Anyone mining ETH on W10 getting any good hash, not sure if SP's miner solved the problem?
CCMINER DOES NOT MINE ETH-- Genoil's miner, a CUDA coded miner, mines ETH. If you search CryptoMining-Blog.com, you will find the latest release. Genoil and sp_ have collaborated, but the CUDA Ethminer is Genoil's. Win 10 is reportedly bad for Ethminer performance on nVidia cards. One miner keeps touting a specific nVidia driver for Ethminer and Win 10, but he may be trolling. I have no Win 10 rigs. --scryptr Alright, thanks buddy. |

This is what I like about this coin it's being a stand alone miner i have downloaded it now and now syncing it once it sync i will try the mining features,I believe in the future of this coin but I only have 1 cores that would only be good for 7 to 10 hashrates having aes cpu extension is also very important, it doubles the performance. Pretty sure that CPUs supporting AVX ISA makes some what better difference than AES. |

This coin reminds me of DOGE.
the only thing in common is an animal as a logo :-) What I meant is that DOGE was underestimated because of it's 'funny' character but at the end... it did pretty well.  DOGE has been the most ridiculous hyped coin in cryptos history, there's nothing in any way good about it. Hype made it rise, and fall. |

Looks like he CPU pool has been down for good. Lord have mercy, lol.
Difficulty on the prime channel remains relatively high considering the cpu pool is down (are you sure its down?), when the pool is running the diff usually hovers around 6 and it's currently at 5.7. I did notice that, I have two bats, one of Colins, the other of Cestballots. Colins doesn't work upright, and Cests says "Failed to connect to mining LLP server". I knew for a fact that there are some farms on the CPU channel since it's never really been below 5.7, just as you're saying. according to pool website server is down for maintenance. Cestballot is usually pretty fast on posting when there is an issue i wonder if he is aware of this one? It's been down since a couple of days. I don't know what's happening with the french guy. |

as you can see, i am new  , but i have a qustion about cpu-mining with the wallet, i allmost mine 16 hours and found any bloks  , is this normal ?? i have core i5 760 ( 4 cores of 2.8 Ghz) and 16 gig ram and when i check the debug-screen : 2016-02-21 18:40:40 Hashes Per Second=12 (total seconds=149 hashes=1928)

Definitely should make this a GPU mineable coin if possible.
It's just that the fun to mine isn't really there anymore when the difficulty gets this high.

Hell of a time for bittrex to put their wallet in "maintenance".  They were one of the first to change its name to Verge. Oh well, maybe some demand wil build up.....it iS the top volume verge wallet. Yep. I just woke up to check their XVG price and can't access it. A web search tells me it dropped a couple of sat overnight. Maybe I should have bought from the darknet/deepweb/whatever at 2 sat as BoscoMurray showed us above? Edit: They're back up again. Price is now 15/17. *sigh* It always sucks to ride the bottom wave, but the good news is that now we can know where it stands. |

Someone trying to manipulate the price? Reviving the hype? - or just sharing insider information? Your guess what to believe from someone named "yeswepump". Hype only happens once, later on news is what does the rest, if you believe in that kinda stuff. The faster the price goes up, the faster it comes down, a gradual increase in price is what we want, it's too early to say anything right now. |

Ok guys a little bit of help for a newbe POW miner. The first 3 days I got one block per day using just the click menu mine icon. The 4 th day was the 17th I got two blocks. Since then I got nothing. I have tried to use some of the different switches posted in the thread. not been able to mine a block in about two days. I have a AMD FX 8350 4ghz 8 core 16 gb mem. Can someone who understands this a little better please pick the appropriate switches for my computer and I will try them next. Thank you guys in advance for any help you can give me. Fish
I'm using this : -gen=1 -minermemory=2 -genproclimit=4 ( that's work very well for me) 3-4-5 blocks/day ( I have the same CPU) This only uses 4 threads? |

This is pretty old, might have said it before, but I feel like every time I try to GPU mine NIRO, the difficulty jumps 5x, like as someone jumps on it that has 10 times more hash or so.

I agree with the later part, that way people can read exactly what they want to, and how it benefits nexus.
Btw, I had someone compile Wolf's binary, but it turns out that it doesn't work, thought I'd let you know.
I'm curious to know what didn't work. I can compile WIn64 binaries using my own cross tools, but cannot test them. I think it'll be better if you directly ask Epsy that question. |
