Hi guys, how can i mining this coin with more of 1 pc  Huh

You can mine this coin with as many computers as you would like
Thanks for answer dude, but i mean if i have more of 1 pc how point the others pc to mining in 1 wallet together?

Well when you say it like that.. I did'n think you meant that way at first.. bc I have answered this question so many times.. at this point you can only solo mine (solo meaning every PC mines separate)

If you want all your blocks going to the same wallet, use -miningaddress (all your blocks go to this address)

If you missed it and don't feel like reading through the thread to use -miningaddress="address" and or optimize your miner see below

1. Make sure your wallet is closed

2. Make sure your Hodlcoin-qt.exe is on your Desktop

3. Bring up Run (Press [Window] + [R] on your keyboard)

4. Paste below in Run
%userprofile%\Desktop\HOdlcoin-qt.exe  -gen=1 -minermemory=2 -genproclimit=4 -miningaddress="address"

*Note put your address in place of "address" like this "HEX8QLWqQ7p7MFNiN8CMrMjC2CYAy8pwi9"
**Note minermemory should be "1" or "2" on windows any higher and you ger a Runtime error
***Note minermemory is the amount of Ram your using and must be multiplied by genproclimit to equal totale Threads you would like to use example (-minermemory=2 -genproclimit=4 is 8 Threads)

I have a question for you Sir. I am new to POW mine if you use these switches and HOdlcoin-qt runs will the little miner pick show it running or no? I have use the above instructions and had no luck the last 24 hrs just noticed the mine pick was not there. UGH second guessing myself.

All is good!! its just a bug in the code.. its all fix now and will be released soon..
Thank you makes me feel better. Now i can sleep good now dreaming of a block to come.

We badly don't need an exchange at this early moment....

So then how is this open to those who want to invest in Hodl without mining and those who cannot possibly mine?

About 10% more hashes.
My 8 core AMD FX @4GHz went from 120 to 130 h/s.

This is true, if we want more people in on this then we need an exchange and we need to stop hodling everything we mine. HOdl should be a good price this early on so sell half and Hodl the other half. Time to start building the community.

Was wondering that what's the difference between the interest paid on the current balance, compared to HOdling it for an X amount of time.

Was wondering that what's the difference between the interest paid on the current balance, compared to HOdling it for an X amount of time.

Ok, I should probably start writing an FAQ. I'll start here.

FAQ 1: How in heck do I calculate what interest I'm going to get?

1. The Standard Interest Rate
Interest is paid on regular balances (outputs), on every block, for a period of up to 30 days (561x30 blocks). The rate is  0.0000002384185791015625% (1/2^22). It's compounded every block, so the rate is approximated 5% APR. However, remember there is a maximum of 30 days, so to get that APR, you'd need to log in each month and shuffle the HODL to a new address.

2. Term Deposit Bonus
So if you lock an amount of HODL as a term deposit, you get a bonus on the interest. The longer the deposit, the bigger bonus. The bonus is just a multiplier of the interest, so if you locked up 100 HODL for 1 year, you'd expect a return of 5 HODL. The term deposit bonus for 1 year is about 100% - so at the end of the term you'd have 110 HODL (Capital 100 + Interest 5 + Term Deposit Bonus 5). See the chart for the multipliers, or use this formula - =(1-((409530-X)/409530)^7)*100  (X is the number of blocks to lock for, min 2 days, max 1 year)

3. Bonus Interest Rates
So here's where it gets interesting and also a little complicated. To encourage early adoption, astronomical rates of interest are paid in the early months. The max rate is 0.0000152587890625 (1/2^16). Compounded, the rate is 2274%. It's reduced every block by a multiplier - calculated like this =(409530-X/409530)^4 (X is the block where the amount is locked). See the previous chart.
So to calculate your full bonus return . . . it's
Principal + ((Standard Interest + (Bonus Interest * Bonus Multiplier))*Term Deposit Multiplier)

n.b. When a Term Deposit matures, it stops earning interest - you need to move it to start earning interest again.
n.b. Bonus rates are paid on regular balances too
n.b. The bonus rate is locked at the time of the transaction, the rate you can achieve reduces over time due to the multiplier, but once you're earning that bonus rate, it doesn't reduce.

Ok well first we have seen a nice bump in Hash power.. but are you Linux or Windows? Windows you can try 2/8 (ram/threads) it may run stable and a little faster (if your system is to laggy or your hash rate dips.. go back to a 2/4)... if your Linux 3/4 should give you a boost and run more stable then the 2/8 from the Windows.. Windows is limited at this moment to 2gb of Ram
