My only concern is, what is the assurance that in the long term there would be enough mining hash power to sustain the network? This is quite important to the development of a coin.
This is actually an extremely important point. When the coin gets down to like <10,000 per block, the network hash will be so low that any big rig can come in an do a 51% attack. I'm not sure the current design of this coin can possibly survive past a month. There certainly must be solutions and I think it's important to consider them. Quark has a similar model of generating most of the coins early on, and it has turned out to be a success so far. It would be nice to get this out of the way. QRk's distribution was nowhere near as bad as this one. Also QRK was for sale at 37 for weeks/months and there is only 250 Million coins. This one has billions do the math you would have to give this out for free for months to get the distribution QRK has. This is essentially nothing like QRK. QRK was an unknown new chained algo it offered something new, and still it sank to nothing for months. Still even now QRK suffers from being called instamined .....imagine how bad this coin will have it...... This is dead you just don't know it yet, i hope it will be a lesson to noobs when every single one of these instamine clones die and become worthless ....then you can go mine something that will bring you some reward. If you get first to exchange.... press the dump button hard and fast. If there was a BAN button i pushed him 11 billion times to ban you ! Please get a life and spend your time at some other things ... Hehe just make sure you press the sell button at the exchange that fast and that frequently the second topscam is listed on the new scam exchange. Ok well, i've done my best to help you guys see sense i await the next scam instamined shitclone to appear in 5 mins time. I wonder how many of the same people will be there. Call it what you want but no matter if it dies or lives there will be people who make money from it just like every other "scam coin" or "shit coin" or whatever you want to call it. In the meantime I will continue mining it because just like every other forum on the internet the trolls will troll. |

I have been told PXL will be listed on coinmarketcap.com very soon and am hoping that will bring our hashrate up.
On another note - We lost a lot of miners today - I am interested in hearing opinions on why PXL is not attractive to mine. I know the difficulty is high but with block bonuses there are many coins that are a lot less profitable to mine that have 10x the hashrate.
I think a lot of people are just moving to new coins for instamines... Atleast that I'm doing for a day or 2 and I will be back to PXL .... Right now I'm buying up all the cheap PXL while they are still cheap. Also any idea when the difficulty will drop? No word on the big exchange yet? Difficultly drop is still something like 1100 blocks away. At this rate we are talking months.... We should be averaging 144 blocks a day but to do that we would require about 112mhs (7 x difficulty). I only have ~700kh/s but I'll keep chipping away. |

I'm looking at these sell orders and I can't figure out why people sell for so cheap? These coins in my opinion should have a lot higher value. I guess I'll just buy up these cheap coins and hold them till value gets to where it should be.
Agreed. Ridiculous really. The first sell order on the new echange was already low. No body even attempted to try and raise the prices. Oh well. With the way this coin mines and the dev team and intrinsic value behind it there will be a lot of sad PXLess ppl soon. I'm hoarding. :-) Yeah I don't get how coins with nothing different besides a logo have a much higher market value. We are getting added to CoinMarketCap soon - this is when people will realize the coin is undervalued! I almost guarantee there are a lot people backing this coin that are just sitting back hoarding while all the miners who just mine and dump on a daily basis get rid of their coins. I'm gonna continue mining and buying. This and POT are the only 2 coins that interest me right now but have way more interest in PXL . |

Hashrate keeps going down  I'm on pot.bitember.com and I checked mine about an hour ago and it showed my hashrate 0 now it's back working again . Pools must have went down |

I'm new to the whole bitcoin/altcoin scene and the only reason I came to this forum was for the altcoins section and I'm sure I'm not the only one. I keep reading of all these "senior members" complaining about the altcoins but without the altcoins would bitcoin be where it is today? No one knows but I can tell you this without altcoins there wouldnt be as many new people joining the crypto world. From my experience when I first looked into the crypto world I looked into bitcoins and mining and said wow I joined in way to late because to mine bitcoins it's very expensive to get any real amount. Then I read more into it and found altcoins. That's just my opinion.
