x16r / x16s spmod-git4a has been released.  Free no fee, more speed.

If you like my free opensource work. Donate and receive profitable private bins (I have many algos). (PM for info)

I'm sharing code on github opensource for all of you to enjoy. I am adding some juice and releasing a faster x16r exe soon.
Free no devfee. spmod-git #4A

I will upload a fixed version soon.

I am waiting a few days.

yep.. final version of 1.09 just dropped..

I will upload a fixed version soon.

You saying that it is, doesn't make it true

Only 1 way to find out right. Smiley
1706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: X16R - RVN - Miner head to head test log on: May 09, 2018, 03:38:19 PM
And yet, even with 1% dev mining, enemy 1.08 and 1.09 came out ahead in testing.

1 week ago there was no enemy 1.09 miner right? This is because after I started to publish my opensource improvements, enemy copied my work and included it into his miner for a 5% boost. I have added a few percent on sp-mod #4, so it should be faster than 1.08. opensource, free and without a virus.

still getting 14mh for some round of some algo, i know there are 16 round of algo right? some do less hash other more

yes. My X16s (permuted sequence) implementation will fluctate with the order of the algos. You can see in my latest commit that the memory access in simd is pipelined with another hashing algo. So while the gpu is waiting for the memory to be ready, it can continue to work on other work in shared mem or in registers.. (similar to the claymores dual miner)

btw this is with your mod sp version 3

You should upgrade to version 4
1709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: X16R - RVN - Miner head to head test log on: May 09, 2018, 12:59:34 PM
The reason I do three rounds, with each miner running on an instance one time, is that the rig has a mix of 1080Ti cards, and as much as I've done to balance the instances so that they hash the same, they're not identical and some differences are to be expected.

but you need to run each round for 12 hours, if not the comparison is not fair. You run 2 rounds 9 hours and 1 round 12 hours. 12 hours is not enough to make a good prediction.

Instead of X16r, you shoudl compare the x16s algo.

sp-mod was credited with two very small blocks that the other miners were not

Because they where busy mining the devfee. (switching pools, missing profits)

My private was released 2 months ago.. (big farms) it also includes a fast x17 miner (24 mhash 1080ti).
Still available pm for details.

Who cares about 1.08 ?!   1.09 is current version.

In the spmod-git, I have only optimized 8/16 algos. My 16/16 algo private miner is around +10% faster than enemy 1.09 r5.
1712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: May 09, 2018, 12:00:37 PM
The test was made with spmod-git #3. I have released spmod-git #4 free and opensource

#4 is faster than enemy 1.08

To beat #9, I cannot share my code because he will only copy my work again.
1713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: May 09, 2018, 11:54:29 AM
1 week ago enemy v1.08 was the fastest downloadable x16r miner.

spmod-git #4 is faster, free and opensource

here is spmod-git #3 in a 9 hour comparison between the 3 mods.

Enemy 1.09 beta 5 was compiled just after I released #3.  (He use my github code and add the speedups  to his private fee miner)

1714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: May 09, 2018, 07:23:24 AM
i'm getting 13.5mh with x16r on 1070ti at 60% tdp +100 core 400 mem, what are you guys getting?

Depends on the sequence numbers, and how long you meassure the average rate. Testing for a few hours isn't enough. Testing x16S is more accurate, since the order is permuted and not random (every hashing algo excecuted once)

in X16S you have 16! combinations (2.092278988 E+13), in X16R 16^16 (1.8 E+18)

in round #3 spmod-git3 was faster than enemy 1.08

now you can try spmod-git4

Pushed more speed to github (x16R, X16S)

When simd is the previous algo in the chain:

Fugue64 +26% faster
Whirlpool64 +40% faster
Hamsi64 +40% faster

sp_ you know 1.09 was out to alfa testers before your open love  Grin

1.09 has 5 release numbers.  #5 was released yesterday after my latest commits-.
1718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: May 08, 2018, 03:58:56 PM
I pushed a 4% faster fugue to github + some pool tuning. Run with fixed difficulty on the pool.
The enemy dude is taking my optimized code and merge it into his 1.09 exe file. (1% fee miner)
I have only shared speedups in 8 of the 16 algos. My private can beat beat enemy 1.09 r5 with 10% dev fee.
1719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: X16R - RVN - Miner head to head test log on: May 08, 2018, 06:01:09 AM
but I swapped instances sp-mod and enemy 1.09, and increased the polls diff from 40 to 70

Quote
Round 1 v2.0 - IN PROGRESS

In this round, the free and opensource spmod-git3 seems to be doing abit faster than enemy 1.08 (50 blocks)

enemy 1.09r5 53
spmod-git3   48.5
enemy 1.08   48

The increase from 48(enemy 1.08) to 53(enemy 1.09r5) is because of the opensource optimalizations he has stolen from my git.

The instances/rig are managed by Awesome Miner, which restarts the miners for various reasons, based on rules I set.

Why do you restart the miner? Every restart will reduce the payouts. You should run for 12 hours without any restarts.

The sp-mod x16r private is around 10% faster than enemy 1.09
