1701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Publish0x September - October Update on: December 31, 2019, 01:42:26 PM
What do you think about Publish0x? They are a crypto blogging platform that is trying to compete with Steemit. There are two main ways you can earn crypto through it

- Creating articles and users tip those articles
- Tipping articles - This is free and you get 7 tips a day. You can choose what % of the tip goes to the article and what you keep. (The least you can tip is 20%).

I tried the platform for a while. Rewards are unfortunately very few. Of course, those who create very good content will earn some more money, but those who are not very professional have little chance.

Yes I tried mining BBC.... BBC Discord is full of people asking questions with no replies.

Try Telegram my friend. Discord has died a while ago. No one using Discord anymore.

Seems like the situation is actually a lot direr. They're asking miners to KYC: https://t.me/BigBangCoreEN/4852

This is the first time I'm hearing about miners needing to KYC for payouts. Seen KYC for staking node operators when a chain is fairly nascent, but miners... looks like an alarming turn of event. Doesn't bode well

Really? I didn't know about this. Why did need KYC for miners?
I hope there is a mistake here. It is not cool asking KYC for miners. It is not suit for decentralization.

1704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the motivation behind writing public Reviews verified on Blockchain? ✅ on: December 29, 2019, 07:03:14 PM
Why the new crypto investors always complain about the review platforms? If so many crypto enthusiasts leave the review on the platform, what is the role of the review platform in this process? Do you wish to write a high-quality review on site that will send you a reward for doing this?
I came to the conclusion after making short research, It looks like I found a part of the answer to my question: The blockchain-based Revain review platform has announced a partnership between Revain and DragonEx. They will implement the new reward system which will send the reward per high-quality review.

Source: https://revain.org/blog/revain-announces-integration-of-the-widget-with-dragonex-exchange

I've been in this market for years. I don't think there is much need for a platform for review especially recently. You can find a lot of content on Medium, Reddit, Twitter and many other social media channels.
Why would we need more platforms just for this?
1705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: United Crypto Systems (PreICO) on: December 29, 2019, 06:54:30 PM
Why didn't you think creating this topic in Gambling Discussion? I think you can get engagament than here.
I will follow and read about this project a while. It may worth for it.
1706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CARTESI | A Linux Infrastructure for Scalable DApps on: December 29, 2019, 06:52:21 PM
After reading some information on the website and ico review site, I think this project has huge potential. Linux the most used and developer friendly tech gonna be used in blockchain, so it will definitely add value to the tech world.
Yes I also monitor linux is very comfortable for my own personal, that's why I like the CERTASI project, I want to put my hopes for this project after a while not finding a good project for myself, I hope I'm comfortable here

You mean Cartesi, I guess Smiley
We've seen a lot of projects on blockchain world. But Cartesi first of its kind. I never heard something like that.
But they should make some advertisement much more than now. Yes, we are seeing some places but it has to be more and more...

90% of the network hashrate is done on a private pool.
Mining is not fair.
I would advise anyone not to mine or use BBC!
See for yourself: https://miningpoolstats.stream/bigbang

Is being done in a private pool. This does not mean that we cant mine BBC. No GPU or ASIC mining is supposed to happen at least at this point.
Base your comments on facts, This is what is wrong with the crypto space.
Too many inaccurate and emotional options based on subjectivity. What I have learned is arguments like this usually come from those who were gaming the system and now are upset they can't dump on the project any longer. Anyways let's start with facts and proof not assumptions and have an intelligent chat instead of calling everything a scam or illegitimate.

The facts is that we cannot mine BBC... The official pools do not accept new workers, blocks being found by external pools are being rejected by the official pool and the official pools are not paying out for days while the dev keep on mining happily on the private pool. I know these for a fact as all of these are happening right now while I am trying to mine BBC.

This makes me say BBC is a scam because people are being scammed right at this moment by not being able to mine while the devs mine on their private pool!

Did you try mining BBC?
I've tried and get some coins a while ago but experienced a problem with my PC. I don't know the situation right now.
I suggest that you should first ask the team where the problem is. Then if you can't mine still, we will discuss here if it is true.
I think Joel in the team. He may answer us.
1708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Superstition in Number 13, What About the Casino? (Lucky Six) on: December 28, 2019, 12:20:21 PM
Sorry but I am not sure I understood the whole thing properly. I am in Asia so superstition here is really big, so is numerology.

But I do not believe in it,,, maybe because I am modern. I know friends who gamble with their backs facing a certain direction (fengshui) or some who buy digit games when they see accidents (taking the carplate number of the accident) but it is all coincidence.

Luck is luck, random is blind:)

There is a superstition in every country, every nation, every human being. Only its dimensions are different. The number 13 is a superstitious superstition in western countries. And it's possible to find a lot of resources. This has nothing to do with modernity. I know people who are afraid of frogs.
1709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Superstition in Number 13, What About the Casino? (Lucky Six) on: December 28, 2019, 11:58:53 AM
To be honest, I don't know.

I knew an engineer and an architect. They told me that it is not good for them to design or build stairs with 13 steps. I thought this is just a superstition but I never thought that it is also being applied in professional jobs like that. In casino's, maybe people are avoiding it for the same reason. Don't know what is wrong with number 13 but it brings bad luck as they said it.

In fact, this story goes back to the roots of Christianity. Maybe there's a before.

Here are some of the first known source:

1710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra coin alive or dead? on: December 28, 2019, 11:54:01 AM
It is difficult to find very clear information about it. However, as I have read in a few places before, there is a problem between the SEC and the Libra. I think the SEC is keeping Libra out of the market for now. There may be some studies on this subject at the US Congress also.
1711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEOs on: December 28, 2019, 11:51:56 AM
Anybody here who had a great experience with IEOs? It's been months since I've joined an IEO and I didn't have a good experience yet (bounties). Let me know if there is any hope in here.

