As soon as we hit 6500 on MintPal people started dumping at ridiculous low prices. Now begins the race to the bottom...SMH

It is very frustrating to watch people purposely set their sell orders lower than the current sell order price just to undercut someone else. These sellers are just not using common sense. Right now there is HIGH DEMAND for BlackCoin, just look at the 24 hour volume. You do not have to keep lowering your price to fulfill your sell orders! Just set a reasonable price ABOVE the current price and just wait a few minutes. Your sell order WILL go through! We would have been well above 7000 sat by now if it wasn't for some people selling low for no apparent reason.
Remember there are a lot of kids trading too .... even $5 profit is amazing to them. Adults are holding on to their coins. Even selling all my BC for $2000 right now still isn't big to me. I make $2000 in one week at work. I want to sell my BC for $2,000,000 at the minimum. Good point Mellomike. I keep forgetting that kids trade and $30 is a fortune to them. Like you selling right now for a few thousand dollars is not worth it. I rather wait until BC is worth $5+ before I even consider selling a few. I do not have a problem with people selling, it is good for the coin. I just wish people would sell smarter. |

Hi All! I know everyone is excited by the growth of BlackCoin. Many of us have supported the coin from day one and have predicted it will be successful. I know everyone has predicted numerous targets, but I do believe based on other coins with similar volume and community support, it will settle around $5-$8 USD. However, how quick this happens depends on a few things that is suppressing BlackCoin's growth. A successful coin must be bought and sold to keep momentum going, but we do not have to try and undercut each other to make a profit.
1.) If you are going to sell your coins do not try and undercut your fellow sellers. If you see a sell order for 0.00005337, you do not have to set your sell order to 0.00005336. A few sat do not matter either way. However, undercutting your fellow sellers usually starts a race to the bottom because the next seller sets his/her sell order to 0.00005335 and next thing you know we are down 200 sat because of greed and lack of patience. If you set your sell order higher than the current sell order it WILL be bought, just have a little patience.
2.) Please stop trying to unload a bunch of BlackCoins in one sell order. When buyers see a large sell order of 2 BTC and above they think a dump is coming and are hesitant to buy. Break your orders up into smaller chunks. It is better for you and the community in a whole.
3.) Don't stop buying BlackCoin. Even if you only buy 10- 100 coins every now and then, it keeps the momentum and volume up. If people think a coin is stagnant they will just start dumping the coin. Although I hold a considerable amount of BlackCoins, I still buy a few every day to keep the momentum going.

If you are currently selling on Mintpal set your walls higher. Cryptorush has broke 5000 sat and the sell walls there are much higher. I said earlier BC is worth more than 9000 sat and I think we will hit 9000 by the end of the weekend! After 9000 I don't know where it goes from there.

More then 1000% definitely. Thank you for the info. I know some people think this is a pump, but I do not think it is a pump at all. It does not follow the trend of a traditional pump. I think it is more about hype and excitement. Everyone is talking about BC and I think everyone wants to buy in before it is too late. What is really driving the price up is our community. If no one wants to sell low then the buyers have to keep increasing their bids. If the majority of the community stick together and do not try to out sell each other, the prices will continue to rise. We can definitely hit 5000 before the end of the day! |

Like most here I also agree being listed on Cryptsy might not be a good move while the coin is still young. Cryptsy has a track record of decimating young coins once listed on their site. The good news is I think we will hit 4000 today!!! |

You sure you're not selling those along the way?  I'm bearish on just about every alt these days, so it's hard for me to believe that blackcoin will rise above 5k, let alone even higher. If I can make a nice profit I'll be happy. I'm bearish as well, but conservatively estimating I do see it going well above 9000. This is not a number I pulled out of thin air, but comparing BlackCoin with previous trends..etc..etc. I know this will sound crazy and wishful thinking, but I would not be surprised is BlackCoin reached 0.00150 by next month. If you must sell, please set your sell walls higher. Your wouldn't sell one Euro for one penny USD. Don't sell BackCoin for 3200 sat when there is clearly demand! |

I am so glad I mined this coin early and sold 5 million+ Mint coins for BlackCoin. I am tempted to sell the remainder of my Mint coins before BlackCoin skyrockets. I do not believe this is a pump, and I do believe BlackCoin is still way undervalued.
If you are not interested in holding your BlackCoins that is your choice, but please set your sell walls higher. Even at 9000 sat BlackCoin is way undervalued.

Sorry to see any users of Mintcoin exit so early, but if I may be a bit of an asshole... Good Riddance! We don't need short term people who jump at the next coin just to make a quick buck. It is this activity that is keeping Mintcoin prices down. For all of us who are in it for the moderate long-term, take heart in short-timers exiting. That said, good luck to you IconicExpert - nothing personal, but I'm happy to see you bow out so others can get your coins on the cheap.
I do not take offense to your comments, everyone is entitled to his/her opinion. I still hold a few million Mint and I was in it for the long term. However, it is hard to support a project when the developers are not publicly active. Mint might get one last pump but it will not go the distance like some here believe. Barley active developers, low confidence in the coin, and low sell walls that average 10 BTC. New coins with the same or better features are being released everyday and unfortunately Mint is being lost in the crowd. |
