Martin and I are in London, watching plenty of Football, F1 and World Cup Cricket in the last 24 hours.. we are all set for tomorrow!
You guys have clearly been busy. I managed to watch a couple of Football and Cricket matches earlier and got burnt out quickly. Lost all of my Football bets, but I ended up winning all of my Cricket bets. Ended up with no profit and no loss overall which isn't a bad thing since I enjoyed watching some of the matches(Especially the T20 World Cup matches). Today we have day with full of upsets in soccer and cricket both because South Africa were already out of semifinal race but still fight hard with good spirit and won against might England it was big shock for many even England team because they were not expecting fight like this from cricket choker's, but today they change things very good. In soccer, we have some big shocks in English Premier League as well as La Liga where Barcelona chocks very badly from 0 - 3 to 3 - 3 worst from their poor form. Strange. I don't see Pakistan when I try to KYC.
If they have not ban Pakistan, why they have not including them in the list of countries when we try to do KYC. This just adds to the confusion.
This gave me a bad impression. I waited for at least 3 minutes and nothing has changed. Such a weak bowling lineup is not enough to win 158 runs. If they were able to collect more than 180, we could not say that the West Indies would win. Sri Lanka scored 189 runs against the West Indies, losing just 3 wickets. Weak teams like Bangladesh also scored 139 runs against them. The Australian players will win today by batting patiently. Agree here West Indian bowling is very weak, and they can't defend this total against batting of Finch, Warner and Smith currently we are in 6th over and Australia already done some good enough work for qualifying into semifinal 52/1 with Warner and Michel March both on crease and having some good batting. If Australia won this match then next match between South Africa vs England could be only formality because all hopes end for South Africa for qualifying into semifinal. But fingers crossed for tomorrow game Afghanistan vs New Zealand even I am personally feeling New Zealand can win this match without any problem but still too many rumours around for any upset in this match, let's watch what happen in tomorrow game. |

Meanwhile there is good news for PCB and cricket fans in Pakistan as Windes are touring Pakistan from 13 Dec to 22 Dec 2021. WI to tour Pakistan in December for three T20Is and ODIs. I don't think this tour will have any impact on big 3 and CNZ, they will continue to boycott touring Pakistan on political and security grounds. WI, SL, Bangladesh and Zim in the past have toured Pakistan. Where do you think is best to get reliable information ?
Most people feel reluctant to spend time in the library and maybe not user friendly to them, although vital information can be gotten there.
The internet makes access to information easy. I see the internet as a huge conglomerate of unrestricted and uncontrolled information. Hence for the fact that is is uncontrolled and information can easily be provided/obtained from anyone qualified or unqualified, information gotten must be verified as it is not completely reliable. Reliable information can be obtained from the library owing that they are hard copies of information or research that has gone through proper analysis before publishing, however this information may be outdated and not applicable to some present day situations. The information there are reliable for reference purposes. Google,the internet, and all the rest too many to mention can give you thousands of answers when you ask a question. But it's without doubt that,the librarian will give you the correct answer. Hope a lot gets to see the light about library and librarian's. For me Library is the best choice because I need some good rest of mind which is available in Library only too much Internet is really creating problems which need to avoid for some time and giving rest to mind is also very good. In early age I was really love to have some good time in Library but now having very small-time just because of some good hassle in life, but this Covid-19 give some good chance for having good old memories but now again going to miss this with Internet and google for having quick settlements. |
