1701  Bitcoin / Press / [2016-05-23] Bitcoin Catches On With Gold Bugs on: May 22, 2016, 11:43:18 PM
Kanishka Sukumar, a consultant who works in midtown Manhattan, says his parents often stash money in gold for safekeeping. But the 24-year-old thinks there is a better place for his savings.

"In times of financial turmoil, I would prefer to see a portfolio full of bitcoin,” said Mr. Sukumar, who holds about one-third of his wealth in the digital currency.

Bitcoin is gaining traction with modern-day gold bugs who question the stability of paper currencies or worry about protecting their savings during the next financial crisis.

1703  Bitcoin / Press / [2016-05-20] Bitcoin Price Holds Long-Term Support on: May 20, 2016, 04:13:44 PM
Bitcoin price has declined to long-term support and looks set to continue lower toward the 1-day 200MA near $413 (Bitstamp). Traders should retain funds allocation near 30:70 BTC vs fiat. Bitcoin price is declining just as the US dollar is surging higher. Once a convincing set of buy signals show in the 1-hour and 4-hour charts, we will turn our focus back toward the upside and $470.

The article about price and fundamentals, promised yesterday, has been drafted and will be published over the weekend.

1706  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: May 20, 2016, 01:42:49 PM
I am gonna choose gold now, but i am sure that i will change my mind after halving but if price will not increase high nothing will change.
before halving or after halving I would still choose bitcoin. because I love these commodities and currencies. If you already love him you would believe the bitcoin and its future
i believe bitcoin , i beleive bitcoin can survive for long time, but i can't put all money at bitcoin, i save my  money at some place, bitcoin , etherum, XVG, fiat etc.

of course we must believe bitcoin, but you can risking your life just for invest your money at bitcoin.

1708  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: May 20, 2016, 01:39:22 PM
What I like best in bitcoin is that I can earn money through it anytime and anywhere, no limit, just a matter of time that I can spend to it. Also the convenience that it offers in terms of sending and receiving money, anytime and anywhere too, no breaks, no holidays. I really have a full control of my money with bitcoin  Grin

Right, I like your answer, It is really best thing of bitcoin that Bitcoin has no time limit, and this point is very helpful for us, no one has problem with it, any where and anytime we can do our work with bitcoins. also it is good for any kind of people who are businessman or doing a job all kind of the people use it, and that's great.
i don't think that any office is here who has no time limit, we can work day and night.
you know i m doing a job, and part time i m also doing bitcoin job, and i think i m lucky who know about it.

also we can use bitcoin as sidejob, we can spend our time to trade bitcoin, caliaming faucet , join giveaway anytime anywhere Smiley
i like it too.
1709  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: May 20, 2016, 01:33:46 PM

Are you inspired by those bitcoin millionaires? Are you thinking of filing a resignation letter on your day job (if you have any) and focus on bitcoin instead?

Me? I do have a day job and I consider bitcoin as my side job. I don't want to lose that another source of income just because bitcoin is awesome.

I'm waiting for those bitcoin millionaires to share their experience on how did they become successful with bitcoin maybe that could give an
inspiration for those aspirant bitcoin enthusiast.
Me either, I'm considering bitcoin as part time job, but I don't know what will happen in future maybe I would shift.
Don't expect that because they will not share here, they are busy reading the news about bitcoins and thinking of a possible investments to increase there current millions.

i think you can be mllionaire if use bitcoin as sidejob, you must focus at something if you want to be succes.
some people like vitalik buterin, steve jobs, gavin andreas, bill gates etc. they are leave his college for focus at something to be succes.

i think you must leave your realjob if you want to be succes with bitcoin.
1710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: May 20, 2016, 01:29:15 PM
Future is full light for Bitcoin. It has reached so far and successfully survived through thick and thin. The most important thing which made it where it is today is it was not taken serious competitor.Bitcoin's future now is easy to predict that is very healthy and stable.Just good will happen no doubt anymore.

i hope you are right, because some new altcoin, sometimes make me doubt with future of bitcoin, like ETHERUM now very popular and big market like bitstamp, coinbase now add etherum.

sometimes i think bitoin will be dead after unmineable, because bitcoin not have POS feature for running full nodes, also miner will use his hardwate to mining other cryptocurrency

im Ex faucet member/user. i use some faucet with more than 20account and my earning is very low, i can get higher satoshi from campaign than faucet.

are you know some faucet can't load perfectly with TOR browser ?
1713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: May 20, 2016, 12:44:23 PM
Many problems guys, price not rising, price being stable for a long time, can't spend it physically, confirmations taking too long, but still I love bitcoin  Grin

I don't think price is the problem in my opinion only the problem we have with bitcoin is that sometime it gets confirmation late. I know its not a fault of miners too but its annoying to sit back and wait for the confirmation to come.

in this case i agree with you, im use some wallet, in xapo and coinbase i need more than 6confirmation to deposit my bitcoin, in mycellium, blockchain.info , electrum, i need only 1confirmation.
some times the problem is i need to send a litle satoshi to top up my number phone, it's need only 1 confirmation. my transaction only 100k satosi but i must pay fee arround 20k satosi to get faster confirmatin  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

so i must pay +20% of my litle transaction , this is why sometimes i like other cryptocurrency like Dogecoin, verge, etc. less fee faster confirmation too.
1714  Other / Archival / Re: should i save btc for future? on: May 20, 2016, 12:39:21 PM
i have a little doubt about btc price in future.should i save btc for increasing value of bitcoin?