The Bounty era is slowly closing, and maybe it is. I think it would be better to try different things.
IEO or ICO it doesn't matter. Bounty tokens usually doesn't worth much for your effort. We used to see very profitable projects. But not anymore.
1712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel more lucky than usual when it's New Year's. on: December 28, 2019, 09:47:34 AM
I lived in this misconception, once before the New Year I had a good profit, and it happened again 2 years in a row.
I thought I was more lucky when the New Year.
Of course this is not true, the casino never changes under the influence of the social factor.
The casino is the same as always no change.
Or maybe there is?

good for you...
But this is more likely to be your only chance. I don't think it's a general situation.
1713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Superstition in Number 13, What About the Casino? (Lucky Six) on: December 28, 2019, 09:45:57 AM
First, I will not offend anyone if he does not know or is wrong in his country, but number 13 is an "unfortunate number" and people do not like him.

Number 13 is associated with the Lucky Six, a game where numbers are drawn before you draw, 6 numbers in particular.
In this game, each of the balls has different colors, and by playing the "case" Plague number 13 is black.
For all those superstitious, this is very bad and brings a bunch of bad things

Now, people never pick 13 when choosing numbers, but I thought more deeply.
Maybe the machine has artificial intelligence that deliberately pulls out number 13 because it knows people are an unlucky number and people won't dial that number.
That is my guess, it may sound naive, but the scratch was 70% correct.

I am interested in your opinions on this, whether it makes sense and whether you agree.
If something is not clear to you, ask?

I think it's about one or a few religions. Superstition. There's no other explanation. 13 just a number, just like other ones...
I respect then believing 13 is not good choice. But I don't believe.
1714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is It true youTube has started restoring of crypto related videos? on: December 28, 2019, 09:42:27 AM
Recently seen,
YouTube has started deleting videos of many users who speak on crypto either testimonial or introduction videos.
Many complaints about YouTube is deleting videos without giving any notice. giving shadow ban on videos.
For every action, google send notice, but this time without notice , google taking action on crypto based YouTube videos.

The warning on most of the videos and channels in my native language has been removed and there hasn't been any improvement on the ban. I think Youtube has stepped back on this.
1715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum co-founder Secretly Sold $11M Worth of ETH on Christmas Day! Got Outed! on: December 28, 2019, 09:41:21 AM
He thought it would go unnoticed because we would be full and occupied with family on Christmas Day!

https://www.cryptozink.io/ethereum-co-founder-jeff-wilcke-secretly-sold-eth/

A similar process took place a few years ago at Litecoin. Lee sold every Litecoin he had. (He explained that he was selling it.) Even though his appearance was bad for a while, he recovered.

But from a larger point of view, we might actually think it's a good thing. Better than holding a person worth millions of dollars in ETH, it is sold in a more balanced way.
1716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Recap for the year 2019 on: December 28, 2019, 09:37:44 AM
I'm not asking recap on what's happens in the Cryptocurrency industry, but on how 2019 made an impact in your lifestyle, motivation and financial status, is it positive or negative, are you full of hope or losing it, what is your assessment this coming 2020.

Every year since I met cryptocurrencies, it has changed our lives economically. But in 2019 I didn't see any difference. In April, there was a short-term positive impact. But then again the same crisis...
1717  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: SeedBox, Torrent Download, Premium Link generator & More - MaxSpeedBox.com on: December 26, 2019, 06:52:05 PM
what are the payment options.

There are various type of payment options available including bitcoin and it activated instantly! Smiley

I'll need a seedbox soon. Is here anyone tried this one already?
I bought a seedbox last year and paid for a year. They've gone and I can't find no one to ask the situation so I couldn't get my money back.
I never heard this one. If anyone recommend, I may think to try it.
1718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is YouTube Now Cracking Down on Crypto Related Contents? on: December 26, 2019, 09:01:41 AM
Crypto influencers are frustrated and confused by YouTube deleting crypto-related content on its platform

Based on Twitter and Reddit threads, YouTube suddenly began deleting a number of cryptocurrency videos on Dec. 23.

YouTuber Chris Dunn, whose channel has over 210,000 subscribers, noticed on Monday that the platform had removed all of his videos that mentioned cryptocurrencies.

I think there is a missed point of this application of Youtube. Not all Youtube channels, only some of them have received these alerts. In order to comment, we must first learn what they have in common.
1719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 26, 2019, 08:58:34 AM
Leicester vs Liverpool
Man United vs Newcastle
Man City vs Wolves
I think those 3 matches will be more interesting and much discussed.

Leicester vs Liverpool ...

A competition worth watching. I think it could be more exciting than most derby. Two of my favorite teams in the English league. It's not the money, it's the game of the real two good teams. Of course your (mostly) favorite Liverpool on paper but you can always have surprises.
1720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My sport betting journal. Build a 5 figure with a modest bankroll on: December 26, 2019, 08:55:53 AM

So theoretically everything is possible but in reality it will be more difficult to make some decent money with sport betting.

In theory, we all have a chance to go to the moon. Or one day buying Tesla vehicles. But life doesn't go along with theories. We have seen many different shapes of the table you provided. There were those who claimed that after a while, the number of BTCs it would make 2X, with a 10% daily gain.
These are always in theory ...

I hope you're lucky enough to make these theories real. Because luck is a very important factor.

BTW, "in theory" Bitcoin could be $ 1 million! If you want you can buy just 1 BTC and wait with less risk taking. Wink
