1701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Alt coin to invest in 2014 on: June 29, 2014, 10:48:11 PM
Chancecoin is combining casino games and blockchain approach, to create the first ever decentralised casino. Not like counterparties peer2peer solution, where you bet against other people, but real house bankroll and edge.

This already sounds awesome?

It is secure: Why? Because it is based on the bitcoin blockchain like counterparty!

It is provable fair: Why? It is opensource and uses the New York online lottery drawings that happen every 4 minutes! You can check if the results are correct!

It is fairly distributed: Why? The coins were brought into existence using a proof of burn algorythm, where Bitcoins had to be destroyed to create CHA! Even now, the price of one CHA is equal to the price of the Proof of burn, so latecomers are not at a disatvantage!

It is inovative: Why? The developer team created a client based on bitcoinJ, the java bitcoin implementation. It is lightweight, fast and easy to use.

It is staying innovative: Why? The developer team is constantly thinking about introducing new games and in the coming weeks a video poker game will be added!

It is a good investment: Why? As a holder of Chancecoin, you are automatically investing into the house bankroll. So as a holder you will always have a positive expected value ! No dilution through new mined coin! No inflation! Only deflation from here on out!

It is fun: Why? Come on, everyone likes to gamble once in a while Wink Why not do it directly in the client? I rather trust the bitcoin blockchain, than any anonymous bitcoin gambling site with my funds to be honest!

It is social: Why? Integrated chat, highscores, highroller lists, all time highest winners any many more things to come!

It is dirt cheap right now: Why? At 0.44$ a piece and only 514000 coins EVER to be in existence, the market cap is only 230000$.

GIF of the awesome client:

Chancecoin just released the newest version!

The newest betting mode is: POKER

Here you get dealt 2 cards and see the cards of the opponent and the flop. You can now bet something or fold. If you want to bet, the client calculates the odds of you winning. This odds are then played like a dice game, but your bet will be resolved with revealing the last 2 cards, instead of a number. Pretty cool and addicting!

Obviously the degenerate I am, I tested it already and are am up already, weeeeeee

One of my bets, SHIP IT!

Want to see what coins have an equal market cap?

RIDICULOUS RIGHT?Huh?

Well, the smart investor will know why this coin will be on the top of 2014s biggest winners Wink

I hope you can understand why I LOVE Chancecoin and why you should too!

I have a few suggestions/requests if you don't mind:

- Speed of processing the bet. It seems the "processing bet.." text is here for 10-30 seconds, I am sure this could be improved?

- Could we implement a "Input"-Splitting? Like an option, where you can decide if you want the client to split the inputs up into 0.005 parts or something like that. because if you only have one big input in your address, you can only make 1 bet every 2 blocks, little frustrating. Or maybe if you bet, the input used is split in 2-3 inputs if it is the only input available.

- resolution of the card faces, they look really screwd up. Maybe be can increase the quality a bit?

I love the new poker game!! Really lovely and addictive.

Added feedback. Found out I'm trusted now  Wink

actually you're not, but the trust system shows "your feedback" always as trusted, because it asumes you trust "yourself" Wink

just exchanged few messages with "peled"s old account. Obviously it is not him. Broken english like the one you get when typing into google translate.

Beware!

Just saying: Be careful, I am not sure it's not a scam.

While Qora showed some willingness, we shouldn't ask him for any of the BTC. Its his pay for his effort. Its an awkward question to ask him.

It pretty much ended there...  no need to bring it up again...  we got plenty of QORA to throw at people!   Wink

If anything...  the community should pay attention to the fact that qora hasn't even bothered to move/use the IPO BTC...  lol   Cool

Yes, he should keep most of the funds from the IPO, he earned them! (Although if he has massive amounts of QORA himself from investing into his IPO riskfree, then I would only partly agree Wink )

Other than that, I hold 5,7 M qora for marketing, that is good enough for the start I think!
1710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PoS+PoW] eXocoin [EXO]-gen 2.0- dev. from scratch! Give-Away | Open Beta on: June 26, 2014, 06:12:55 PM
French translation is a joke..

Then help fix it Wink

If nobody is decided to, I'll fix it.
But as I already took part to the give-away I prefer to let the bounty to a latecomer (if still possible).

Just take the bounty and then donate some of it Wink Seems more practical and you can decide who it goes to!
1711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NXT VS NEM on: June 26, 2014, 05:36:36 PM
litecoin was a clone look where it is at now... you calling it shit too  Roll Eyes

Technically it was only pumped when people missed the BTC pump.

The thing is NxT capitalization and volume is very low.  When I was looking at NxT volume it was technically less than NEM.. then it shot way up (like 10x within hours) after I made a post on that subject.

It looks like huge manipulation from a whale to make it look NxT has actual volume.

Ahh the good old NEM-shill....

You are one of the most irrational NEMsupporters out there. All the rational ones maybe don't support NXT, but atleast they agree that NXT is superior to what is out there today.

On the other side, most NXTers don't hate NEM like you do NXT, but think its intresting and are somewhat invested...

Yeah NXT and NEM should be friends. Lets hate Qora together  Grin

Only coins that don't offer much need hate and fud-spreading to survive Wink

NXT and NEM will do fine without shills spreading missinformation, or blatant lies

yesterday I dreamt about a cool feature: A second password, that you can use to make your account start forge. This password can even be public, as the rewards would always go to that original account.

This password would be generated using the passphrase but there is no way to reconstruct the original password using this second password.

Advantages:
No risk when unlocking the account to forge.
Compatible with cold storage
No need to pay fees to lease the account

Disadvantages:
None really, maybe some extra work to implement Wink

i mentioned this somewhere in like the first 100 pages of the original thread

disadvantage is blockchain bloat. still worth it though. i think its a better option than leased forging by a mile.

Well, then lets pay the min fee in NXT to create those password and store the hash of it in the blockchain.

Ya just sign the public key of the forging keypair with your account key and store that signature + the public key of the forging password in the blockchain. ezpz. it is a little bit of blockchain bloat but really it is very tiny.

I x-posted it in the nxtforum. Lets see what the geniuses say Wink

Why was someone with the same avatar as you supporting a scam coin IPO?

That was a standard avatar on this forum. Probably 500 people have this one...

New online wallet up and running

https://nxtblocks.info/

Thanks Eadeqa, you got ahead of us in this thread :-)

Web site seems pretty slow. I hope the wallet isn't that slow.

Which part of the site is slow? We have given special consideration to make it lightning fast.

It is liqhtning fast!!!

Really congratulations on that project! Looks epic.