or maybe price of btc will be down in 5-10 year
just imagine about future of btc and tell me should i save bitcoins for future or not...?
You should save some coins for the future but not all of them, most people are just holding there coins for the future because they believe the price is going to be higher then we have seen. But I like to sell some coins sometimes when I see that I can make a profit.

for me better we split our money at some cryptocurrency like ETHERUM, Litecoin, XRP, Monero, XVG ETC.
now i save my money at XVG and bitcoin, i save at place where the dev very active and comunity very strong. also the marketcap of XVG is very low.
1715  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Earn 1 BTC Weekly! on: May 20, 2016, 12:36:56 PM
i get free vouch of copy, but it's very basic way to earn money, it's very basic tutorial/method to earn bitcoin. No more .
in e-book i see "The Secret Bitcoin Earning Method" but nothing special.

for newbie you can buy this ebook ( just for learn and never thinking to get 1btc/week without capital) , but for people who know bitcoin, who know how to earn money, Nothing special at this ebook .

sorry for my review.
So how much you think one can earn with this tutorial and how much time one is required to spend every day? When can we reach ROI?

it's depending about how much you can online everyday
i think you need more than 2month to reach ROI

this tutorial is very basic not worthed to buy it for you.
1716  Other / Off-topic / Re: {ANN} bitcoinpotbot {ANN} on: May 20, 2016, 12:34:32 PM
Sorry if I misled any one, this is how it works: You send me $7 dollars worth of bitcoin to my bitcoin address and I will give you $14 dollars
Worth of bitcoin after 100 days.

Or you can receive 0.0002 daily or 0.0014 weekly any method you choose but it does include transaction fee since I use block chain wallet.
Really it depends on you to how much you are willing to pay me, not more than $100 dollars since I can't afford to refund if I lose the money
By that I mean I am putting the money in a trustworthy mining service and if they scam me I can how ever refund your money as long as
It is not more than $100 dollars worth of bitcoin.

This system will become null and terminated if any one posts here with the proof which is the public note attached to transaction sent.
You can specify the way you would like to receive your profit in public note, how ever if daily payment is lower than block chain wallet fee
Then I will send weekly. and there are no referral system because I am taking the commissions as my cut in this.

And note that I'm not forcing anyone to participate or just send me bitcoin blindly, I am counting on my forum account and this thread.

Any feedback with proof of me scamming results in termination of this project.

This is my bitcoin address: 1VcMSTJZC7WACq1vhJZWoaAcE7QV4YBnQ

By my math $100 dollars worth of bitcoin can earn you $1 dollars daily or you can get $200 dollars in bitcoin after exactly 100 days.

i think you are running ponzi scheme or investor based games
better you move this thread to Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Marketplace > Gambling > Investor-based games
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=207.0

JUST REMINDER YOU WILL GET SOME NEGATIVE TRUST BECAUSE YOU PROMOTE YOUR PONZI SYSTEM

Yesterday at Google’s I/O developers conference, CEO Sundar Pichai briefly spoke about a custom-built chip that helps give Google its edge in machine learning and artificial intelligence. The chip, dubbed a TPU or Tensor Processing Unit (in keeping with Google's A.I. platform TensorFlow), is specifically wrought for running Google’s decision-making algorithms. Most companies like Facebook and Microsoft use GPUs for their machine learning and artificial intelligence.
But Pichai’s speech and the accompanying blog post only reveal a few details about TPUs. About the only useful thing we know about the chip is that it’s an ASIC, or application-specific integrated circuit. ASIC chips aren’t bought off the shelves, but designed specifically to do one task very well without using a lot of power. They’re used in applications that never change, like the controlling how a phone battery charges.

1718  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: May 19, 2016, 08:39:05 AM
I don't think trading bitcoin currently is that profitable so that everyone could just quit their jobs and trade bitcoin, and get a large profit from it. It is also pretty volatile, there is no guaranteed profits.

So no, I don't think I'm going to quit my job just yet. But in the future, I might.

you can choose altcoin trading, the fluctuation rate is very high, like etherum is good altcoin to trade it.

now im buying $XVG (Verge) at 7sat, hope the price rise to 15sat soon Roll Eyes

Ever since BitQuick was breached and shut down the service, there has been a lingering doubt whether or not they would ever make a return to the world of Bitcoin. Things were looking rather bleak, and rumours were circulating regarding the potential sale of BitQuick as well.

However, the platform has been made accessible once again, and a countdown clock indicates the company will resume its business on May 31, 2016. The same two people are running the platform by the look of things, and it remains unclear whether or not new owners are involved.

Running away from taxes eh?  Seems like a good reason to like bitcoin. For me, I like the fact that I don’t need to use a credit card because my parents wont allow me to get one, so bitcoin really is the way to go.

yea running from taxes is my other reason, in my country each transaction take 1-10% taxes fee.so it's make me pay more than what i buy.
i think bitcoin is good way for people who not want to pay taxes.
