I know, I understand that, but what I am saying is why does the mixer address show as the send address in your QT client, not your address. sorry, I'm really tired, probably not communicating very clearly
|
|
|
why? thats the send address. It's where the money are supposed to be sent / supposed to arrive (indirectly of course). ok but, look at the address shown in the client as the send address. The coins have gone to the address shown in the client as being the final recipient. so....... how does this manifest is the question.

why? thats the send address.

This is the reason I thought the mixer address was your address. In your wallet, it shows the mixer address as the destination address, that is why they are still sat at the mixer.
I have no idea how that happened, if you didn't put those addresses as the send address in the command line.

That's mixer's address, Not mine. Sent from Windows to Linux. normal tx 1 coin get in. mixer tx not. This is my Windows XP address. 04:08:50 listaddressgroupings

aha, ok. Then the really odd thing is that the mixer address is the send to address in your QT client. Because when I send through mixer from windows QT, the send to address is still the destination address not the mixer address. The reason it hasn't forwarded is because in your QT the mixer address is the final destination the coins were going to

I got a strange issue after the new update. I got the new wallet, conf, and it's perfectly synced BUT i am missing coins now. Looks like my oldest deposit is not showing in my balance? Here are the screenshots: try rebuilding.

Let me clear Redbboxed is mixer tx 2 attemps. 2coin, after 3coin I use this this is first 2coin tx This is the block tx included 2 coins didn't get in. Maybe this is my problem only. But something is gone bad. I lost my coin. gotcha, I understand, sorry for not getting it. I will pass this on to ATCsecure, I am sure he will be grateful of the feedback and will have a look.

I don't know if you guys really want to play this game just yet. ATCSecure has always said that this is just a coinmixer and not "NSA" level type anonymity. His rev 3 will get to that level. If somehow, the answer is correct, you guys will just create a lot of FUD that ATCSecure never said rev 1 will deliver.... you mean. No one should test the anonymity in case they can break it? bit of an odd way to approach a feature set. In my line of work we have always tested code as hard as we possibly can until it broke. Then we knew how to make it better. I hold DRK and I hold XC I evangelise for neither. I just want the tech behind my coins to be as good as possible, if people break it all the better. Then the dev knows what needs to be fixed. Sure you should test it, but don't take it like it's an official representation of what XC will ultimately deliver at the end. The test is on the sending of it arriving at the destination, not on how "secure" or "anonymous" the final XC will deliver. Everyone knows that coin mixing isn't 100% anonymous and ATCSecure have already said that for rev 1, it's just a generic mixer that won't deliver 100% anonymity. DRK trolls will run with this and FUD this to death. There is no need to create FUD for them. Now, if REV3 anonymity fails, then that's a different story.
