangerous extension is Ledger chrome extension which is fake, this add on does nothing than steal your backup recovery phrase

The source is right below
https://nulltx.com/fake-ledger-chrome-extension-causes-major-problems/amp/

If you don't want to have problems with this issue, instead of using add-ons, you can use quality browser with ad blocker feature.

Brave and Opera are good examples. Especially Brave is a very nice and comfortable browser to use.
1684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin stats to kickoff 2020 on: January 02, 2020, 12:35:00 PM
In a report I read today in the Cointelegraph, Bitcoin hash rates were going up to the highest levels in history.
As you can see here;

This seems, something is coming for us Smiley I think that way.
1685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FA Cup: Wolves VS Manchester United on: January 02, 2020, 12:26:00 PM
Man. Utd's hard work. After the defeat of Arsenal, they fell back psychologically. Hard times may be coming for Solsjkaer. Still I think it's a favorite across the street from Wolves.

For sure they're planning the second options to recover the previous loss. That's taking pressures as their team is now struggles to have the best that they can to beat the wolves. This team had a good standings, so it needs strong manning in order to cope up from several fall downs.

Frankly, I miss Man Utd, the ambition to win, directed by Ferguson. At that time there were failures, but there was always an effort to win. Man Utd has been moving away from that level for a few years now. Actually Solskjaer had a sense of change in the early days, but I don't like the team recently. Liverpool continues to dominate the league, as did Man Utd before.
1686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Counted Or Estimate All Your Losses And.... on: January 02, 2020, 12:04:29 PM
Unfortunately, the nature of humanity does not work like this. Earnings always aim higher. So today $ 100 can be enough for you. But in a month, why don't I think it's $ 200? They always think like that. There was a video about it.

A person with a 2-seater car likes the hatchback vehicle passing by. The person with the hatchback car likes the one with the sedan. Sedan, Sports car ... Sports car, helicopter ...
I mean, everybody always wants more. Its human nature.

Guys, I think we need to end this CSW hostility. Yeah, well, none of what this guy says makes sense to me either. But the free world is something like this, everyone should be able to say what they want.
1688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple is less decentralized than BTC and ETH, but that’s not necessarily bad on: January 02, 2020, 11:51:04 AM
No one can explain me the logic of comparing BTC to XRP. It may not be correct to compare any coins with XRP. Therefore, do not go to such comparisons in vain. Always BTC and ETH> XRP!

1690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is the main purpose in gambling, always to make more money? on: January 02, 2020, 11:44:40 AM
Mankind has always wanted to achieve more since its existence. If it wasn't for that, we might still be living in caves. We must thank our ancestors. Smiley

That's why it's always one of our natural instincts to make more money. But we have to take great risks in doing so. But did not our ancestors do the same? They risked losing their lives during hunting. We always wanted make more money, and we will try always...
1691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: January 02, 2020, 11:40:26 AM
That decade was really an ups and downs time for Real Madrid and undoubtedly it was one of the best decades of this legendary club in European football, First of all, Cristiano Ronaldo has made the way easy for them by scoring almost 40 goals in every season. besides Ronaldo, we have to mention another big name like Ramos, Modric, Tony kroos, Navas and Karim Benzema were the key thing during this time, of course, Zidane made the whole thing in a compact way. I hope to see his dominance in this level of football again and again.

BTW I red a news today about Mbappe. Real Madrid has just signed a contract with Mbappe's little brother. News said, this contract made because R. Madrid wants to buy Mbappe.
What do you think? Is it possible? Real Madrid can afford Mbappe price + salary?

It was nice bet. I've never met before, I've been met, I would definitely bet on this. I think the 1.60 odds is very good for this range.

1694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery In Your Place on: January 01, 2020, 01:53:41 PM
While people have a problem of trust, even for state-played lotteries, it doesn't sound wise to play lotto on such unknown platforms.
1695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 01, 2020, 01:50:53 PM
Some reports seem to hint that Emre Can will join PSG and Paredes will go the opposite way and join Juventus in the January transfer window.
Emre Can seems to have taken it badly that he wasn't included in the CL squad. The management also made a mistake not explaining it to him properly and they are also to blame.

Can said on twitter that all they did was call him and tell him in a few seconds that he wont be part of the CL squad. Very unprofessional attitude by the club which has unfortunately become standard by this management.

They should have explained it to him properly. The reasons being that Chiellini got inured and Rugani, who wouldn't be part of the original squad had Chiellini stayed healthy, had to be included instead.

Why would Liverpool want to sell Emre Can? Lately the performance may be a bit low but I don't find it right to go on a mid-season transfer.
1696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cloudbet withdrawal almost 48 hours and still pending on: January 01, 2020, 01:47:58 PM
In case of such problems, I always recommend that you first contact the support of the relevant platform. You're more likely to get professional support than you'll find here.

Great to hear that your problem solved.
1697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum co-founder Secretly Sold $11M Worth of ETH on Christmas Day! Got Outed! on: January 01, 2020, 01:46:04 PM
He thought it would go unnoticed because we would be full and occupied with family on Christmas Day!

https://www.cryptozink.io/ethereum-co-founder-jeff-wilcke-secretly-sold-eth/
So are we going to crucify this guy for spending his own money? I thought the guy had stole something or worse. You mean to tell me, he spent from his own wallet and now hes being dragged through the mud?
I can understand the impact it may have on people, if a guy important as he is for Ethereum platform is dumping his hard earned share could cause investors to lose faith. Wilcke said it wasn't an unsubstantiated claim, that the funding was to support development for his game.

I agree with you 100%. Don't we always aim to make a profit, including those who speak here? That's everyone's purpose. So if this guy wants to withdraw his money for any reason, can we criticize it? I do not think so.
1698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wrong accused projects on: January 01, 2020, 01:43:00 PM
Most projects with strong scam allegations especially with good proof are actually scam in the real sense, even if they try so hard to clear the scam accusations. I remember a project that deleted me from their group for asking about their team identity and if they will host a video AMA or attend any crypto conference. Also some guys complained of admins suspected to clear up all buy orders after listing, yet the coin is still listed and trading on those exchanges. Well, a few projects have false scam allegations even though I'm yet to come across any.

Yeah, it was mostly like you said. But we found scam accusations made very unfairly. Therefore it is not correct to think that every accusations is valid. I remember so many people who once said TRX scam, for example...
1699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO's popularity is starting to slump on: January 01, 2020, 01:01:36 PM
In my opinion, this is logical, because IEO and ICO essentially performed the same function, no matter what. This is the same as shoes and sneakers. It seems to be different, but it seems like one thing, but you can’t put one and the other on your head. It's exactly the same here. I knew that this would not solve all the problems.

Actually there is a big difference.
You should trust project when you join ICO. Because only important thing is just projects worth. And there is no one you can ask what is going on except project team.
You can trust the exchange which runs IEO. If exchange is good one, it is hard to list trustless project. For example, we can always trust Binance's IEO than many other ones.

So there is a middleman in IEO. And if it is trustworthy, project is also.
And I know that many exchange listed scam IEO's. So we won't trade in that exchanges anymore.

I can't think of any new coin than ferrum network, i missed the bounty early 2019 and hunters quickly dumped but price increase a lot after a while, some said the ceo lied about University things but who cares? The project is doing very well and others are already calling it scam

how did you think Ferrum was scam really?
Which scam tried to collect just 1 million $?
Ferrum is one of the greatest potential in the market. Moreover, most of people don't know anything about Ferrum yet.
